Randomly took my mom here because she wanted a perm and haircut. I ended up getting a trim while waiting and it was the worst hair salon experience of our lives. First, half of the salon was blocked off and looked like it was used for storage or trash. Next, there were 3 people working there including the owner when we went. Two worked on hair while the third did nails. They did so many things wrong but the worst was the level of grossness when the OWNER grabbed DIRTY, USED paper to wrap my mom's hair while she was getting a perm. The lady literally saved the old squared papers from past customers in a plastic bag and took it out to perm my mom's hair! What the fuck???? You could see it all crumbled up in the bag. On top of that, my trim was horrible and took multiple tries and way too long for how simple the task was. The whole time she tried to convince me to dye my hair. She gave me a ridiculous price and kept lowering it when I declined. Super annoying. Also, the person doing nails just had her client sit on a chair in the waiting area (next to me) and had her soak her feet in a random tub on the floor while it was swishing around. Imagine minding your own business and then having someone's nasty bare feet splashing right next to you. It was the most unsanitary place I've encountered in a long time. This is not Vietnam. That shit is not acceptable here. Where do I go to report this? The salon is dirtier than the bathroom. The sad part is that she kept complimenting herself saying everything looks great. It couldn't have been further from the truth. My mom gave her a picture for her haircut and it did not look right when the lady was done. My mom even pointed it out but she just argued. $7 mani, $10 pedi. You get what you pay for. Since I had some time to kill before me reflexology appointment, I went in to get my mani/pedi. I was surprised at the low prices but quickly understood why: *Old fashioned way for pedi with a bucket of water covered with a plastic bag. They do have a spa pedicure chair sitting in the corner but it's $5 more. *They don't really wash your feet, apply lotion, scrub or anything. They just do your cuticles and apply polish. They cut your nails with the cuticle remover, not the nail clipper. That's why the nails end up uneven *Nail polish selection is very small. They have the polish inside a portable plastic caddy. Most are unknown brands. When you shake them you can tell the polish has acetone or something added as they're very watery. As they they were doing my nails right above my feet, all the cuticle etc was falling in my water bucket, gross Needless to say, the polish looks sloppy and the nails still show the cuticles etc The lady tried to be nice but she clearly didn't seem to enjoy her work. I do have to admit she offered to add glitter to all my nails even though I only wanted it in one nail, at no extra charge. The store is kinda messy and looks unsanitary. Not worth the cheap prices. We always call ahead of time to make a reservation, and she's prompt and efficient. Always respectful of our reservation time, but we also understand she accommodates walk-ins too. It's good for her business! She always remembers how we like our haircut and I never have to say anything. She's very meticulous and always notices the subtle details that need adjustments, without me having to say anything. This salon, Cathy in particular, deserves every one of the 5 stars in this review! I am still here currently and it is 9:30 at night, an hour and a half AFTER closing, and she is still here as she finishes my haircut and nails. I called her at about 7:45, 15 minutes before closing, asking if she would be able to cut my hair still, because it wouldn't take long, she said "yes, yes, don't worry and don't rush, just drive safe" Then upon my arrival i realized this was both a nail and a hair salon, i asked if it was at all possible to do a full set acrylic on me but if not i could come back another time, she agreed without hesitation and, so far, she has done an incredible job on my nails. I came for a hair cut and the barber who was also the owner insisted me to dye my hair. They used cheap stuff so after just two minutes my head felt itched. I clearly asked the owner to rinse my hair but she pushed me to wait for a few more minutes and she said "That's normal". I told her that she forgot to test the hair color on my skin and she responded that wasn't necessary. Finally I had to stand up and asked her to rinse my hair immediately. She used shampoo to wash my colored hair and still telling me everything was fine. Their dye hurts like rubbing alcohol. The FDA banned many cancer causing hair colors. Luckily I did not have any allergic reaction after I went home but I will never come back to this place again. read more

I have also gotten the oil treatment and it only lasts about 3 week. =( but I love they way Cathy cuts my hair. She is fast an efficient and ALWAYS does a good job. Sometimes when it gets really busy she helps other customers and leaves me kinda hanging but for $16 for a short hair cut I can't complain. This is for hair wash and style!! I love this place. DO NOT COME IN FOR ANYTHING. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. They all talk bad about every client, their work quality is very poor and that place is filthy. My two daughters went in for a new nail set and the results were: un even cuts, un even nail color (missing parts), thick coat of acrylic. They are old school, they do not have the proper chairs or tables. They were working on my daughter's laps, using uncleared tools. They are working while on the phone. I agreed that Cathy is very experienced. She is the only one who can cut my thin pointy hair right. If you know the style you want her to cut, Cathy will cut it the way you want it.
