Great food truck!! Our favorite is their carne asada taco and an occasional carnitas taco! Yes, it's a double tortilla taco like most but the inside tortilla is a little crunchy and I love that I normally order pick-up with DoorDash and the service is impeccable ! We've also visited them while at The Tarmac and ordered at their window and that is just as quick and delicious but with a place to chill while you wait! Good food, good peeps, good vibes. We ordered a carne asada burrito since they sold out of birria and 3 carnitas tacos. The burrito has huge pieces of steak that is so chewy and along with the carnitas tacos were extremely underwhelming. If you're going to charge 33 dollars with payment of card for 1 Burrito and 3 tacos the quality should be amazing. The birria was sold out maybe that's better but I'm extremely disappointed we decided to try this place. I would definitely go elsewhere; I can't recommend this place to anyone good luck. read more

I really enjoyed the Steak Nachos and the Al Pastor Tacos. The steak was delicious, added a lot of flavor and left me wanting more. The tacos were also delicious, they were very filling, and came with avocado and nachos on the side. The tortillas were tick and had a unique taste to them. The reason for the 4 star is due to the Quesabirria and the consomé. I didn't enjoy the consomé at all. And the quesabirrias were ok at most. Wish they had tasted better, that's the main reason I came to their food truck. The service was good, the employee made conversation and helped with some food choices. Oh my goodness. Delicious! I am in heaven, and really full. We're just passing through and really disappointed this isn't local to us. We got an Al pastor taco, steak taco, and carnitas burrito. It was all delicious. The carnitas burrito was perfect. So juicy! And the tortillas for the tacos, again perfection. The generous portion of avocado was really great. As a Mexican who loves my mom's home cooked food, I am always hesitant to eat out from Mexican restaurants. I've had too many experiences with ordering a burrito only to taste canned refried beans, flavorless meat, and watered down salsa. Let me tell you I was so pleasantly surprised and excited when I took my first bite of the grilled chicken burrito I ordered here. The frijoles de la olla were so fresh and flavorful (reminded me of my mom's), the rice was yummy, the chicken was delicious, and the salsa verde and fresh avocado!?? So freaking good and the burrito was big AF! The cashier said they make everything from scratch and you can tell! I never leave reviews, but I feel like when a Mexican food truck takes the time to make everything from scratch they deserve to be recognized for it. read more

What's in this photo? A disgrace. The meat is cut super thick and the cheese is gross. They didn't add anything to it, not even salsa. This is probably the worst quesadilla i've had. I thought it would be the white cheese but it was this greasy cheese. I was super hungry and this just disappointed me so much. This was my second time ordering from the Phantoms Food Truck. The first time I ordered a carne asada burrito, it was huge and absolutely amazing. The second time I ordered a grilled chicken burrito. They didn't add any rice, there were huge clumps of cheese everywhere and everything was not evenly distributed. The workers are super friendly and there food is filled with so much flavor as well as being fast. They even give you a beaper device to let you know when your food is ready which is convenient and you don't have to wait right next to the truck while waiting for your food. read more
