Ruff Love Dogs

Daycare here is one of my pups favorite things!…read more My pup went here for YEARS! We have since moved out of the area which is why he doesn't go now. There's an indoor and outdoor area which is nice so the facility can be flexible based on weather where the dogs play. This is not the frills, nap time required kind of vibe. It's an unassuming, barebones facility full of employees who just love dogs and dogs who love dogs. This was what worked for my pup- he doesn't care if it looks pretty to humans- he cares (and I care) how he's treated. And he was treated very well and would be jumping around in the parking lot as we would walk up because he was so excited. And the staff would be excited to see him as well. The cost is in line with other daycares in the area - buying a package will help the per day cost. For my pup - totally worth it.

I do not understand how there are so many good reviews for this place. I've been to other doggy…read moredaycare places (Stone Mountain), but Ruff Love was closer and more convenient, so I thought I'd give it a try. I went in today for an orientation and a walk through at about 10AM. IMO, there were way too many dogs in each area. The dog rooms are small and dimly lit, and all connected, so the atmosphere is very loud. I was shocked at how many large dogs were in such a small area. As we walked through with the staff, a fight broke out between two dogs. Others joined in because there was no where to go. One staff in the room for about 20-25 large dogs. No wonder. There is simply not enough room for the number and size of dogs in that space. I would never leave my dog there.

The front desk staff go the extra mile and speak with your vet to make sure the dogs have appropriate vaccinations and a clean bill of health. This saves the owners so much time, dealing with the back and forth. They are also so warm and caring the moment you walk in to drop off or pick up the pups as well! The live feed is amazing to look at so I know my pup is having fun and being a good boy! They also offer grooming and nail care that get can be done while they are there as well. It is an amazing service to have and they take such good care of all of the pups. I can't recommend Adogo Pet Hotel Ridgedale location enough!!

As an employee here, I would not recommend this place. There…read morehave been too many cases of dogs not being given prescribed anxiety medications & dogs that shouldn't get passed, making other dogs anxious & causing altercations. Staff stand around, not interacting with the dogs. Ops manager seems more concerned with putting up COLORING BOOK pictures on the door & in the hallway than working on the place or helping people work together. There aren't enough groomers & they aren't scheduled appropriately, so appointments that have been scheduled for weeks, even MONTHS in advance don't get done & Front Desk staff take the heat for it. Some owners have even given up end-of-stay grooming altogether because it doesn't get done.

I've taken my pup to quite a few doggy daycares/boarding and Camp Bow Wow EP is our favorite!…read more First day of daycare is FREE, so why not try it?! They have cameras in every room so you can always see what your pup is up to. They start with a slow introduction with dogs, slowly increasing the number in a room to ensure your dog is okay and not overwhelmed. They have a website for easy online booking or an app as well! I love the app as I waste away my afternoons watching the cameras to see her play! Staff has always been so great and my dog LOVES it here!! When you board, you can specify when and how much your dog eats. You can add on services such as one on one interaction time, snuggle, grooming, nail trim, etc! On your first day, you get a welcome packet and photos of their first day! Minnie and me love it here!

Total transparency: I haven't gotten any of their "dog salon" services... yet…read more A doggy daycare seemed like very extravagant extra spending to me until I got a very hyperactive puppy and our Minnesota winter happened. During the summer, spring, and fall she is a-okay because she's walked every single day - but when the walks are shorten because it's 10° we all know what happens. Cue: doggie daycare consideration. They seemed a little understaffed, but hey that's the new normal with COVID. What I can tell you is they average about three dollars an hour with me to take care of my puppy... the same price I'd pay a neighbor kid to walk them - but I get 8-10 HOURS of puppy free time. ... AND puppy is usually completely spent for 10-15 hours after I get her back. She knows exactly what / where Camp BW is and loses her stuff every time we pull up. So - for me five stars. Will update if I get wonky salon services. But for the most part the staff is courteous enough - the hours are right - and it seems to be priced okay. For now I will keep recommending (and budgeting for) CBW for my sanity in our cold MN winter months.

Tabatha answered all my questions and was very happy to take the time to make sure everything was taken care of. Cheryl was our cat's caregiver and I could not be more pleased with her services. She took the time to make sure Cosmo was eating OK and provided daily notes for her visits for us to read when we got back. Thank you for the excellent care of Cosmo, it was really a weight off my mind knowing that he was in your capable hands.

I can't say enough wonderful things about her service! Tabatha emailed us a note plus photos of our dogs each day she was at our house for pet visits. She also leaves you handwritten progress notes at your house on how your dog(s) did the day she was there. It was nice to be on the road for work yet be able to see that my dogs were such well-taken care of. Tabatha treats your pets like she would her own animals. I recommend Tabatha so highly that my dog groomer is actually going to pass out Rock Star Dog Walking & Pet Sitting business cards to her customers. As a registered nurse, I highly recommend Rock Star Dog Walking and Pet Sitting to anyone needing pet caretaker services.
