Do not use the groomers at PetSmart 10460 Town Center Dr. Westminster, CO. My Yorkie had an appointment yesterday December 5 at 8:30 am with Kelly. I was told by the manager of the salon that Kelly was experienced at using the size 7 razor cut. Taking Ann's word I scheduled an appointment with Kelly. Well, Kelly cut a piece of my dog's ear off, not just cut it, but cut a piece off. I was told by Ann it was just a cut; she didn't tell me a piece was cut off. The vet tech (Morgan) and vet doctor who looked at my dog's ear said it was a piece cut off. I was told by the staff from Banfield Hospital that this is a recurring incident with the groomers at PetSmart. They asked me to file a complaint with the management, so I did. You know what Kat the manager said, and I quote " All our groomers are new groomers" I told her, not my problem. Kat, then said they will pay my dog's vet bills, not enough. I told her I wanted Kelly FIRED, her response was it's not that easy, really; she injured my dog, that is reason enough. I told her she is looking at a lawsuit if she didn't do anything about it. The vet technician said, now my dog will be afraid to be groomed. How many more dogs will be injured or killed before someone does anything about it. It looks like the groomer chewed my dog's ear instead of scissors, and who cuts hair like that, there was no hair left on my dog's ears. Could she not see how close she was to cutting her ear??? Looking at the groomer now, she looks like she may have a drinking problem. To top it off at 3:27 I get an email and a text saying they are canceling Bella's appointment for 12/5/2024 at 8:30 am. Trying to cover their ass that she wasn't there. Too late I have all copies of emails and text messages and it was noted by the vet tech. Plus I documented the time I was there talking to Kat the manager. My advice DO NOT use PetSmart dog grooming salon. Their groomers are not professionals. Attached are photos of the injuries the groomer did to my dog.

    Female bettas living happily together.

This store refused to sell me fish due to me trying to purchase two female bettas at once. Unknowledgeable employees. I have multiple tanks and have been keeping these fish for 20 plus years. They lost my business. I will never go back.

    Nice and clean AND happy!

Beagles smell...bad. My Bailey girl was smelling pretty bad so the grooming salon really caught my eye when we were at the Banfield location in this Petsmart. We mosied on in and made an appointment with Arcelia. Fast forward a couple of days and we drop Bailey off for her spa day and a couple of hours later we are called to come pick her up. Arcelia did a fantastic job! Bailey's nails were nice and smooth and she smelled wonderful. On top of this, Bailey seemed really happy when we picked her up. Usually she is traumatized and is bummed the rest of the day. Arcelia had nothing but great things to say about Bailey and she really listened to what we were looking for. I will definitely book Bailey's "spa days" with her from now on.

My dog looked awful when I picked him up. Not what I wanted or discussed with the groomer. She was pretty rude about it. Won't be returning.

They price everything fairly and usually quote us lower than some of the other ones in the area. We have made appointments with just about every vet at this location and they are all extremely experienced, caring and knowledgeable. Unfortunately a couple years ago we had to put our dog down and if you've ever had to euthanize a pet you know how hard it is. We were able to go into a private room that had been set up to feel more like a room in your home, it didn't feel medical. There was a couch, carpet and tables. It felt like they went above and beyond to make us as comfortable as possible, which we really appreciated. Afterwards, they let us stay in there as long as we need to. A week or so later we received a card from the entire staff and a clay footprint from our dog. They really do care about you and it shows.

It took me a while to figure out what's wrong with this place, because it's insidious…read more The whole operation here seems designed with the intent to mollify you into leaving quickly so the vets can hide their lack of expertise and make money off the next guest. When you sit down with a vet, they seem to be out to lunch. They don't engage with any videos you show them, don't put much stock in your perspective or concerns as a pet owner. They ask very few questions and rush to end the appointment without considering the animal's overall medical history. The vet barely speaks to you, as the human. Spends the whole time cooing over how cute the pet is, talking to the pet, to the point where it's difficult to even get a word in edge wise. Frankly, it seems like a patronizing and deliberate tactic to avoid answering questions. They suck up all the air in the room trying to make you and your pet feel so cute and special, but when you finally do get an opportunity to ask a question, the vet seems annoyed, the response is quick, thoughtless, and non-committal. No advice given, doesn't seem concerned, doesn't take things seriously. The vet chuckles and tosses out a boiler plate response with no professional recommendation. Doesn't ask if you have any more questions, just goes right back to baby talk with the animal. It honestly seems like they don't know what they're doing. I came here looking for professional advice and I feel we were coddled, manipulated, patted on the head, and sent out the door. I got home and realized the side effects of the treatment my cat received were much worse than expected... and really common. The vet told us nothing about them. At this point, googling things is more useful than going to Aspen Arbor. And way less expensive. And I don't close my phone feeling like I just got scammed. After reading other reviews, it seems that condescension, misdiagnosis, poor comprehension, inadequate communication, and failure to take things seriously are common practice here. And it sounds like they've killed a couple pets as a result. Oh and lastly, when you get there, the doors don't have buttons. The two front desk agents will sit there and watch you as you struggle to get the doors open. We obviously are done here and will be transferring our medical records to Care Animal Hospital.

I called to ask about my puppy and I got a call back with updates on how she was doing and the plans if she doesn't feel well. The staff really puts my worries to rest so I can leave town for my trip. Thank you!! My puppy gets over the moon excited each time we arrive at the parking lot!! Dec 2018: I went on a 2-week trip out of the country and had to leave my new puppy at Camp Bow Wow. They emailed me the very first day I dropped off my dog to explain an injury where my dog stepped on a bug and they reassured me that she has been taken care of. During the rest of the 2-weeks, I watched the video camera occasionally to check on my puppy and have been very impressed by the staff's care and gentleness towards the dogs. I also saw how fast they cleaned up accidents in the play area. When I checked out this morning, I received verbal reports from different staff about how my puppy did. I am so grateful for the care they gave my puppy. It's my first time boarding my new puppy and I was seriously anxious, but the staff has put my mind at ease and it was so nice to know my puppy was taken care of. My only suggestion is maybe adding a little more in the teacup's playroom so it's more stimulating for the dogs. Otherwise, everything was wonderful! Thank yo
