We liked to share our Bad Devastating experience we have with this boarding hotel (Pet Suits Hotel in Round Rock TX); we want to make sure you think about before you book this hotel for your pets. On December 29, we dropped off our 3 dogs Chihuahuas at this location (Chloe , Channel and Luna) , all in good health and physical condition. On December 31 afternoon, we received a call from the Hearth of Texas Veterinary Specialty hospital, and we were informed of the following: Quote : Chloe came into our hospital in a severe critical condition, and we have been performing CPR for 10 minutes. The doctor discussed that with CPR, there is only a small chance of getting dogs back , since she came in decease condition with a "too low" temperature and rigor mortis setting was concerned that the chances of getting her back from would be 0%. I get in shock asking myself why the Pets Hotel don't communicate to us this emergency. Immediately I tried to call the facility a couple of times with no respond, we texted them to call us, and we did not get any respond back until we received a call after couple of hours from the general manager informing us what we already knew, he told us that our Chloe had died. This person never gave us clear information about what had happened with our Chloe. We asked him several times what happened with Chloe and his response was: I don't know exactly what happened, because I wasn't there and point out that one employee called him and found the other 2 siblings licking or attacking her on the floor. I asked the manager specifically if he know for sure the other siblings attached Chloe and he respond don't know, I again ask if Chloe has some blood or any signal of being attacked and he respond with no exact answers. He asks me if Chloe have or suffer from any health conditions, and he recommend us to do a Necropsy to find out the cause of death . At that time Because he couldn't handle the information responsibly. We had to live that anguish of not knowing exactly what happened, until we returned on January 2nd. That day we went to the Hospital and the Vet explain us in detail and show us very graphic pictures she takes on Chloe's death body when came to the ER had been attacked to death by our other dogs. Is unacceptable that they kept us in a situation without knowing of what happened to our Chloe. According to the Pet suits employee who took Chloe to the Hospital told the Vet. That was found the two siblings dogs charging and attacking her lifeless body. How is it possible that the General Manager who called us from the hotel did not know that she had happened to her under the Pet suits WATCH That's what we paid for some one take care of our pets when we want to enjoy traveling in the holydays or any other vacations. More about this situation that could be prevented if they have a better supervision of all boarding dogs and the fact that is no way in an emergency, they can have on place an effective protocol that could save our dog life and we don't need to pass to this heart-breaking devastating situation we don't what anyone Dog and Family passing to this horrible situation. On addition of this situation, we received one of our other dogs very sick from this boarding facility and need to bring her to the ER for emergency treatment to be in a stable condition. Next time we need to bring our dogs to a boarding facility will be to another facility for sure and follow up our pets are doing good and being taking care in a safety matter the life of a Dog that is like a Child for the ones to have the blessing honor to have them. read more

I do like this facility. My dog, enjoys coming here. The only issue I have is the lack of communication. On our first day, the front desk person told me that in order for him to be able to participate in DayPlay, he'd have to go through an evaluation and that they'll send me photos and updates if he passed or not. I didn't receive anything. When I went to pick him up, the front desk couldn't even tell me how he did. I had to text their text line to follow up to see if he passed and I finally received a text and pictures of him. We stopped going for a little bit, but we just starting going in for DayPlay again. He was pretty anxious when I dropped him off, so I gave it a couple of hours and texted the text line to see how he was doing, but I only got a text from their groomers asking if I wanted to add services. I repeated my question and never received a text back. So that was kind of disappointing. I definitely wish that they had public webcams available like other locations do, but you can only hope. read more

It's been close to 3 months since the first time I brought my dog, Mocha, to PetSuites. We had a horrible experience with a different Pet boarding/daycare place and I was nervous about writing a review. BUT I can definitely say that, PetSuites Round Rock is AMAZING! We first used them for boarding and it was such a good experience. They gave us a cute report card and she was so happy. The only thing I wish was different is that I wish they gave more report cards bc it was so cute!! I absolutely love the fact that their play areas and rest/eat areas are separated especially because my girl is food aggressive. I obviously don't know what goes on throughout the day but I do know that when I pick her up everyday she's happy and just sleeps the rest of the evening. I love that she's able to have fun playing with other dogs but then also gets her own individual playtime later. It's also my favorite thing, how just about every employee loves my girl and they always want to love on her. Even once we can train our girl to be able to be home alone, we will still send her once a week and will definitely utilize them for boarding. I would definitely recommend PetSuites to anyone who needs boarding or daycare! read more

