Went in to get some scent diet dog food since my authorship wouldn't come in time for when I ran out, they didn't have the bigger bag that I wanted & so Matt happened to be right there while another gal was helping me look for it & offered to give me a discount on 2 smaller bags to make up for the larger bag not being in stock for me. Completely unexpected & very much appreciated that he offered that to me so I didn't have to pay more and I was all set until my next autoship of dog food comes in. It's a Thursday night, I have a decent evening and decide to top it off with getting another fish. I head to PetSmart. I pick the fish I want, let the gal know I'm ready for assistance. She was rude and had an attitude from the get-go. I let her know which fish I want and that I have a preference for the smallest one she can find. She , in a tone, asked why and stated it didn't matter as they all grow to the same size. I let her know it was preference, she didn't even take her time with netting a fish. put the net right in, scooped out the first few fish and TOSSED them into the water container. She ended up killing 2 fish by flinging them into the floor. She then, with an audacity I've never seen picked them up from the floor and tossed them into the tank with the other fish. She was very rude, her facial expressions were not what is expected in the customer service industry. read more

I called in and spoke with the manager, she listened to what I had to say and offered to replace the aquarium with one from the floor. My friends and I drove 45 minutes to Pet Smart to buy a fish hat we really wanted. We showed up 30 minutes before closing. We were waiting near the fish tanks while these middle aged workers were playing with the guinea pigs instead of helping us. When we finally got their attention and asked for a fish. The older worker stood their and said and I quote "NO, we close in 20 minutes and I have to put all of the animals away and close all of the registers." Not only did they turn us down they turned us down while they were selling crickets to other customers. Our overall experience was not good nor helpful. She turned away real paying costumers. They had an incorrect phone number number for me for years, but were finally able to correct it here. Now I can get online coupons. I wandered around without any employees helping me because there was a long line for one cashier. I finally waited to ask the only employee in sight about bird supplies. She just pointed to a corner of the store. Aisles were mislabeled. Had to wait in line again to check out. The cashier called several times for more help but there was no response. Lame! Their prices are too high for me to shop here regularly. And lack of employee help is bad. Crowded parking lot for many other stores. read more

Horrible experience! Groomer nice but inexperienced. When I picked up dog her eye lid was swollen with a bubble in corner of eye. Manager was called. She was rude and indicated not their problem. Took dog to vet, $127.00 later, with meds, eye cleared up. My former groomer had moved, this groomer not ready. I will find another service. read more

Horrible experience with grooming! I am still furious about this. Took us forever to get our 2 mini Goldendoodles in for a groom, we were scheduled last week and got pushed another week and finally got in yesterday 5/9/23. Brinley was the groomer, we checked them in and were told it would be 3-4 hours for both pups. 5.5 hours later I get a call from the store manager saying the groomers had walked out and he realized there were dogs in the back in cages that were only partially groomed!!! WHAT?! He said it looked like 1 of my dogs had been started but not finished, I asked him to clarify, that my dogs had been there for 5.5 hours mostly in a cage, he said it seems so. Unbelievable. I rushed down to rescue my pups and could tell that they had both been bathed and one had a partially shaved tail and chunks of hair hanging from 1 ear. The guy who got my dogs was not the manager but said that the groomers got mad at something and all walked out. A message to the groomers... did you even think about who you were hurting when you did this? If you wanted to send a message to your boss by walking out that is one thing, but did you even think about your customers and the dogs in your care? Obviously not. Your selfishness, foolishness, incompetence, and lack of emotional intelligence are on full display and I hope you lost your jobs and that you don't work with dogs anymore. Grow up and learn how to resolve your issues without hurting other people. And I am sure the management has a big part too. This was inexcusable. Never again will you have my business. read more

4 minutes agoNEW Don't trust the sales people at this store. I live in a remote area and can't seem to keep the dog around the yard. I decided to put a buried cable electric fence in and when driving through St George stopped at the Petsmart to buy one. Well the sales person just wouldn't let me buy the cheaper in ground system and insisted I would regret not buying the expensive wireless one, promising I could return it if it didn't work. Well the fence sucks and subsequently I lost my dog. When I was finally able to get into town return the unit, of course they wouldn't give me a refund. It was well over $300 dollars and after losing my job due to the Pandemic I'm screwed. read more

