My friends and I visited last night and we ordered to-go via kiosk. Our food was ready fairly quickly. I got a combination pho, which included two types of sliced meat (raw), tendon, tripe, meatball. Despite the drive home, the broth remained hot. Hoisin and sriracha packets were included, and there were plenty of bean sprouts. I do wish my basil leaves were more fresh though. I stopped here for lunch and bypassed the usual Vietnamese offerings and ordered Pad Thai with chicken ($15). All the right stuff was there but the sauce was very bland which made the entire meal bland. I ended up putting some sriracha sauce on everything to give it some flavor. I would like to go back and try some of their Vietnamese dishes but I would NEVER get the Pad Thai again. The restaurant itself is in a small strip mall near a big Meijer's store. It has a nice interior with a few big screen TV's but otherwise the decor is modest. They have both table and booth seating. There's a full bar and parking is free in the strip mall lot. Our server was super friendly and walked us through the menu and his recommendations since we were first timers. I had the chicken vermicelli and daughter went for the meatball pho. She loved her pho, served piping hot and flavorful with just the right amount of noodles. I liked my vermicelli salad and the spring roll that came with it. There were two servers working. Two large parties came in -- 10 people each -- right after us, so I think that distracted the servers from our delivering our food. They give quite a bit of meat with the pho too, always a plus. The portions are quite big. I've never seen a bowl so large for pho haha. My boyfriend's family are big eaters so they all get large, but I stick to the small, which is the perfect amount for me. (I got the P2. Pho Tai). I also got the Thai red milk tea, not overly sweet but still on the sweeter side. Not sure if it was because we went a little later, but food was slower to come out, compared to the places I usually go to in LA (which is where I'm from). Got to try this pho spot in West Chester. The top is the Combination Beef Pho and the bottom is the Rare Steak and Brisket Pho. Both were very flavorful and portions were great especially for dinner pricing. The inside is actually pretty big with plenty of seating and nice decor. Tried this place for the first time by myself. Ordered the crawfish and crab legs (came with corn and sausage) for $42. Only one couple there eating. I sat at the bar to keep social distancing and have my own space. No employees were wearing masks. I almost left as I believe in science and the virus but I kept my distance, made sure everything was cleaned and always have Purell with me. Anyway, seafood was very good quality. I ordered the house seasoned XHot. Spicy level was perfect for me (could be a little more spice but was good). Next time I'd ask for a lot less butter in it. Not sure if I'll go back until after Covid is done next year. So many other places around that follow state guidelines. Would have given a higher rating if they followed safety rules. read more
