*This is an updated review* Several months ago, I took a chance and booked Nash in for a few hours of daycare when we had to attend a funeral and had no other options for dog care. What a pleasant surprise! Upon check-in, the staff noticed that there was a flag on his file and told me that they were sorry for the problem we had on his previous stay. They assured me he would be well cared for, and they delivered! When I picked up Nash that night, he was happy and not traumatized in any way. Since then, Nash has become a "regular". I drop him there a few times a week for group play with the little dogs. He loves to go! The staff is friendly and they know him. We have also used them several times for boarding Nash and our two cats. What a difference a year makes! I'm glad I gave them a second chance. read more

From my own experiences using Pet Suites, I don't understand the previous experiences that others have written. My dog is a sweet dog but he's kind of complicated and the staff have always welcomed us. I always feel good about leaving my dog there. On a recent boarding visit, my dog became ill and the manager personally took my dog to the vet and has consistently communicated to me during each extended stay. Moreover, I talk to the other owners every time I am there and I've never heard anything negative from anyone else. I'm very happy to have Pet Suites nearby. So I don't know about the other reviews but I have always felt my dog has a good experience and usually seems pretty fired up to go to Pet Suites. read more

1st stay for my two dogs last September was very good. We needed to board them again so I took them back while we went on our trip. It was not the same experience. First they wanted a tip upfront before our dogs even got boarded, We sent enough food for both dogs for the days they stayed (5 days). The instructions given on feeding our dogs was not followed. They ran out of food 2 days before we were to pick them up, of course they charged $30.00 extra to use their food. When paying my final bill they wanted another TIP. My dogs smelled of urine, there blankets they slept on that were put into the bag with other items of there's were soaking wet of urine. My dogs are trained to potty outside only. I don't know what happened to them for that to even happen. The girl dog, you could feel her bones while patting her. The boy dog, lost weight also but not as much as the girl dog. Not sure what they did with all the food we sent, cause they were not fed. I hate to leave a bad review, but this was abuse of my dogs. I don't want others to go through this and to PAY A LOT of Money to them to abuse your animals like mine. I will be finding a new place. Beware!!! read more

We have a Great Pyrenees who is not very well adjusted to people he doesn't know. After being told not to bring him back to several local boarding places we tried PetSuites Hoover. I told them everything up front and his stay there went smoothly. They knew how to handle him and there were no incidents. The workers seemed to genuinely love him when I picked him up. They gave him a bath and he seemed happy. I recommend PetSuites Hoover to anyone looking for a great place to board their pups. read more

We tried PetSuites today for doggie daycare. Let's just say I picked him up and we aren't going back. Dropped him off at 7:30 to be evaluated. They were supposed to call by 11 to confirm he passed. No call and no one answered the phone. Multiple attempts. So I drove there to check. It was 12:30 and he was still 4th on the list to be evaluated. He sat in those tiny concrete cages for 5 hours doing nothing. I was going to leave him, but got to my car and had major anxiety. Went back in an got him. As soon as he came out of the building he rushed to poop. And then when we got home he chugged water. No idea what conditions his holding pen was, but assuming not great. The play area is like as big as my garage. There was a dog fight and the worker in there was just on her phone. She slowly got up and separated them. the barking was incessant. It was obvious that some dogs really disliked the daycare area and they had no way to escape. I couldn't leave my dog there. I will be looking for a better option that is responsive to new clients, timely and a bigger facility. read more

Okay so staff super friendly. But I left my Great Dane there from 7/10-7/15. We gave them 5 gallon sized bags full of her dog food, she gets 1 a day! Told them that and when we got her back she was skinnier than she was when I dropped her off. and had 4 gallon sized baggies left full of dog food. They did warn us about kennel cough going around and my Marlee caught it and they did what they said they would with that so I will give them the credit on that. read more

So, my first review was more on the positive side. I had left both of my boxer girls for about 6 hours for evaluation and then when they passed for some play time, around 2 hours of play time. We are putting our house on the market so it was a crazy day. We dropped them off and they were put in a kennel. That was around 10, and would be evaluated to see if they could go to free time. Around 12 we were told they passed. When my daughter-In-law and I arrived to pick them up after about 6 hours they were both sitting in the corner on elevated beds. Employee was sitting on the dog play equipment and not interacting with the dogs. The girls were exhausted when we brought them home. I now realized that was more from anxiety than activities. Today I had a photographer scheduled to take pics of our home. Unfortunately it was pouring down rain, so I decided to call PS to see if they could take them for a few hours. They we very helpful in accommodating me and said to bring them, Well, 1st when Molly and Jorgie realized where we were they did not want to get out of the car. I thought maybe it was due to the rain, but rain hasn't ever been a factor for them. I was finally able to get them inside. I hung out because of the rain and watched through the window. So here is what I saw. No interaction from the employee in the room. Employee wore a hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up and listening to music on her headphones. Occasionally, she would get up and walk around with a racquetball racquet to disrupt conflict. She sat on the equipment that is there for the dogs to play on, but she did not encourage this or pull the equipment out from the wall for them to play on. I was so hopeful that doggie daycare was going to be all it was built up to be, but no that is not the case. Dogs peeing on the floor, other dogs walking in in. No outside at all. They do have some friendly staff, but they need to be much more attentive in engaging they activity for the animals. Terribly disappointed. read more

Tried this place again because it's so convenient to us where we live and again absolute horrible service from the staff. Bright my dogs 2 summers ago for boarding and baths when we got back my dogs had not been fed the right dog food they had lost one of our dog beds. They even tried to bring us out the wrong dog and they weren't even given their bath. Such awful customer service. So today I wanted to see if they would be able to handle just giving my dogs a bath and upon arrival there was a problem. I had my vet send over there records and of course they didn't have them. Staff told me that neither one of my dogs could get bathed today because neither one of them was up to date on their flu vaccine. I wasn't given a first phone call to let me know that was the only thing holding us back. I was however sent a automated text message just letting me know that they would need my dogs vet records and I've sent them a text back saying that I had sent over their vet records. Please let me know if there's anything else I need to do. Did I hear back no I did not. I would not trust these people with my dogs. The two girls working upfront were so rude. I will absolutely never try to even call there number ever again. I hope that customers that have had good experiences here continue to be treated good and their animals as well. I just caution you before using these people to take care of your sweet fur baby. read more
