I would never recommend Phillip Jusino I used him for my child support case . He was completely irresponsible ignored my calls until I called the bar association . Last minute he sent his sister who knew nothing at all about my case . Of course I lost the case and my last bit of savings that I paid Mr Jusino . Definitely don't recommend!!!! I hired Mr. Jusino for a custody and support matter and what a huge mistake. He was paid $1500 to retain he charged an additional $360. He showed up to 2 court dates before I fired him without getting any money back. Mr. Jusino shows up to the custody hearing before Letchrecker and omg. My ex has the kids participating in activities that were being held on my weekends and when you have 3 kids in 3 different things going 3 different places at 3 different times and you live 45 minutes away that would be a problem for anyone right? WRONG!! I was ganged up on by the child lawyer Arshia and my own lawyer and was told "that's what parents do." Well I will start out by saying " LAWYERS ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO WIN IN A DIVORCE".... With that said.. I met Mr. Jusino by a recommendation. He seemed to be very upfront and knowledgeable.. Well after paying the retainer and meeting for the basic to start my divorce.. It started to go down hill... My bills were sent to my new PO Box but my important legal paperwork was sent SEVERAL times to my old PO BOX... Held by my EX... NOT GOOD... After many calls Joleen finally corrected that.. But then the mistakes started to multiply... Changing Court times.. Without noticing me (the client) as I wasted a vacation day to be there... agreeing to back room ( in chambers) deals without consulting me ( the client).... Giving up assets that should have not be given away before trial( I think it's called escrow).....And on and on.. I guess the question I asked when we first met "have you done divorces where the husband has filed on the wife?".....SHOULD HAVE BEEN... " have you ever won a divorce where the husband has filed on the wife"... The constant mistakes and endless runaround led me to believe that he was not the lawyer for me and my interests. I'm not impressed with the fact that you are face book friends with this judge or that judge... Or that you were a prosecutor at one time... When I'm told that it's my fault for not understand the wording of the "pendente lite " filing which cost me 1000s in expenses for payments I made, that were to be made by the EX... And then told "SORRY I TOLD YOU TO READ IT".... And oh.... by the way I want another 5,000 to preceded with your case... NO........ I don't think so.... So in closing... I paid about 8000.00 dollars for 11 court room visits to which I sat in the hallway and they met " in chambers".... 10,000's of dollars in EXPENSE'S FOR THE EX for ABSOLUTELY the worst representation in court... MY REVIEW MAY NOT BE YOURS... But I really think I may have been his first divorce case????? MY INTEREST WERE NOT REPRESENTED AT ALL..... I have been dealing with the Suffolk county family court system for many years. I hired Mr. Jusino for visitation rights to my infant son. I got a good feeling from him and his office immediately. Mr. Jusino is very professional, and makes sure to explain everything as it is going along, so I didn't feel in the dark. DON'T USE THIS ATTORNEY!!! He acts very smart and aggressive (in a good lawyer way) when you meet him BUT then when he's in front of a judge he acts like a field mouse. Doesn't speak up at all. Phillip is a horrible lawyer. He did nothing of value for me. He made decisions without my consent and thought nothing trough. His ability to argue effectively is non existent. He can't even argue effectively about his billing. One time he told me it is OK for him to waste time and bill for it because people in his office waste time and he pays them for that. I explained to him that he is not a $10 dollar an hour employee and that the time he spends at $350 per hour needs to be constructive. He is fantastic at wasting time and billing for every second of it. He would review my file, that only contains ten pages of penitent information, for over 20 hours and remember nothing of any details. Phillip should have been a used car salesman. He is great at getting a retainer check from you. He comes off confident and eager to work, but after he gets the check, the work stops. Big Stupid Clown I hired Phillip to handle a very important case for me. Upon first meeting he came off as a easygoing person that gave the perception of confidence knowing what he was doing. He convinced me to put down a 10K retainer because he said my case was extra difficult and needed more attention then the others like it. Soon after the check was cashed Phillip's office filed paperwork for court and Phillip began going to court hearings. Each month he would appear in front of a judge. This went on for seven months with nothing being accomplished. I started to get a little anxious and asked when the case would go to trial. He told me soon. Five more months passed and nothing happened. Phillip had used up over none thousand dollars of my retainer and was asking for more money. He assured me that things were going smoothly and he would finish up the case soon. Finally after three more months the case went to trial. Phillip had charged me for over 30 hours of pre trial prep and would only come in with a sheet of paper with 5 things listed on it. The trial was a total failure. Phillip could not hold any ground against the opposing attorney. He lost every single battle. He just did not care about doing a good job. It seemed he was fearful of saying anything at all and just stood there like a big stupid clown. In the end I got stuck with a massive legal bill which I had to pay for. I started looking on the internet for other people that reviewed him and noticed that all of the good reviews gave no details of what he did right. I then noticed that his own office staff was writing reviews about him. I am very sure at this time the Phillip J. Jusino & Associates and associates are nothing more then a bunch of matchstick men. I see they post fake good reviews on Google and other sites to hustle people into their office. Phillip is lazy, apathetic, slow, and a liar. Beware of this person.
