I love the concept of the Phenix Salon Suites in Palladio! I think it's nice that salon owners don't have to rent out a huge space to conduct their business and it's kind of cute walking by and seeing such different layouts in each suite. If you've never seen a salon suite before, it's basically a long hallway of rooms - each room is a salon owned by a different person who rents it. So each salon offers different services and has a unique layout of its own. Services include waxing, haircuts, tanning, and more, all under the same roof. Very interesting concept! The rooms themselves are small, usually there's only one or two hairdresser chairs inside and it's mostly by appointment only. The hallway at Palladio is U-Shaped - there's only one entrance and it's locked at all times. There are around 20 salons in there and you can get in touch with them by entering their suite number on a keypad to your right, when you walk up to the door. They will unlock the door for you to enter - then you get to navigate through the hallway to find their salon door. I mainly come here for High Tide Salon. Lauren, the owner, does my eyebrows and also offers hair and tanning services as well. I found it a little difficult to remember/figure out her suite number through the little keypad in the front the first time I went, the directory on the machine is a little annoying to go through, but otherwise I found it pretty easy to go in and out of the salon suites and the service at High Tide is always great! Great concept, I will definitely check out more the salons in here in the future. read more

I'm new to the area and needed to find someone to do my color touch up and cut. My last hair girl did my hair for 24 years and so I was really afraid to try someone new. Tammie got me in within a couple of weeks of when I called for an appointment, and I couldn't be happier! She matched my color perfectly and listened to me when I explained how I wanted her to cut it. She did an awesome job!! read more

Tammie's Hair Studio My daughter recently had her hair cut and highlighted by Tammie. I purchased the service through groupon, and am so glad I did because I would be even more angry if I paid full price! She was rude, belittling and didn't even do a great job. My daughter (15) has gorgeous hair, and she left with 3 inches less, and the highlights look like the natural ones she came in with. Disappointing to say the least. I would not recommend Tammie at any price. read more

This review is for Jayla Stout at Namiko Salon--Jayla specializes in blonde hues and I absolutely adore her! I used to see her at her former salon and she was completely honest with the process to transition from boxed dye (red and dark brown) to blonde. It took 3 sessions but she took her time and I appreciated her honesty throughout each session. I ended up wanting to put some more low lights/brunette hues in for Fall and she did not fail me. I really appreciate that she listens to my requests but at the same time is able to suggest alternatives. She is just the sweetest and truly cares about her clients. It is so hard to find a genuine/reputable hairstylist and I am so grateful I found her. She is the best! read more

I love this salon! Each suite has its own little design and it's seriously the cutest. I highly recommend going to Lauren Barber! I have been her client for months now and I couldn't be happier with my results each time I leave the salon! I get my arms, eyebrows, and brazilian waxed and have never had a single complaint. Each time I get my eyebrows done I always look in the mirror and say "Yay!" because they turn out so, so good. Lauren is so friendly and sweet and has some great little deals going on right now! I loved coming to Lauren to get my brazilian waxing done. I'm usually very skeptical when it comes to skin care but I was not disappointed and I think Lauren set my bar for future estheticians that I go to. I came only to her through a mutual friends recommendation, up until I moved out of the area. Lauren knows what she's doing and she's super cool during the appointment, always talking with me and keeping my mind off the pain, fast, and clean. Very nice comfy little corner at the salon. Honestly If I could rate no stars for Tammies Hair Salon I would. First of all, she was rude to me from the second I walked in. Then when I told her what color i wanted, she refused to do it because she said she did not have time (even though i had a paid appointment). My mom got a groupon for full highlights, cut, and deep condition. When she asked how i wanted my hair cut. I said absolutely no more than 1 inch off. and she goes and cuts off 4 INCHES OFF even when I told her not to. And she was very unprofessional because she was eating and peeling oranges while she was deep conditioning my hair. Due to her not being able to do the highlights i wanted, we only did the cut and deep condition. So when we asked for a refund for the full highlights part (since she DID NOT DO IT) she refused and continued to be rude to me and my mother. She has no idea what she's doing. I don't know why people go to her. 0 stars for me and would not recommend anybody. read more

Okay so I came here to get my hair colored by Tammy a week before my wedding. my roots are dark brown and the rest of my hair is light brown. I came in to fix my roots and dye my hair all light brown, even showed her a picture. So she starts telling me that I cant get my hair much lighter than what it was without bleaching it, so I told her okay, im not looking to bleach my hair so just go as light as you can without having to bleach it. She told me it was probably only going to get a shade or two lighter and I was okay with that. After she applies the color and starts washing it out she says she's going to use some other product on me that she normally charges for but it would be free for me because I had something called "hot roots" and she wanted to fix it.... I couldn't see anything yet but im thinking to myself its going to be fine just trust her, having no idea what hot roots meant...I got up to go sit back into the chair and looked into the mirror and my roots were ORANGE/RED!!! I freaked out immediately and said omg my roots are red. Her response was "no its not its a very pretty color, see this is why you shouldn't come in a week before your wedding to get your hair done because when things go wrong you have to give your self time to fix it" Im sorry that I didn't count on you messing up my hair and didn't give it more time. She not only messed up my hair right before my wedding but was so rude about it, saying my expectations were too much from the beginning and she should have charged me more......AFTER SHES DONE WITH EVERYTHING! I asked her to fix it for me she said she would charge me full price to do that. Are you kidding? you turned my hair orange and you want to charge me to fix it? Save your hair and go to someone else!! read more

I purchased a Groupon for haircut and partial highlights with her since she had appointment availability listed including Saturday hours. When I called to make the Saturday appointment, she very rudely said, "Oh, I don't do highlights on Saturday." What! That is ridiculous! When I asked her why, she abruptly said "That's my policy." This was not stated anywhere in the information provided, very deceiving. So, she has a Groupon available, but doesn't know anything about it. I asked about getting a refund, and she knew nothing. I am so glad I didn't go to her, she was the most rude, unfriendly, unhelpful, and unaccommodating person I ever dealt with. Nobody wants to trust someone like that with their hair or give them their business at all! BTW, you CAN get a refund on your Groupon in the first 3 days after purchase. read more