I wanted to review Pet Suites in Round Rock, TX to convey to the Yelp community my experience and convey what a great experience I had. I have a 7-year-old 100 pound arthritic Pit Bull who has never been around other dogs much. She is dog friendly and a true sweetheart of an animal. I arranged to have her stay the day and get involved in the group play. I was impressed that they evaluated my dog prior to introducing her to the group by exposing her to different energy dogs in a one on one environment. Everything went very well and she played and had fun with no drama. At the end of the day, I got a customized report card on her performance which was a nice touch. I will be back often. Took my Goldendoodle puppy here for his first full grooming and could not be more pleased. The facilities are clean, staff is friendly and helpful and my pup came back looking incredible. Taylor was our groomer and was fantastic. She texted me multiple updates to let me know how my puppy was doing, which I appreciated since it was his first groom. I can't say a single bad thing about PetSuites, Round Rock, at 1401 Louis Henna Blvd., Round Rock, TX 78664. My cats mean the world to me. I've never had to drop them off somewhere until now. I had checked out many boarding places and I liked this place most. Though I always wish they're bigger, I liked the size of the cat condos, the ventilation, the light, the shade, the windows, music, and TVs. But still, I felt like a terrible person leaving my cats here. I was so worried about them. And I was having massive separation anxiety. Cara is the person at PetSuites who signed me up and she is the one I remember talking with most throughout my cats' stay at PetSuites. Her knowledge and awareness of my cats' day-to-day well being made me feel much better. I left my cats for 3 days. But I was a handful. I came in to check on my cats daily or I called. I would ask Cara how they are doing either in person or over the phone. Right of the top Cara always knew exactly how my cats were doing. I appreciated that. I was impressed that she always knew. Also I could text and ask anytime, and I paid for the Golden package where I can get 1 pic of my cats daily. I was supposed to leave my cats here for a whole month because I'm staying with my sister who's allergic to cats. I couldn't last a whole month though. My cats were still adjusting as was I, and I couldn't bear it anymore. I negotiated with Extended Stay America, got a comparable rate, and moved into ESA 3 days later with my cats LOL! However, on the very moment that I came to pick up my cats, I noticed that they were very well cared for and always had been very safe. The staff was so gentle with my cats. They'd walk in slowly, open the cage slowly, and talk to them very slowly the entire 3 days that my cats were there. The staff would never make sudden moves or walk into the cat area brashly. When handling my cats, the staff would always let my cats decide to make the first move. And when they picked up my cats, it was all done so, so gently. My cats were very well cared for. Now I'm with my cats again. I went through all their stuff to put it away and I noticed how lovingly and nicely PetSuites marked up all my cats' food. PetSuites divided all the food into measured ziplock bags and marked each bag with my cats names and instructions. All of my cats' food and belongings were kept organized, safe, with love, and returned to me without a single missing item or hectic element. Going through my cats' stuff at home made me feel my cats were truly in a safe place. I hope I never have to consider long-term boarding again. But I'm going to begin regular crate training and car training so that my cats will be more relaxed next time they have to journey again. I am also going to consider leaving my cats overnight at PetSuites from time to time so that my cats can be less sensitive and adjust faster when I need to go away for a few days on vacation or something. Basically, I want my cats to know it's all gonna be ok. I have to give a major shout out to the staff at PetSuites. I don't remember all their names. They were all polite, majorly professional, nice, and never rude. There was a young lady at the end handling my cats and giving me their stuff, she had long, curly, red hair, and she was an AWESOME 2nd cat mom to my cats. Thank you so much PetSuites for taking good care of my 2 cats and for helping this very scared, nervous, and frightened cat mom see that it can be ok to leave her cats with you . I took my miniature poodle for a short stay while I was out of town. It was his first time boarding and away from home. He's only 11 months old. They did a great job with him. He was very happy to see me, but I could tell they had taken really good care of him. I wish they had a video cam option, but other than that, I would highly recommend them. I'm also considering using them for grooming. I currently take him to a place by appointment and they call me within an hour when he's done so he doesn't stay in a kennel for too long. He's my little fur baby and I'm very particular who takes care of him. Pet suites did a fantastic boarding job! read more

My dog Basil has been going to PetSuites Weekly since I began working at home in March 2020. I'm so glad I found this facility. I did a visit and was so impressed with the cleanliness of the facility, the friendly staff, the indoor/outdoor play areas they were all outstanding. I also like the fact that they offer baths, nail clipping, etc. so I can get that done while she's a day camp. Basil enjoyed other day camp facilities, but she never showed the excitement she shows when I turn into the parking lot of PetSuites! She has the total butt wiggle, happy dance in the back seat going on. They made it easy during the Pandemic by offering curbside service, which helps out too. Basil can be very shy and timid (according to report cards from numerous facilities), but here the staff has taken the time to allow her to play with the dogs she's comfortable with 20-40 pound dogs, when she becomes overwhelmed by the bigger dogs (Basil is 50#). I love that they recognize that need. The fees are comparable to other facilities in the area, so finding the best fit is the key. Well worth checking out, I don't think you'll be disappointed. read more
