I built my daughter a small "koi" pond in our back yard and went in to get a couple more comet goldfish on 2/13/26. In the past I was able to ask for a certain color combination. Tonight the individual working told me I couldn't choose the fish I wanted because they were feeder fish. It was a big let down for myself and my daughter. I really appreciated our experience here. Our dog just had her teeth cleaned that day. Our vet recommended wet food for a day or two & some VOHC accepted dental treats. We were greeted, and immediately found our products. A woman asked if we needed any help & advised that if we were purchasing, that the store does price matches to Chewy.com. So we looked up our Greenies product and it was cheaper online. And they price matched it no big deal! Our dog also scarfed down the yummy (to her) wet dog food from BlueBuffalo when we took it home. Her stomach handled it well also (which we were worried about). Also, the PetSmart app has games to play where they reward your scores with in store coupons. We play ahead of time and used them with the price match. read more

There was no worker controlling the fish area we waited in line for 10 minutes just to ask the lady at the front desk for help and she had the biggest attitude saying There should be a lady back there go back there waited for another 5 minutes and I am usually not the kind of person to go to places right before closing but I was slap packed busy all day and had to go around half our before closing and we go to the back waiting for help they have at max a 20 gallon tank with at least 100 fish we told her about the size of the tank said it was about the size of a bath tub but she didn't understand what I meant and she then proceeded to say I can't sell you fish if your going to keep them in at tub we never said that and then we proceed to tell her we weren't keeping them in a tub and she said I can't sell them to you pulled up a picture of our tank and she wouldn't give us fish said ok bye we'll go to petco were they actually know how to treat people read more

I had our first experience here with Darris as the groomer. Our dog looked 'ok' but it's the little things the groomer didn't do ..like his nails were not trimmed very well. Still super long. The hair on his tail and feet also don't look like they were trimmed. Still super long. And his ear hairs were completely left untouched. If I were to give this place another chance I would use a different groomer. read more

Will never go back to this location. Checkers are poorly trained, (not their fault) and management on duty was rude and unprofessional. Took my cavapoo in for her 2nd time here. Terribly disappointed. The staff is always very friendly so no complaints there. My puppy did have a few matting issues but they were not awful. I wanted a "puppy cut" and showed a picture b/c the first time they were told this they obviously didn't know what that meant. With the picture they stated they may have to go a bit shorter b/c of the matting. Sure no problem. When I returned she had been SHAVED to the skin! I was not happy but just accepted it b/c they blamed the matting. But when I got home I looked and what hair was left on her head was uneven and the ears weren't even even. Ears had strands left randomly longer on one ear. The nails were NOT trimmed either. I paid for the Halloween special which was to include a Halloween bandana, she was given a blue Scooby Snacks bandana. Definitely NOT Halloween. I paid $100+ for a very crappy job. I will never return to Petsmart for grooming! Take my advice and just go elsewhere! read more

Grant says that his iPad wasn't working so he couldn't do online orders (even tho he had mine sitting right there so not sure what part of it wasn't working... besides the fact that I never got a confirmation email. Only found that my order was ready through my app...). He said I should've called instead of sitting outside even though I had already said I called three times. He said "well I've just been sitting here and my phone never rang" he was extremely rude and didn't care that other customers were waiting as well and he was just sitting there. He blamed the app, then the other employees, me, and his phone. I would love to know if his manager allows him to sit there while the other girl did all the work. He went back to scrolling his phone when I asked if he could help us but I guess he had more important things to do. read more

I refuse to go to this store anymore. I gave them another chance today with their vet services and they were TOTALLY USELESS. My dog got bit by something and his face is swollen and seeping. Today is Sunday so we headed to Yukon to have the PetSmart vet look at it as our regular vet is closed. Once my husband told him what had happened he informed him they don't provide services like that and he would have to go elsewhere. He's a vet, something simple like a bug bite should have been doable. We were willing to pay. He totally refused to provide any service. I used to take my dogs here for their monthly grooming. The grooming techs were friendly and good with the dogs, however, the last time I took them for a grooming I got concerned because it had been over 5 hours and no phone call. I called them and was told the groomer that was responsible for them was gone. I drove to the store and told them they better find my dogs. The girl helping me knew I wasn't happy. She went in the back room and came out with my dogs. Her comment was "sorry, I guess everyone forgot about them". My dogs are a Lab and a Boarder Collie. They aren't easy to miss. They don't take them for potty breaks and my two will hold it and hold it. They headed straight for the first piece of grass they could find. As a retail store it may be OK but their "specialty" services are well below par. read more

My experience at this location has been great. I don't use the grooming or veterinary services, so I can not comment on this. I walk in and get dog food and the occasional dog toy and treats. It's always clean and the staff has always been helpful when I have questions. read more

The only reason I go to petsmart is because I love banfield vet and their banfield staff. Any time I deal with petsmart grooming, it always ends on a bad note. I've had times I paid for a full dog pawdicure and didn't receive all "items/jobs" in the description, then I had them argue my toy Aussie is a mini Aussie even though my vet, breeder, and dogs height clearly proves she is a toy, and then I was priced something on the phone for my dog breed, size, and weight and when I got there they told me no. I talk to the manager and at this Yukon location she just told me "sorry" and backed her employee who was clearly annoyed with her facial expression and tone (clearly they lack hiring people with good communication skills and professionalism). Also when I pointed out my dog was a toy Aussie they told me "I'm sorry but we don't have pricing for that" as if it were my fault for their lacking of having a restricted selection of breeds and then they got to chose what I paid. There is a price difference from standard to mini but not mini to toy. I don't know but if you are like me and value how you're treated then I HIGHLY recommend you to go elsewhere. Great selection, friendly and helpful staff, and lots of happy puppies. However, do not use Bainfield Animal Hospital, the veterinary service offered at PetSmart. We loved our vet, but their corporate policy is horrible. They overmedicated my pup every time. Pushed for unneeded procedures, and generally tried to squeeze every penny possible out of you. And then wouldn't even let us out of our monthly health plan after we lost one of our dogs. Great store, greedy vet services. Also, the groomer almost hung my dog while trying to clip his nails, avoid them at all times. read more

