Our Great Pyrenees, Gracie, is sweet as pie. However, she is a MASSIVE challenge to groom. Unfortunately, she was quite naughty; she escaped and went exploring in a swamp just before our scheduled groom appointment. Lucky for us, we booked Iris. Iris is truly is a Super Hero Groomer‼Despite Gracie being the most dirty she's ever gotten, Iris got her back to her glorious pre swamp condition. She was SO CLEAN it seemed like magic, but I KNOW it took a TREMENDOUS amount of hard work and dedication to get Gracie clean, floofy and cuddle ready again. We are so grateful to Iris, and we cannot wait to live closer to PetSuites Cumming, so we can book Iris more frequently (minus the swamp‼), so Gracie always looks this MAGNIFICENT. read more

I work as a therapist in the Atlanta area, which means I've developed a pretty solid sense for truth versus spin -- and this situation did not require much of a BS detector. I've also developed quite a bit of compassion for the human condition. Over time, I've come to believe that true compassion isn't just about extending empathy -- it also means speaking up and holding people accountable when harm is done. So, in light of that, here is my first negative review: We brought our maltipoo, Maximus, to Petsuites in Cumming for daycare since his regular place was closed. When my husband picked him up, he noticed Maximus's ears looked smaller and were wet, so he brushed it off. But once they dried, it was obvious: someone had badly and unevenly cut the hair off both ears. I called Petsuites right away. The managers had already left, but I spoke to two employees -- one of whom had been with Maximus outside -- who claimed that "a piece of matted hair the size of two fingers on his left ear fell off," and insisted "100% no one cut your dog's hair." I explained this didn't make sense (as the before-and-after photos clearly show), but they kept denying it. The next day, the manager, Kayla, called me. She said she reviewed video footage and saw another dog chewing on Maximus's ear, gnawing off some of the hair, supposedly explaining the missing hair. When I asked about the clearly trimmed and uneven appearance on both ears, she offered no explanation but maintained, "I am confident no one cut the hair off his ears." Pet parents deserve transparency. If they had called me from the beginning to report what happened and offered to fix it, that would have shown accountability. But instead, they tried to cover it up with a bad haircut, waited until we discovered the problem, and then denied it. That's extremely concerning. If they can hide something so obvious, it makes me wonder what else might be happening behind closed doors. Prior to posting this, I gave Petsuites Cumming a chance to fully own up to what happened, but that was days ago, and here we are. So, I'm leaving this review to warn others. Pet parents -- unless you want a bad haircut you never asked for (and questionable honesty on top of it), please consider taking your pets elsewhere. Petsuites, Cumming -- do better. read more

I've waited a bit to post this to see if I'd receive an appropriate response, but after waiting with no follow up call, I am sharing my negative experience so you can avoid the same. Our pup stayed at this location for over 2 weeks while we were out of the country on our honeymoon. While we were gone, we had issues that were mostly resolved, until we returned and saw the terrible condition our healthy pup was in. First, skip the pup-updates. They were not honest, didn't include any of his issues (diarrhea we had to ask about as it was not brought to our attention), over 10% weight loss, open wounds on his face, paws and side, a loud cough upon pickup, pink staining all over his once white fur that we still can't remove and have yet to get an explanation for (we were told the groomer didn't notice this or the wounds... clearly they were blind or lying). Additionally, when we picked up our pup there were no explanations for his condition, emails were ignored and the one call we did receive after days was full of "I don't knows" and promises of a follow up we didn't receive. Finally, we brought a nice blanket from home that's his favorite and it was lost without offer of compensation. He spent his last 5 days without his blanket, with a wet bed (it was still wet when it was returned) and no cot (which was payed for as part of the luxury suite). We will not be returning to this location as all trust has been lost and, while the 45$ groom was refunded, we are out 1,200 + dollars for a sick dog, poor communication and lost belongings. We hope to receive a more appropriate response in the near future to remedy these issues read more

We love PetSuites Cumming, because we know our dogs are being loved on and treated AMAZING. We have total peace of mind, and now we can even see our fur babies on the cameras to see they are doing great. Their grooming staff does an excellent job too. I highly recommend this resort. read more

I'm 37 years old. I have stage 4 cancer. These are the most hurtful, and deeply disturbing people I have ever encountered in a place of business. I moved to GA from Cali, needed to work until my disability benefits kicked in. PetSuites offers $99 New Dog special for the month. Amazing- how helpful for me. I had to interview all around Atlanta for months to find a full time job while being very sick. I had to go to different locations for different interview areas. Each different location mentioned all on their own that I get the $99 deal at any location because it's "new to try out". Awesome! Bridgette the "manager" saw that 3 locations offered that special and she went out of her way to FLAG MY ACCOUNT to the owner company of PetSuites and told them that I was FRAUDULENT! How is it MY fault that PetSuites offered me a special and I gladly went ahead and paid. This is Bridgette for you. And Kayla. And I'm suing for Harassment. The manager Bridgette is a piece of work. Kayla is an absolute monster who CANNOT BE TRUSTED WITH YOUR MONEY. Do not let that girl have your card info, unless you want unauthorized charges and even though it's all been documented- Bridgette will not do anything to help you. They're both angry at life and their gloomy careers. The other staff are actually great. I'll say that. read more

