Dr Koch is very efficient and knowledgeable The customer service sucks, the "call ahead to see if your appointment is on schedule " is worthless. There seems to be no communication between the staff and the doctor and NO communication from the staff to the patients concerning delays and wait time. 1st visit was over 2 hours waiting 2nd visit almost 3 hours 3rd visit fo follow up was 2 and 1/2 waiting. read more

I had a terrible experience at this office. I went to get an estimate for an implant and they charged a consultation fee. I knew there was a consultation fee of approximately $143 so that was ok because he was recommended by my dentist so I assumed he was good, but after I got there he refused to even give an estimate unless I also paid an additional $400 for a ct scan in their office . Already had info from my dentist as to what would be involved so I declined the ct scan. Had to argue with the front office and assistant to even get a ballpark figure out of them for the procedure after paying the consultation fee. I was furious by the time I left there and would not ever recommend this place to anyone. read more

I took my son for a consult about wisdom teeth removal. we too, were also told to call one hour before. I agreed and was flexible. Then they asked us to come 1 hour early because someone cancelled. We showed up at the requested time and still waited ONE & a HALF hours to see the doctor. said he was "dictating". We were there the day the hurricane passed through but there was no sense of urgency on their part. We FINALLY got back to see the doctor and he did not even apologize for the LONG wait. looked in my sons mouth 2 seconds and then took us into his personal office where he proceeded to show us all my sons teeth as if we were in kindergarten. Next he pulled a bottle of pills from his desk drawer and told us he should take all FOUR of them before surgery! Which will be done in the OFFICE not put to sleep NOT in a sterile surgical environment. When I expressed my concerned he said he will not charge me if we go somewhere else. so we went to the desk to check out and talk to lady. She got a call from the doctor and I guess he told her to bring appt book to him. she picked it up and walked off not even speaking to me. SO I left the pills on the counter and walked out. SO VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Prescriptions should ONLY come from pharmacies NOT desk drawers. He has been reported. read more

Dr. Philip Koch is the most amazing Oral Surgeon EVER!! Dr. Koch went above & beyond for me & did such an amazing job. I had two wisdom teeth that needed to be extracted and one was impacted with a cavity and also had the nerve along my jaw going through it. Everyone told me it would be extremely painful after I woke from surgery, and he did prescribe me pain medicine to manage pain and told me to take ibuprofen for swelling and pain management. I have minimal to moderate pain and swelling. Honestly I couldn't have asked to feel this well directly after surgery. He is so thoughtful & the absolute kindest Man & Doctor. During the initial consult he went over everything, explained it all very well and thoroughly with me. On my consult nurse Meghan helped me, did X-rays and did another run down with me on what to expect and how to prep for surgery, she was very kind & polite. I will say I had a 2:15 appointment but the office called me to tell me a good while before my appointment, He got behind with surgery and once I arrived at 4:30 for my appointment I had to wait a bit longer to be seen. However the staff did warn of this. In my opinion it just means he doesn't rush through surgery and gives every single patient his very best and commits to their care. Waiting is frustrating, but well worth a Surgeon who will do his very best and give you his full time and attention. The day of surgery I had a 9:10 appointment and after filling out a little paper work they had me straight back and prepared, Dr. Koch explained once again what he would be doing and then they sedated me. I did it feel a thing, and when I woke they walked me to my car. (I cannot remember much from when I woke but my husband said he told me I did great, and that surgery went well) later that night Dr. Koch himself gave me a call to check in and see how I was feeling and if I needed anything, talk about great patient care!!!! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Philip Koch to anyone in need of an oral surgeon. HE IS THE BEST!!!! read more

The dr and his office staff are extremely rude and the office is very outdated. Dont waste your time

We were advised to call before coming in for our appointment because they do surgery in the mornings and afternoons could be behind. We called and Grace said come on in to the 2:15 appointment as planned. We got there and settled in the the waiting room...for 2 whole hours! Not one of the people behind the desk ever inquired or spoke to us. There were no patients coming or going so we wondered what was up. When I ventured forth to question the wait I was told they had an emergency patient come in through the rear entrance. Would we like water or snacks while we waited? Can you believe that? The rudest person there was Sarah, the office manager. I had spoken to her over the phone a number of times prior to the visit. She never spoke to me, never looked my way. At one point she stood right behind me. We prefer to be treated like we matter. We didn't find it here. Save your time and money. read more

I wouldn't go anywhere else! Not only is his staff amazing and courteous but Dr. Koch goes over and beyond what most doctors do. He even called me himself the night I had surgery to see how I was doing. A doctor who still does house calls?? Talk about service! read more