I took my dog into Petsmart today for a grooming appointment. he had a leptospirosis booster shot earlier today. he had no reaction to the first one but petsmart told me to leave. they said that they couldn't groom him because he had a vaccination in the last 48 hours. I'd like to see evidence that there's EVER been a dog that had a bad reaction to grooming after a leptospirosis BOOSTER shot. I doubt they can find one record of that in their history. It is an asinine requirement. I took time out of my day to come over here. Probably time to find another groomer. My time is valuable but Petsmart clearly doesn't think so. read more

If anyone reading this has a recommendation for an amazing groomer, please share! I must be a slow learner... I have used their grooming service multiple times and not been overly happy. I've lived in St. George 19 months and still can't find a proper grooming place. Today was the last straw. I booked two appointments weeks ago for my pups. One of my dogs needed a rabies booster so I asked what I needed to do to make sure we were good to go (because their policy is that the dog has to be current)... I was told to bring in the paperwork and everything would be good to go! LIES! There is a 48 hour waiting period. Was this communicated to me at any point? Nope! When I asked questions I was all but yelled at. If they are willing to get angry with me in public over a few valid questions, what are they willing to do to my dog in private? I am not willing to find out. read more

They go to great lengths to ensure the safety and health of their fish stock and will refuse a sale of the fish is unhealthy. They have frequent sales. The Bad: Parking is always crowded since they share the lot with several other business. If you care about your animal do not take them the Pet Smart to be groomed. I was charged over $60.00 for a "full grooming" as well as an add on of having my dogs nails buffed. My poor dog was shaved practically bare, he even has some naked spots that are very sensitive where the "groomer" got closer than the already 2 layers to close shave. He did not get a bath, he did not get his nails clipped let alone buffed and he is now terrified to be touched. I will never put my poor little guy through that again, and I hope this review saves someone the same frustrations. read more

I come to this store because the workers are always friendly and willing to help, Today even more so. My roommate's dog after having surgery seven days ago has ruined her original cone of shame. I knew she needed a new one so I came to PetSmart to get a new one. The dog is a six-month-old American Bully. The first time I came in without her and got a medium cone. Getting home I learned that it wouldn't work. I put her and me in the car and returned. Upon entering the store the woman I checked out with said " so this is the culprit." Yes, she was. I returned to the cones and was able to get her a size larger. Checking out the woman offered her treats so that she would stop trying to run out the doors. Frustrated and alone to handle and put on a new cone I asked the cashier if she could help me change the cone since I had no one to help me at home. She helped me put the cone on and gave the dog more treats. I didn't get the young woman's name but I want the company to know what a great job she is doing to help the customers. read more

We took our dog in for some much needed washing! The groomer was very kind and did a fantastic job washing and grooming my dirty dog! He is usually timid with new people but, went back with her just fine. Compared to what smaller groomers charge, PetSmart is priced well! Cashier 537891 who's name is conveniently not on the receipt was extremely rude when I was checking out. I was on a phone call and I did ask the caller to please wait while I paid. She was huffing and puffing the entire time and when I said thank you to her instead of her thanking me for my purchase she completely blew me off. This place isn't cheap to begin with, the service can at least be a little more pleasant. Will definitely start ordering the dog food online and else where. They also have a new thing where if they don't have it you can us the store i-pad and order the item if they have it online and then ship it for free to your house. This review is for the grooming salon only. I have taken my dogs there on three different occasions. Each time I scheduled an appointment well in advance, and each time that I dropped my dogs off I had to wait around 5 to 6 hours for them to be ready. I feel like they get behind, so when I drop my dogs off they get stuck in a cage for hours while they try to catch up. Annoying, yes, but last time they actually had the gall to blame it on my dogs. They were just so "naughty" that it took a long time. Very unprofessional and also untrue. I've had them to other grooming salons and also I've groomed dogs myself. They are no more "naughty" than any other dog that I've groomed, and their former groomer who moved away said they were very well behaved. Very uncool, Petsmart. You suck. read more

If I could review 0 stars I would.. I went in hoping as excited to add some fish to my tank. I went in and Precious was very rude when helping me. When she got our fish she put 10 tetras and 2 frogs in the same very small bag. I know they have larger bags because Kim used it when she helped me before. Any ways she tried putting my other fish in the same bag until I asked her to use another one. She rolled her eyes and was rude. She also hit my fish on the edge of the tank several times. AND ONLY GAVE ME 9 TETRAS WHEN I BOUGHT 10 so I have to spend more gas money to drive back up there to get my other one. read more
