We've been waiting to try this place but I knew we had to eat it there. Idk if I agree about it being pricey or not because even though we spent about 45$ it was enough food to feed a family of three as long as it's a husband/wife/little kid trio. Angel was on the grill but I can't remember the light skinned girls name who actually told us her and the grill guys name. Her customer service was on point though and I love how she guided us through ordering when she didn't have to because we would've spent more by accident. The seasoning of the Philly was top tier but it was overcooked. The cheese sauce disappointed me because it was clumpy, the color was off and of course the taste was too. So I had to go get my own cheese sauce from Taco Bell. Once I added it though.. I literally was in heaven. The board walk fries were a hit too, so I'm sorry to anyone who didn't get there's prepared right. I found parchment paper or what resembled it in my sandwich after I bit it and that disturbed me but at least it wasn't hair. I liked the interactive dinning experience. We played connect four while we waited and they had a couple other games around the restaurant as well.

Found out about this place via their food truck which was phenomenal! Decided to try the brick & mortar location. Definitely a hole in the wall place, slightly scary, but the food is great! The customer service skill of the fall working may be original to Philly, but I wasn't thrilled. I love that every table has a board game to pass time. At the food truck I tried the meatball subs (highly recommend), today we had the cheeseburger subs and the bull street bully. All are great choices!

First off, Shout out to Louisa who is a phenomenonal woman. Her positive energy is infectious in a great way. When she recommended the spaghetti fries and I took my first bite, yes lord!! My tongue was speaking in tongues. I got that and the "Answer" which is loaded fries with ribeye steak, onions and American cheese. I opted for provolone cheese though. Good spot next to the circle K off of 17 and Quacco Rd. I throughly enjoyed my food. This will be my indulge spot to reward my healthy lifestyle I stick to.

Worst $19 I've ever spent at a food truck. Sandwich lacked onions and barely any cheese. Bread wasn't fresh. Fries were little bits and cold. I'm so disappointed. Ketchup was the best thing on the plate and it was my own.

This place looks a little unassuming, right next to a gas station and all, but don't let that stop you from coming in. The BEST wings I've eaten. And don't get me started on the delicious philly. You can tell they put their heart and soul in this food. Everything is made in house. The staff were very friendly and appreciative for our business. And the door never quit opening with patron after patron placing orders. Wow!!!

I have heard alot of good things about this new spot and I couldn't wait to try it out. I stopped in tonight not long before they closed and my philly was fresh and made to order. I will admit being a New Yorker my expectations were very high and they were met. Flavor and freshness were very good. It's a nice little spot. The lemonade was also very good, can't wait to try something else.

Excellent cheesesteaks. Prompt counter service. Very nice, friendly staff. Interesting memorabilia. It's primarily take out. Ambiance is Philly.

First time going today. Was a little sketch walking in seeing the workers and who is cooking my food but i was like im going to just try it anyways because i had worst lol. So i ordered, the lady suggested something on my sandwich and i didn't want it so i told her to take it off. After that she took a BIG DEEP BREATH like it was a problem with me changing my order. Just do your job. So i waited and got the food. I was going to eat it in the car but i like I'm just going to wait till i get home. So i got home opened it up. Its looks straight. So i took a bite. Its tasted like the cook did not season the meat and it had no cheese. Dry kinda but alright. I ate half and I can't eat the rest because it doesn't taste that good at all. I had to go in my Kitchen and put some salt on it and that didn't fix it. The corners of the bread were hard. FIRST AND LAST TIME GOING HERE. And that orange looking sauce is nasty asf. I can still taste it in my mouth. Thats just my opinion. The cook just didn't whip it up that good. It was put together nicely but not tasty.

    Current prices.

First time visit. Got 3 different phillys, a sausage and pepper and an Italian combo. Along with 3 orders of fries and a side of meatballs. The best 73.00 we have spent in a long while. The bread was fresh, everything cooked perfectly. Fries hot and cooked to order. The owner was incredibly friendly. The two young ladies were very nice. He brings in the bread from Philly. And he has real bagels from NYC! He kindly threw one in for my daughter. There are a few tables so you can dine in if you choose. He has glass bottles of soda. They are located in the same parking lot as Circle K. On the corner of Ogeechee and Quacco Rd. I am adding a photo of the menu with current pricing

We will definitely be coming here again, loved the food! We had the small size onion rings, I can't remember what they call it, but definitely a small serving. The sandwiches were big though. I had the beef brisket sandwich with country gravy and I cannot rave over it enough! A very substantial sandwich, I couldn't finish mine. He had the Buffalo chicken sandwich, also wonderful. We both had the coleslaw, a very generous portion! From now on, this will be THE stop for lunch out at Forsyth Park!

