She took the buzzer and cut my daughter's hair and then charged her $16. $16 was supposed to be the price of a haircut. Washed, trim, and blown dried. I called and they told me Thats what included. Yet my daughter for butchered for the same price. Took a picture of the lady that did it. Sent to the manager and he did nothing. This place is like a swap meet market. I came in with my autistic niece to get my hair done. While waiting, my niece sat quietly and kindly greeted everyone who passed by. When another customer entered and my niece said hello, the stylist in the second chair immediately told the customer to stay away from her, saying she was "abnormal" and "sick." Hearing someone speak that way about my sweet niece broke my heart. The stylist's words were shockingly rude and hurtful. This review is just for the men's haircut. At $8 for a no-frill haircut in 2025 is hard to find in California, much less in Orange County. Service might vary from person to person, but I have had pretty good service from different salon workers. The place is pretty busy on a weekend, and parking can be a challenge but not too difficult. I got my blonde highlights here back in January and I got a guy worker. Originally I got my hair washed and the guy worker ask me if I wanted highlights and I said sure and he charge me $60 not just that he added bleach in the blonde that made my hair damaged. I do not recommend going to this place for highlights or hair wash. They need to train there staff better and also the worker didn't tell me there was gonna be bleach in it or not. The only thing I have to highlight was waiting for her but I think it makes sense because she is really meticulous and detailed. This place is very unprofessional. I'm not sure how it has this many good ratings. The lady named Thanh had an appointment with a friend at 1:30 PM. We came in, and she said it would be another hour because she had two more customers. It doesn't make sense when you have an appointment scheduled. After an hour, we came in, and she said she had two more customers to attend to. I had work soon and told her that, and she replied you can wait if you want. I've NEVER, and I really mean NEVER left a bad review for a place in my whole life no matter how bad the experience was. Until now that is. Honestly, I should've expected this outcome to happen when I heard the pricing, but I heard from word of mouth from my family that this place was great. So I gave it a chance, my mistake. The salon lady, I have no qualms with, she was very nice. But that's where the good things end with this place. I came in for a perm, and when I came out, I looked like if Albert Einstein came back to life after being struck by lightning. The hair I grew out for about a year, trashed, in three hours. I should've been suspicious when I noticed that it was already taking longer than the usual salon I go to. I like getting things done like dyeing or perming my hair. Let me say, I in all my years of doing things like this to my hair, have never seen it become damaged like this right after the treatment happened. But, another mistake I made, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and hoped that the hair would just magically look better after a couple weeks, kinda like wearing in a new pair of shoes or something. Nope. My hair has never been damaged like this before, and even with hair masks and other hair treatment products being used weekly over the span of a month, I could not heal the massacre that is my hair. PLEASE, LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES!!! Do not come here unless you wanna throw away your current hairstyle and just buzz it off like I did after spending more money trying to treat it than I did on the perm. I've learned my lesson, nothing good in the world comes for cheap. If you have more than a few bucks, don't bother with coming to this place and just spend a little bit extra to get significantly more from what you're paying for. For those of you who can only afford places this cheap, a word of advice, just cut or treat your own hair at this point. I say this as someone who cuts my own hair regularly, it is significantly better than if you were to come here. One final cherry on top, I saw another lost soul enter the salon a bit after me, he also asked for a perm. I should've stopped him, now there are two victims. I'll give the salon their props at least! They are consistent, consistently bad that is! Final warning, take my sacrifice and just choose to go somewhere else if you are a newcomer, there are significantly better salons around the same price range or just a little bit more expensive but believe me, every dollar extra you spend compared to here pays off its worth exponentially. read more

Prior to the appointment, I had sent her pictures of how light I wanted my hair to be and what my hair looked like at that time. When I came into the appointment, she looked at my hair and told me she didn't want to ruin the integrity of it since my hair would have a lot of breakage. She recommended I go just a few shades lighter overall and I did just that :) I appreciate her honesty & love for hair to achieve beauty yet maintain it's health! I came here to get quick hair cut and person who cut my hair couldnt even cut in straight line to even it out. I told her that my hair is uneven from the back side bottom but she insisted on telling me that I promise your hair is even. After I got back home I fix my hair on my own to make it even length. Came in to color my hair. And it turned out terrible. They LIED and told me the whole procedure is 2 hours but ended up 4.5 hours. He used too much bleach. Damaged my hair. :( . While doing my hair, the guy spoke on the phone, asked me to wait and wait . He then did other people's hair and let me wait longer and longer... very unprofessional. Almost every bad experiences from other low Yelp reviews of this place I 've experienced.
