The location was easy to find and offered both fuel and a car wash, making it convenient to take care of both at the same stop. We filled up with gas first before heading through the wash. Since this was our first visit to a Waterway location, we weren't familiar with how everything worked. The wash itself was straightforward, and after it was finished, we pulled into one of the vacuum and detailing spaces to wipe down the car. A staff member politely informed us that we had parked in an area reserved for VIP members and directed us to the appropriate area for standard customers when we were pretty much done. It was an easy mistake for first-time visitors to make, but the employee handled it professionally and courteously. The facility itself was very clean and well maintained. The vacuum and detailing areas seemed well organized. The prices also seemed very reasonable for the services provided. Overall, we had a good experience despite our brief confusion about the parking areas. Between the clean facility, courteous staff, reasonable prices, and convenient location, I would recommend this Waterway Carwash to fellow travelers or anyone in the O'Fallon area looking to give their vehicle a good cleaning.

It was $7 for the basic wash and the vacuums are free and you can use them either before or after your wash. This was fine but all of these washes fail when it comes to drying. Instead of removing the water that's left they whip the water around so that it dries in a very odd frantic pattern on your vehicle. It did get the bulk of the chemicals and dirt that remained from the 2022 snowpocalypse off though.

Rather than taking pride in ownership and making things right when damage is done, the owner will do everything they can to dodge responsibility and leave the repairs on you. For those wanting more information, here is the back story: I went through this wash and after, noticed it had left deep gouges in the fenders on the right side of my truck. I return to the wash and Chris, the attendant working, is adamant that the wash could not have done this. I am also adamant that these gouges were not there prior to going through this wash, so he says to appease me, let's run the truck back through the wash and he will prove to me this wasn't sustained here. Much to his surprise, one of the mechanical arms from the wash was close enough to make contact with my fenders on the right side when running it through, to the point where he had to stop the wash and hold the arm back while I drove through the wash so it doesn't cause any further damage. Obviously, this confirms that it was indeed this arm that scratched my fenders (much to my relief, I'm now thinking ok good, at least I have proof now). He says he can't do anything about this and that the owner will be in touch on how to proceed with repairs. I give it a week or two and don't hear anything, so I start calling everyday (either get voicemail or get an employee who says "oh yeah, the owner has your name and number and should be calling you"). Still after over a month, I never get in touch with this guy. The only way I end up getting any reply is through Facebook messenger, to which I get a reply that "Dan has tried reaching out. The videos do confirm a scratch sustained by the car wash on the fenders but your truck looks wider than most, you have aftermarket wheels with 2 inch spacers (which is incorrect) indicating aftermarket products have been added and we will not cover any repairs as indicated on our signage". This is absolutely false. I own a Ford raptor which from the factory, without any aftermarket products, is built with wider fenders. I also do not have 2 inch spacers in my wheels, they just assumed this without actually assessing my vehicle and this explanation makes no sense as no damage was done to my wheels or tires, it was to the actual fenders on the truck. Anyways, I'm sure I could get damages paid for via civil suit but honestly it's not worth my time, just wanted to at least make people aware of how business is done here.

The air blowers--even with the previous company--have always been an issue by leaving far too much water on the vehicle. However, the so-called free vacuums are now an issue. (They're not free because you have to purchase a wash to access them.) It's dicey whether you'll find a spot where vacs work on both sides of the car. Due to non-operating and broken vacuums I moved my car four times and did not find machines working on both sides. I eventually vacuumed one side, then moved the car to finish the other side. Small air pistols previously allowed me to blow off excess water on windows. After multiple tries I found none working today. I simply haven't been getting my previous value and am now paying more. There are also many more nearby car wash options than even a year ago. On the plus side, employees were friendly and helpful in canceling the membership.

I get the basic, but they also wipe down inside and vacuum and idk what they put in their soap but my windshield is always so clean that I whenever it is pouring out, I don't even need to put in my wipers because whatever they put makes the water glide right off. It doesn't affect the visibility at all despite it being cloudy, cars driving right in front of me, or even with fog on top of it all! Definitely great value and there's always at least two people working to dry it quickly to get me out of there asap. Loyal customer right here! Also... during the summer it can get backed up, so I know the people know about this place!

So the kid tells me the prices changed and no big deal I pay increase for the simple exterior wash. I went through the whole thing and they didn't have any of the normal things. No brushes. No device on either side of the car scrubbing or cleaning anything. I only got one pic from my rear view mirror. You can see there is nothing to wash or scrub the exterior of the car anywhere.
