I wish I could give Phil -5. I have provided him with a list of thinks that I needed to be done and he estimated less than half a day. Because he gets paid by the hour he stretched the time . After 7 hours he has not completed the job, he left everything claiming he needs to go to pick up someone. He came two days after and he did more work in 2 hours than what he accomplished in 7 hours. Honestly, we've hired a few contractors and handymen but Phil's work ethic, amazing array of skills and perfectionism are the finest we've ever seen. He arrived wearing a mask and looking sharp as a tack. Within 3 days he expertly and efficiently assembled FOUR large pieces of furniture with many parts (I was astonished), he changed hinges on 3 doors, fixed a kitchen light that I had been told by previous person couldn't be fixed, hung about 6 paintings, installed a light fixture in a shower, installed Light switch in a closet., and installed a new visor in our car. My cabinets needed pulls and knobs. I asked Phil if he could in the pulls and knobs properly. He assured me he had template. I asked a number of times not to put in extra holes. Well he did not follow template correctly. He put extra holes in 10 cabinets. If he had checked the very first one, he would have seen it did not fit which unfortunately he did not even check. He could not fix the extra holes. I asked 8 other handyman to fix and unfortunately the holes cannot be fixed. I need to resurface or reface cabinets for $8,000.
