We figured out that our county's website has a record of all of the permitted work done in the county in the last 3.5 months, and you can sort by project. It also lists the sq footage of the project and the cost. We could see that Kefficient had done the most permitted projects in our county and they had a fair and competitive price compared to other companies who got their work permitted. We ended up deciding to work with Kefficient. What a world of difference! They quickly got a permit and did the work and had it inspected and it looks great. What a relief after such a poor experience with a different company!

The light near the dehumidifier is game-changing and they even gave me a moisture monitoring device. Possibly the most incompetent, unresponsive, company I've ever worked with. Their "supervisor"…read morestated that a cleanup would take about a week. The crew showed up late in the morning and took frequent breaks before leaving each day at around 2:30. After a month of this clown show, our insurance adjuster advised having them leave. I refused to let their reconstruction team into our home for the second part of the restoration. I guess they don't need the business. One last thing. We contacted another general contractor to supervise the reconstruction. Commonwealth Restoration was brought back in to clean up one last time. Our water was shut off and their folks defecated in an upstairs toilet and covered things with paper towel. I suppose that's their professional way to send a message. Our insurance company and general contractor have been notified that this disreputable company should be avoided at all costs. I wish that I could award them a zero star rating.

Chris came out to take a look, the quote was reasonable for the area and damage. Iris made sure to get a team out the next day due to a rain storm in the forecast. I thought I was going to need to climb on the roof and tarp it myself somehow, but nope! The crew arrived on time, and accomplished the fix without any issues or surprises.
