Alex was friendly, helpful, and so thorough to find the PERFECT fit. I felt that it didn't matter to him if I bought new boots today... but rather, it was important to him that I find the right pair. Quality boots are not disposable! They are a LONG TERM purchase! He made sure that I was informed and satisfied if I did choose to buy a pair! I eventually decided on a special order boot. They arrived fast. Within a week. I stopped by the store yesterday to pick up my order. I expected to run in and out. NOPE. Cory made sure that everything fit great, insoles adjusted, and laces perfect! It was GREAT! I never once felt rushed. Cory was attentive and thorough as he made sure everything was great. He just had to get the shoes he wanted from here. As soon as we came and he started talking with the staff and they helped him get exactly what he wanted. They asked me if I wanted anything as well but I wasn't looking. I live in San Antonio so I can come back. I'm sure I will come back The shoes here are super well done and the staff was nice. Shoes can be a little pricey. This isn't a thrift store so you can be sure that these shoes are on top of the line.

I have been here multiple times and found it to be the same each and every time. For my experience, that is not a good thing. I try to walk 6-8 miles every day. In doing that, shoes wear out rather frequently. That's what brought me to Academy this trip. Driving up, finding a parking spot is easy as they have a huge parking area. Walking in, nobody to greet you or direct you to wherever you need to go. Looking around, I saw very few employees or customers. I knew where the shoes were located and walked straight back to the shoe area. Once in the area, i searched for the brand I was wanting and found that area. They had a handful of the brand on display. I saw what I was looking for and then tried to find them on the shelf. As has been my past experience in this store, that was the issue. They only had 4 boxes of the shoe I wanted. That includes all colors and all sizes - just 4. Of course, they didn't have my size. Will I return? I like Academy, but each time I have visited this particular store, I have walked out empty handed as the store is out of stock. I would love to see this store run as well as their other stores in San Antonio, but I'm just about to the point of not even looking in this 1 particular store.

I've had him to staff shirts, pup tanks, and workout gear for myself and the design and print work is always spot on. He even went out of his way to find out a different technique to print on compression gear, which need to withstand lots of stretching. I wear this stuff to obstacle course races and tough workouts and they hold up amazingly well. I highly recommend using this shop for all your needs. I've consigned at Wee World several times, and shop there constantly. It's great because you never know what treasures you'll uncover. As a reward, I'll allow my children to pick a special "treat" at Wee World (usually a book or small toy). They love it and I love it because I don't spend any money...I just deduct the cost from my consignment monies. Since my daughter is at that age where she wants to pick out her own clothes (and most of the time doesn't like what I pick out), I can take her into Wee World and let her pick out a new dress or outfit and not feel guilty that I'm going to break the bank...and there's the added bonus of knowing she's actually going to wear the clothes since she picked them out. My children (ages 4 & 2) also love playing together in the Wee Play Travelers area - there's so much to do they would spend hours there if I'd let them.
