Please emphasize you only spent one and half hour on this full grooming for a doodle, you shaved him and no bandana provided this time. Very small and unassuming, but feels very personal. My dog is very nervous with baths and i have been unable to wash him on my own, decided to turn to the professionals and they did not disappoint! Artie has been itching, scratching, and licking for days and we have seen a noticeable difference since we took him to get a medicated bath last night. he came back fluffy, smelling great, and smooth! I found Puppy Love as I was looking for a new groomer for my best girl Sydney. It was just after stay home conditions ended and she was soooooo hairy not having a cut since last summer. It did take 3 weeks for the appointment but I attributed it to the quarantine just ending and the fact they are busy because they are good. I must say they took great care of Sydney. She was happy as could be when I picked her up. And she looked like a million bucks compared to when I brought her in. Ive been taking my two dogs here for several years, since just after they opened and it's the only groomer Id recommend. Their place is clean, cute, safe, and feels intimate which I like. They always spend so much time with each of my dogs, and you can tell they truly love animals and care about the quality if their work. When one of my dogs had to have surgery, she asked about her when I brought my other dog. She remembered! She took the utmost care when grooming my dog after surgery too! I trust Krista implicitly with my fur babies, and truly like her as do my dogs! (I just moved out of state, and wish I could travel back just to get my dogs groomed by her. Our dog, Bella, HATES getting her nails trimmed. It's a battle every single time. We've had a couple local grooming places unsuccessfully try to trim her nails. Puppy Love had great reviews and was close by, so we decided to give them a call. They told us to bring her in the next day. I have an 11-year-old German Shepherd who can be super difficult and has a lot of joint and arthritis issues. I have taken my golden retriever here twice and had an excellent experience both times. Krista is very affectionate with the dogs and genuinely cares about her work. My dog isn't the most cooperative but she did an excellent job when he was scared of the blow dryer or nervous of new surroundings. I saw him sneak a few kisses to her (which is rare!), and I knew he was comfortable. She did a great job trimming his nails, cleaning his ears, and cutting his thick coat. I was amazed it only took an hour! Most other grooming places want you to leave your dog there for an entire day and they get crated before&after which is not fun for any dog. We brought our 2 large dogs to Puppy Love grooming for a bath, nail trim, ear cleaning and blueberry facial. The shop itself is so cute. There's a counter with some treats and toys for sale to further spoil your pup and a few chairs if you like to stay and wait. Parking is on the street but there was plenty of it and it's free (no meters). When we entered the shop Krista greeted us with a big smile and loved up on the boys for a minute. You can tell she genuinely loves dogs and is so kind and caring. She asked if she could give them a treat (so nice because some places don't and our one dog has a sensitive stomach). The treats are locally made and preservative free which is cool. Krista told us it would be about 1-1.5 hours so we left for breakfast. When we came back Pj was done and Rory was just getting his new scarf tied on. The scarves were red white and blue for Memorial Day/4th of July. Such a nice touch compared to some places that just throw on a piece of scrap cloth and call it a scarf. Immediately upon seeing the dogs we could tell they got a good solid cleaning. They love to rough house in the mud and are usually caked and matted in dirt. They have never smelled so good and looked so clean! Pj is finally white again and Rory's big ears were cleaned to perfection! Their nails are short and well manicured. We have finally found our go to groomer! read more

Very Disappointed- first time and never again! overall impression - unkept and unfriendly!!! I was told it was going to be a few hours because the two groomers were working on a very large dog. I offered to bring my six pound dog back , as dog hair was flying and their story changed and they told me to leave my dog and they may get to him sooner ? I thought other reviews raved about only one dog at a time ? The entrance was dirty and covered in large chunks of dog hair. The lack of attention and couldn't be bothered attitude from the groomer was apparent as I tried to discuss my individual requests.