I know there's people who say they don't like this place. But my daughter's dog can't wait to get there each day. Our experience has been very good. When you choose a busy lifestyle or you have many things going on it is nice to have a place like this to trust for babies. read more

The Good: Nice facility and friendly staff. The Bad: Terrible communication and staff is very understaffed. If you love your dog, as I do mine, I would not recommend. We used this facility when our dog was a puppy. The first time was a pleasant experience and we received updates during the day of our pup's play. Second, third and fourth time we didn't receive any pics or communications, so not even sure if she was brought out for play. Fast forward to today and she was scheduled for an evaluation and play. My wife dropped her off first thing in the morning for the evaluation and play. We didn't hear anything from PetSuites, so assumed all was good. Then at 1:30 my wife received a message that our dog had failed evaluation and that she would only be receiving one on one play. When we picked up our dog in the afternoon we found out that the dog was never taken out of the crate - all day. read more

I was dreading finding a new boarding place for my dog as our last experience left him traumatized and stressed with colitis. I had read reviews of other PetSuites locations and decided to take a chance as I had a big trip coming up. I did visit beforehand to take a tour and was impressed with the size of the facility and the cleanliness. The staff have all been super sweet. I've boarded my dog 3x now and he's been happy and healthy each time I've picked him up. I get the kennel with TV and Gold package so I think all the extra walks and attention keeps his mind off being away from his Mommy. LOL! I took away a star for tech issues. The first time I boarded with PetSuites, I wasn't receiving the daily update photos because the system was down. I wasn't told until pickup that that was the issue. There have been other minor billing issues that aren't a huge deal but deserve to be mentioned. PetSuites will always be my choice for boarding. My baby dog likes it there and I no longer worry about anything happening to him. read more

My boxer went through evaluation on Monday and they communicated that all went well and he was able to go to group play. The staff has been so nice and helpful getting him engaged at Pet Suites Cumming. He needed to stay overnight the next night and I brought enough food for Evening and the next Morning. I did not pack food for evening dinner because I thought I would not be late but I hit traffic coming to pick him up. The staff text me to inquire about his dinner and told me that they had fed him a treat and gave him a bone and asked if I wanted him fed with their food. WOW! This is absolutely so kind and caring to be concerned about his dinner time. He was happy when I picked him up and really enjoys coming to this facility. Thank you so much for taking care of my doggie! I am very happy to have found such a wonderful place for my dog to play with other dogs while I am working! The hours are amazing, the facility smells clean, staff are friendly and Rambo loves it! Thank you SO much! read more

This place ROCKS. Seriously. Being the coupon-person that I am, we used a Groupon for another pet boarding place (which shall remain unnamed here). It was HORRIBLE. Located in a very tiny space in a strip mall, the owner/operator would not even let us see the facilities. (When we picked our dogs up from weekend-boarding, they were stressed out beyond belief because of the facilities and probably terrible experience). Conversely, Petsuites encourages you and invites you back to view all of the facilities, since they have nothing to hide. The play areas were spacious and monitored at all times. The dogs run and play and do all sorts of dog-appropriate shenanigans with tongues out and tails wagging. When we left our pooches, they even texted us pictures of our beloveds merely hours later showing big fat smiles on their faces. When we picked them up, they had all the windows open around the play area. We saw the doggies in action. We left them with medicines to administer our elderly shar-pei. When we picked them up, we noted the extreme care they took in their administration. They had each medicine in its own ziploc bag with individual instructions. When we picked them up, they were freshly bathed and I think they slept for 2 days. We have already put a deposit down for the next time we need to board them! read more

