We ate here for dinner and it did not disappoint ! The burgers were cooked fresh to order. Unfortunately, we did not like the fries, nothing was wrong with them they just lacked flavor and we prefer thicker fries. The ingredients were still very fresh even at 8pm. The burgers came with lettuce , tomatoes , red onion , and pickles. The service was a little shaky in the beginning as the young lady who took the order was very rude but the other workers were so kind and made up for the experience . We did not eat at the location due to rain, but there is outdoor seating outside of the order window that overlook the Savannah river. This is apart of the JW marriot property so there are many things to do and see along the river walk after eating. If you are in the area or staying on the property give it a try !

Amazing burger & fries! I was visiting Savannah for the first time, and while walking on River Street, I stumbled upon this place. I ordered the single smash burger with cheese and a side order of fries. Both tasted very fresh and were delicious. The workers there were nice too. Highly recommend!

Walking along the river walk you can't help but smell the burgers. Had to check out their smash burger. Place you order and wait for your name to be called. Grab a table on the boardwalk and chill. Burger was really good. Smashed nicely with ooey gooey cheese and fresh LTOP. Although there was a line the wait was not bad. Grab a seat at the picnic tables and do some people watching.

Riverside Burgers is a new eatery in the Plant Riverside District. An employee informed me they have been open for about two weeks as of this review. The food choices here are pretty simple as it consists of smashed burgers, seasoned fries and tater tots. Bear and soda are also available. All orders are taken at the front counter. I love a good burger, so I ordered their single angus burger with cheese with seasoned fries as my side choice. The overall taste of the smash burger was good, with the seasoned fries being excellent. A single burger starts at nine dollars, with the most expensive burger costing fourteen dollars. Sides are an additional four dollars. Riverside Burgers appears to be a nice place to satisfy your hunger pangs. You can't beat the combination of a great tasting burger and the Plant Riverside District atmosphere.

I was debating between the Fried green tomato BLT or the Caprese Grilled cheese then our server Kristin suggested the mussels and that is what I ended up with and I am so glad I did. These were absolutely the best mussels I've ever had. The sauce was not the traditional garlic/shallot wine sauce but had more tomato and basil reminiscent of warm bruschetta. I had to borrow my husbands spoon to get every bit of that sauce after I finished my mussels. My husband had the famous shrimp and grits which he absolutely loved. He noted it wasn't overpowered with sausage like most other restaurants do but had a perfect balance of flavor. My mom got the lamb burger and also loved every bite. She loved lamb so as soon as she saw that she had no doubt what she was going to order. Both my husband and mom loved every bite. I can see why The Public Kitchen is so popular. The restaurant has some indoor and outdoor seating with a mix of tables and banquets along the walls. It was comfortable without being too crowded. This was my first visit to The Public but It definitely won't be my last.

Husband had CLAM LINGUINI crispy pancetta, sweet peas, classic white wine & garlic butter broth, fresh herbs. We sat outside, next to the sidewalk. We had our puppy with us. They brought him water. Patio furniture was comfortable. Our waitress, Nicole, was great. No complaints. Will go back here when we are in town.

This small restaurant offers big flavors with local ingredients and grass-fed beef from a local farm. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating along with a few spots at the bar. Service is quick and staff is helpful when substitutions are needed - gluten free bun or veggie patties are available. My personal favorite is the Rustico burger with a smooth goat cheese, balsamic caramelized onions, roasted red peppers and fresh basil. It offers a perfectly balanced sweet and savory bite. Their homemade ketchup is also delicious - nothing like you are accustom to. Also try the Pimento cheese plate - a southern classic. A perfect pairing with the tart pickles!

I ordered a veggie burger done Greek Style (Feta, olive tapenade, banana peppers, cucumber slices, L,T,O). The sandwich was great, but I had to ask for some mayo because it was a bit on the dry side, the olive tapanade was working hard but it was no match for all of those ingredients together. Good place, I would come back to try other stuff off the menu

The place has a great local vibe and a busy, energetic atmosphere. The cashier was pleasant, respectful, and gave excellent recommendations. Loved the local artwork for sale on the walls, which added to the character of the space. Everything about the experience felt authentic and welcoming. Ok, this is one of the first places in Savannah where the price matched with the portion. $3.75 for a slider and $1.50 for half tray of fries. Also $1 for a side of ranch, but can't complain it was a big portion of ranch. We ordered just the regular sliders, one without veggies (for me) and one with veggies (for my girlfriend). The patties themselves were flavorful, but it was really just the patty, I barely noticed the bacon. Bacon cut could've been thicker, or another piece of bacon; to make the layers for distinct. My girlfriend said she didn't realize there was bacon, she did enjoy the slider however. The fries were so good. It kind of reminds me of the In-n-Out well-done fries; superrrr crisp. The ranch was really good too, garlicky a little, and thick consistency. The service was fast and nice. We were one of the first people in, so everything moved smoothly. The ambience is very homey feeling, like I'm eating in someone's home - which I enjoyed. I don't like when a burger spot tries to glorify the inside even though they're just burgers. To sum it up: If the slider had a thicker slice of bacon on the burger, not really thick, maybe the thickness of 2 pieces of bacon just to get the difference textures, this would be 5/5.
