I literally couldn't find anything negative about them and now I see why! Jessica was so professional, organized and kind. I told her that we would be celebrating our toy poodles 2nd Birthday and she was able to schedule us for the day before her party. We were concerned with how she would handle grooming again. Prior to her appointment I received appointment confirmations via text and email. Jessica arrived on time, was gentle and friendly. She spent time allowing Chloe to get acquainted and made me feel really comfortable as well. Chloe was so excited to meet her. I was asked questions regarding my grooming preferences and struggled to communicate them to her. I anxiously awaited and peeked out the window occasionally. I frantically worried that I didn't explain something properly and Chloe would look a mess for her party. I was shocked when Chloe and Jessica rang the doorbell only after an hour. Chloe pranced into the house and looked PERFECT! More importantly, she didn't show a single sign of stress. Jessica set her down and she ran off to get a toy and brought it back like nothing ever happened. I absolutely could not have been any more satisfied with the entire experience. It is so convenient, I love the peace of mind knowing that she is right outside my door and it is so much easier on her. Grooming previously took 3 hours, by the time I picked her up she was stressed, anxious and absolutely desperate to potty. I also thought it was so thoughtful that they returned Chloe with a really cute flower collar instead of the dreaded bows. She even remembered it was her birthday and brought me a birthday bandana too in case I didn't have anything for her to wear to her party. But I am very particular about my pets and who I trust them with, so the fact that I trust them with the staff here says a lot. I have short haired dogs that don't need much other than nail trims, but I appreciate that I can just stop by with them anytime and the staff knows them, and knows exactly how I like their nails to be done (clipped and Dremeled). I also have a pretty nervous breed and their regular groomer here has earned their complete trust and affection. We are in and out in 10 minutes for nails. Even more, until recently I was taking a very elderly dog I took in from a family member here for full grooming. She was blind and had dementia and needed someone to take a lot of care with her while she was at the groomer. Pampered Pet always did a very good job with her and I appreciated knowing that they were patient with her needs and didn't overwhelm her given her condition. She never came home appearing stressed which was a small miracle as she got toward the end of her life and I would take her with the primary goal of keeping her clean and hygienic. They do a good job here and genuinely care about the animals. I appreciate having them nearby.

I gave them a call, and they said I could walk in any time for a nail trim, so I took him almost immediately after I called! Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions, I could not go inside, but the owner (I believe) helped me out so much from outside. It was very quick and painless, and Spencer came out looking like a new man. As I got my wallet out to pay, the owner kindly said this first one would be on him (a nail trim is normally $15). I will absolutely be back here the next time Spencer needs a nail trim or any other grooming need solely because the owner was so kind to me. They've been in business for 19 years, so they know how to take care of their customers and pets! Definitely consider this place for your pets' grooming needs.

I couldn't differentiate between a puppy cut Vs regular cut or how I would like the hair on his face cut( umm..short) to if I wanted his teeth brushed( huh? Sure!) During our visit Mike proved to me extremely knowledgable, friendly & reassuring. He guided me through what might work best for my pup without being overtly aggressive. Sometimes, it is great to have someone help navigate thru unchartered territories. My pooch even got a complimentary nail trim while there. On the day of his grooming,post session,I came in to find a perfectly trimmed little pup who was too busy playing with the other dogs in the salon to even notice I hadn't been there all this time! Mike kept a close eye on him knowing it was our first time which made the experience all the better. Overall: I'm glad I had Mike & Precious Paws to help groom my pooch... I've bathed my Aussie here twice - the first time I decided to try out a new place; the last time, today, I decided to give this place a second chance. - The water is cold to lukewarm at best. - The soap is pushed through tubes by water - thus, it is watered down and cleans NOTHING...yes, they have the same system at Pet Supplies Plus, however, at least they provide pump bottles of each shampoo in addition to the crappy tube system. - The 'towels' are shammies no larger than a wash rag... thank goodness I had REAL towels in my truck to dry my cold and (still) dirty pup. - I don't understand the pricing... his first bath was $20.00 and his bath today cost $16.00... but he weighs more now!!! Save your money.....You can drive the same distance from the dog park to the South Park Shoppes Pet Supplies Plus, get a 'Dirty Dog' Card (5 baths for $26.00) be provided with real towels and more shampoo than you'll ever need - and the water is nice and warm.
