Sam and 2 other guys moved our 3 bedroom house locally in 5.5 hours, and this included finishing up a lot of extra packing that we didn't finish before they arrived on moving day. They also brought a second truck to carry all of our garage/outdoor belongings, which was nice to know that those things weren't co-mingling with our indoor belongings. We were not initially quoted for a 2nd truck but we were also not charged extra for it based on our agreed-upon hourly rate, so it was much appreciated! They assembled and placed my furniture exactly where I wanted, and nothing was damaged in the move. The movers made contact when they were en route to my location, and showed up on time. All three of the movers introduced themselves, and post my tour of what they needed to move, they went to work. Our move was sizeable 3bd apt in a house to a 2bd smaller townhouse. They disassembled, reassembled, and arranged furniture in the most effective configuration. They were real people who truly cared about the job they did. They also understood how stressful moving is. My move took 6 hours and they were moving the entire time. Nothing broken and they were a super effective team. (hopefully no time soon...the process of moving bites) If I ever need movers again Mozart Movers are going to be my choice. College Hunks was by far the most responsive and informative of all the companies we called. They were able to confirm and schedule an appointment for first thing in the morning the next day and gave us an approximate rate quote. We were just glad that they could confirm such a quick appointment. The morning of the appointment, they communicated prior to arriving and arrived on time. The two gentlemen were very pleasant and thorough in telling us all of the information we needed to know and confirming the cost. They were also very fast and efficient at hauling all of the items away. I love that they said most of the items were going to be donated, if possible. And it was only thrown away as a last resort. Fantastic service, great work, and super fast turnaround with great communication the entire time. I'd highly recommend this College Hunks location and would certainly turn to this company again for any hauling and moving needs in the future.

I needed a small move, from an apartment in Woonsocket, that I was "camping out" in for six months (while waiting for my new, endlessly delayed double-wide to finally get finished and closed on), to Chapachet. That day finally came, and I contacted quite a few movers, who quoted outrageous sums, and dates available weeks and weeks out. I was fearing poor old me would have to drag the stuff, car load by car load to my new place. But then Paradise Movers came to my rescue! They received my request for quotes on the Yelp "Request Quotes" thingy, emailed me with a VERY fair rate, and could schedule it exactly when I needed it. Yay! They confirmed my move 3 or 4 times in the meantime, showed up on time, got right to work, and had me loaded up in a half hour! The drive was 20 minutes, got to my new place, and the whole thing was completely done in 90 minutes. The two movers were really nice! Both were communicative, responsive, careful, and efficient. They did everything with a bubbly attitude and smiles on their faces. They were freaking great - even with my packing job being way less than stellar. I would recommend Paradise Movers to anyone for any size or type of moving needs, but in particular, they shine at smaller, local moves. Hire them now!

We settled on what I *thought* was needed, and he sent a rough estimate within a couple hours. A big relief! However, my circumstances changed abruptly, and I needed to cancel the move. As I had no idea If I would be moving within a couple months or a couple years, I couldn't in good faith postpone. Alex was completely understanding. Through the entire process, from first contact to an unfortunate need to cancel, he was courteous, upfront about all matters, offered helpful suggestions, and very pleasant to work with. My only issue, falls entirely on my shoulders. They do offer a refund policy, but it was me who misunderstood the details. On their site, it clearly states that a refund will be granted only if canceled within 48 hours of booking. I had read it as before 48 hours of my move. That's not on them, my fault. I have never dealt with such a ridiculous person…read more After assisting the entire moving crew on the very expensive price it cost to even have them there, I touched base with the owner of the moving company to discuss my remaining balance. especially since some items were damaged and this company is NOT cheap. He was extremely dismissive of what I brought to his attention. Before I could even send the pictures of the damage the owner said he spoke with the moving crew, 'they adamantly disagree with you'. The funny part about all this is that I was standing in front of the crew while they were arguing with one another. Mostly about how they were wasting time not listening to each other. So many unprofessional conversations happening right before me while handling my stuff - it was the most nerve wrecking feeling. Moving is tough. I can understand that. It's what I paid them to be there for. But when I tried to communicate all this to the owner, he still denied it happening and that I was misunderstanding. Yet he wasn't even present for the job. I had told the crew to be more careful and mindful too many times to count. At a certain point I felt it was best to not hover and let them work it out. After disclosing all this info to their boss, he threatened me in text because my photos weren't going through to him and I wasn't supporting my argument enough. That's when I said I would be leaving a detailed review about how poorly it was being handled. Then continued on some tangent about me wanting a free move even though I paid a deposit of $750 well in advance. How is that looking for a free move? I don't even care so much about the damaged items now - my issue lies with the owner of this company who is riding a massive ego trip.