Where do I begin on this one? So, I was asked by my boyfriend to drop off his precious golden doodle at this place because he had to leave town on business unexpectedly. I took his dog and dropped him off for one overnight stay and I would pick him back up late afternoon the next day. His dog was excited to go as he has been here many times and loves it. We got checked in and went over the details for his stay. I then gave the employee the dog on his leash and his toy and off they went to the back. All good. Ok, so the next day about 4:00 I go to pick up his dog. I tell the two ladies working behind the desk that I am here to pick up the dog. I gave his name and they told me he was playing in the back and they would be right out with him. A few minutes later out comes the lady with my boyfriends dog. A big blond male golden doodle who is panting and happy to see me. I proceed to take the dog with his collar and leash on and his toy he had in his suite. I went out to my car opened the door he jumped in and we headed home. Half way home when stopped at a red light I turn around to check on the dog in the back seat and say hello. I then slide off my sunglasses to look at him. I look and say to myself, is that the right dog? Is this my boyfriends dog?? It looks just like him and he is comfortable with me like he always is but wait ......... something is off ?? I'm second guessing myself and drive on to the house. I'm thinking, of course it's him. He has on his collar and of course they gave me the right dog. We get to the house and go inside Everything seems normal and I'm thinking that he's just tired from being at daycare and maybe didn't sleep well ? I get his favorite treats out and ask him to sit which he did then to shake and he didn't ? He always does for treats ! I look at him and say to myself again this is NOT him ! This is the wrong dog!!!!!! I called Pet suites and tell them that they gave me the wrong dog!!!!! I ask them if there were two male blond golden doodles there at the same time today. They put me on hold to look. They come back and say that there were two there today. They ask me to send pics via text to them and I did. Now, in there defense and my own, these two dogs are spitting images of each other !! Very slight difference in the width of the bridge of the nose and very slight difference in their fur color. Slight. Soooooo they sent me home with someone else's dog!!! I was mortified! What in the heck are they doing giving me the wrong dog ? Why isn't there a system in place to safe guard against this as many dogs do look alike ! Apparently they take every dogs collar off to have play time so they don't get hurt ? They put a flimsy paper collar that they admitted always comes off and tears off easily . So they have no way to insure who any of the dogs are. I trusted them to bring me my boyfriends dog. Trusted them to know who he is and keep up with his identity while he was there. Unfortunately, I experienced the brutal outcome of their negligence. I'm sure the owner of the dog I walked out with would love to know. I asked them to be sure and make them aware of this incident. They need to know. This could very easily happen again. Pets are like children and you entrust a daycare with your treasured fur baby and this happens. I received a call from the manager the next morning. She was apologetic and comped his stay which was nothing in the scale of the situation. It wasn't about money. That was the last thing on our minds. I just hope they implement a better way of insuring the identity and safety of the pets they are entrusted with. Fingers crossed this doesn't happen to anyone else ! read more

The Good: Front office high school girls are very sweet. The bad: Manager is horrible and sadly afraid of dogs. Probably not the place to work. The manager nor the pet handlers do not know how to handle anxious dogs. If you work at a place that takes care of dogs, you probably should understand different temperaments and how to handle each situation. The manager only wants to handle sweet playful dogs. She doesn't know what to do with a sweet but anxious dog. How is she even a manager? She didnt even give my dog a chance because she was scared. Simply not well trained staff. This place is expensive, but clearly not using the money to train managers. Apparently there is a dog trainer on staff, why do they not train their staff. Also would be nice if they recommended a place that takes anxious dogs. I was stressed about where to board my dog. I'm sure they've turned many dogs away, but usually when a place can't help they make recommendations. Petsuites is so uninformed on where to go or what to do. They didn't care to help. Luckily Laurel Springs Animal Hospital, who is amazing, made a great Suggestion. Four Paws. Wow! I have to admit their staff just made the process of easing an anxious dog feel relaxed. they are compassionate and comforting to an owner who just wants the best for her dog. Unlike Petsuites. Not compassionate or comforting to anxious dogs or stressed out pet owners just want what's best for their dog. read more

This place has been wonderful for my dog! She's getting older and needs more attention while I'm at work, so I signed her up for day boarding. She loves going to doggy day care! Sarah, in particular, has been phenomenal! I was worried about my dog being around other dogs. Sarah asked if she could try her out and I'm glad I agreed. My baby now loves playtime! I also came in one day in a panic with a work issue and Sarah arranged things to help me out immediately. She definitely goes above and beyond, and I know as long as she's there, she'll look out for my baby. read more

Twice in one week they confirmed our dog for daycare, I showed up and they said they couldn't take her. Next, we confirmed for Saturday when we had an all day family trip. They called at 7:45, an hour before we were leaving saying they overbooked and can't take our dog. It was confirmed Thursday before we made our plans. AWFUL planning and communication on their part. I couldn't get into my regular groomer so tried the Pet Suites. I called ahead to find out what the cost would be to groom my dog. They asked several questions about my dog then quoted me a price with a $10 variation which is about what my regular groomer charges. Upon picking my dog up they had inflated the price of the basic grooming and charged additional fees because she had a mat. I told the girl at the register that I had called ahead and been given what my cost would be and she said, "Well it can depend on the temperament of your dog" Seriously??? They don't quote any of this up front and just up your bill at check out. read more