I can't believe my amazing experience here. I've used other locations and this by far was the best experience I've had with PetSmart grooming. I called today about a last minute appointment for my boxer/lab mix and they were able to get me in immediately. Upon arrival I was greeted so nicely. They took my dog back and called me an HOUR later saying she was ready. They handed me a little pamphlet with details of everything they did and what they used and even left a sweet comment about how my dog did. (Thank you symphony) my dog has never smelt this nice not to mention they put a cute bow in a her hair which no other groomer has ever done. I'm over the moon with how everything turned out and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for taking care of my fur baby! read more

I like this petsmart the staff are always helpful and super nice and have plenty of foods and toys and clothes for your pets, some weekends you can catch adoption day which is always nice to see the fur babies get adopted, now I dropped one star because I don't like the fact that I feed my dog vegetarian food or vegan this location only has 2 brands that they carry vegetarian and they been out of the brand I buy for over a month! Petco has more variety in my eyes when it comes down to special foods. read more

I went in your store today on Garth Brooks to get crickets I stood there for almost 10 minutes three employees look at me and just stood at the register and one guy walks out of a door on farther down from the fish and just walks on completely ignored I have 3 big fish tanks quite a few reptiles and I have shopped there for almost 10 years and then to find out you guys didn't have no crickets which wasn't a big deal it was to customer service and how I was treated. So I'll just go to Petco. And I'm a manager at grocery store so I know how you should treat your customer. read more

This pet store is awesome! They always have really good clearance sales! The staff is very friendly! I like seeing people with their animals having fun! It's one of my favorite places to go! I always look for something on sale to get for my kitty cats that will keep them active and not being fat cats!! And if you buy a ton of food on sale and the cats try to burry it they don't give you any griefs about returns! But as always I spend way to much money in there! read more

I have been a customer of Petsmart for over 15 years, great people and good pet perks! I have had 4 Great Danes over those15 years and we use to go to the I-40 store for 14 years and switched to Yukon last year. They both have very nice staff, they treat my pets like family and always give the dogs treats and spoil them rotten. Thank you Petsmart for being an extended part of my family! :-) read more

This review is actually for BANFIELD Vet inside of PetSmart but I want to be sure all bases are covered and hope that PetSmart wakes up to the reviews. I wouldn't even give them ONE star if it would let me! Oh how I wish I had read these reviews before I went! I went to Banfield because I received a "FREE" office visit AND EXAM coupon in the mail. I have a small dog that I suspected had a stroke- but wanted to be assured it wasn't just an ear infection. My appointment was for 5:00 - and just like vets, I make appointments at specific times because I do have a life outside of a vet's office. I was there at 4:55. The receptionist dallied around for a good 10-15 minutes before she asked me what I needed. She took all the information again I gave them when I made the appt and took me to the exam room. She did the vitals and kept making sales pitches for their "pet wellness" plan but when I didn't bite, she finally left. TWENTY minutes later I had thoughts of heading out the door, it has now been a 40 minute wait for the vet - I have never sat and waited on a vet in my life and I'm not young - and have always had at least 3 dogs and a cat so I visit vets often! I wish I had walked right out of there! But I didn't...and I regret that decision. The vet finally walked in and had me put my dog on the floor so she could watch her. I told her I was there to be sure she didn't have an ear infection and after looking in her ears she assured me she was clear of that. She checked her reflexes and diagnosed possible tumor. Okay. Then the bill came. My mistake? I told them I had a "FREE" coupon BEFORE the bill. They gave me only $34.95 off of the office visit when the coupon CLEARLY said it was a $47.95 value! Then they ADDED another $24.95 for a neurological exam! Are you serious!?!??? I argued both in a nice way but they didn't budge. I told them I have never been to a vet that didn't include a diagnosis with the office visit AND EXAM and all I wanted them to do was check for an ear infection! My billed totaled $90!! I wish I knew how to get hold of someone who matters but after reading these reviews it may actually be how they train these people to run the business so it wouldn't matter anyway. The vet wanted to make an appointment for a follow up and I just gave them my best "are you crazy?!?" look and told them "absolutely not - I will NOT be back!" I can honestly say I have never told anyone that to their face before. I think PetSmart should look closer at who they associate with because although I know they are separate, I now have a bad taste for PetSmart. I will still shop there but will cringe every time I enter the doors....which may eventually make me go elsewhere. I hope others are smarter about reading these BEFORE they go - BE WARNED! I could have gone to my regular vet for a $35 exam and left with a $50 bill - meds and all! I learned my lesson with Banfield's "FREE" coupon! read more

Cannot recomend. Made an appt. to get my dog groomed and then took off work to go to the vet to obtain a "chill pill" for him so that both he and the groomer would have a better experience. My dog is quite nervous and doesn't really like to be groomed, so as a courtesy the the groomer I gave the vet prescribed medication to my dog before going to the appointment. Upon arrival I was told quite haughtily that they couldn't groom him if he was medicated. Seriously! At no time when I made the appointment was I told this! So now I've lost work time, paid for a vet visit, and have a dog that is medicated for no reason. Moral of the story: either don't tell them your dog is medicated or take the dog in w/out it and don't try to be courteous! The lame excuse for not grooming a medicated dog was that the dog might have a seizure. News flash: My dog would probably have a heart attack without it! read more