Upon entry, there was a bar and it was very crowded and a little loud. But everyone was super friendly (and respectful) and seemed to be having an awesome time. (Might have stopped in if the entire family hadn't been with me!) A short walk down the hall was Betty Bombers...all real American food. The artwork was awesome, especially since both of my grandfathers were in WWII, and some of it looked familiar. The table ordered everything from salads, to a HUMUNGOUS hotdog for the kid (he originally wanted two and the waitress told him to start with one LOL), cheeseburgers, a pastrami sandwich, and a ration size portion of steak and cheese fries for me. I really liked how they offered smaller portions for a lot of their items, especially since we had a huge lunch. Everyone's food came out but mine. When I pointed it out to the waiter (who didn't take our order), he went to check and said it was his mistake and he would bring it out shortly. It took less than five minutes to come out and he offered me a milkshake for the wait. I had already had Leopold's that day but my cousin hadn't so he got a Mint Chocolate Chip milkshake. He really liked it. All of the food was good. I wanted to point out that my steak and cheese fries said ribeye and queso in the description. Yes, that was probably ribeye (it was tender and delicious) and while it was technically queso, Cheez whiz would have been a more apt description. That's ok, because it was good. Overall, a wonderful experience. I really liked how the waiter took accountability and fixed it. Very much appreciated. I would 100% return.

Going inside, there was jamming music inside and the place had some cool looking items scattered across the wall. Rome took our orders very fast and was highly attentive! That day, we ordered some blueberry magaritas, one chicken parm grinder, a sembrano grinder with a chicken cutlet, perogies with potato and cheese, and a bunch of Philly cheese steak egg rolls! Moving on with my review, the food and drinks were pretty awesome! The margaritas had a nice balance of sweetness, tartness, and tangy flavors; I liked that that there were real blueberries! Chicken sembrano had a nice spread of mayo and ranch to keep sauce moist, cutlet crispy; overall simple but tasty sandwhich! The chicken parm grinder had tender chicken cutlet as well, but felt a little dryer than the Sembrano and needed more red sauce. Perogies tasted fresh, not frozen, and had nice creamy cheesey potato filling! Best thing to order was Philly eggrolls; great value and tender shaved ribeye! Could've been a little cheesier though, but still very tasty. Overall, the quality, value, and service was pretty well received at Romes. I'd be happy to pay a visit again when I come back to Savannah. Final rating 4/5 stars.

10/10 - A Must-Stop Every Time I've been coming here ever…read moresince I was little, and it's one of those places that never disappoints. Every time I'm anywhere close, I make it a point to stop, and this trip was no different. I was driving back home to North Carolina and had to make one last stop because it's just that good. The food is always fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The sandwich was perfectly toasted with fresh ingredients, plenty of parmesan, and an amazing sauce, and the fries were cooked perfectly. Everything tasted just as good as I remembered. Service was a 10/10 and wonderful seating options MUST GO!!!

This place has gone from amazing local food with a South African twist to complete commercialized…read moregarbage. Local Savannah foodie pages have been saying the same thing for years. Even after the 2021 rebrand, it still held on for a while, but something in the last 5 years at the main office has completely lost touch. They expanded to three locations: ; downtown, Tybee, and Hilton Head, and in the process the whole identity fell apart. The menu has been gutted of its originality. The "OG" items are now overpriced, portion sizes have been cut in half, and the original sides that made it special are gone. What used to be a simple, order-and-sit-down experience is now chaotic. You're herded in by an overstaffed but somehow still disorganized team of high-turnover employees with zero consistency and very little emotional intelligence. There are always way too many staff for the number of customers, yet service somehow keeps getting worse. Last night was the final straw. We tried the Tybee location first, waited 30 minutes just to be seated, only to be told they were basically out of everything and could only do drinks. So we drove to downtown. Same exact thing. Out of sausage. When we asked if we could just remove it or substitute it, we didn't get a simple no, we got an "absolutely not," because apparently everything is pre-mixed and nothing can be adjusted. Even worse once we sat down. It took 15 minutes just to be asked for drink orders. A different server came over, introduced himself like we were starting fresh, and then got visibly annoyed when we said we'd already ordered water and a soda. From there it just kept getting more awkward. At one point he bumped my cup while I was literally lifting it to my lips and told me to "watch out" while he was placing food down. He took forever to check us out and finally bring our soda to go, and ended the night by saying, "just so you know I'm faster than the other girl," like we were in the middle of some weird staff competition we didn't sign up for. On the outside it still looks like a fun Savannah staple. But once you sit down, you realize you're no longer a local guest, you're trapped in an overhyped tourist operation that's completely lost what made it good in the first place.
