Last night I got a roast beef sub. You know that micro thin sliced meat, I had 2 layers of meat. This was the whole long sub, like $16 and 2 thin slices of meat, can't begin to taste that! I also ordered avocado, $4. No avocado. My wife got a philly steak and cheese. She had about a tablespoon of meat in one chunk, she spread it around best she could. The lady working was wearing hello kitty pjs which already looks unprofessional, but to top it off proceeded to touch multiple raw items like steak pucks, onions, etc. she comes up to the counter to take my payment for food I ordered on the phone, without taking off the gloves. I give her cash, she gives me my change, the proceeds to go back to making food without changing her gloves. I had the cheesesteak to go so I can't speak much about the experience you would have in the restaurant. The cheesesteak was not very good and lacked any seasoning or flavor. Picked -up 2 supreme cheese steak subs with provolone on the way home. After an hour and a half drive home, the subs were still warm, I was sure that I would not be able to eat an entire 12'' sub, however I was wrong. The proportions were perfect and I look forward to future visits. read more

We haven't ordered from Philly Cheese Steak Plus in over a year or so... so we decided a good sub would be good for dinner. We actually been customers since they opened ( knew the owner when he had another restaurant in town) and always enjoyed the subs. Since we moved we haven't ordered here much anymore. We used the online ordering, which makes things easier for us nowadays. We had no issues there. We ordered a Philly cheese steak supreme and The Italian sub with mayo and banana peppers added. We were given a pick up time. When we got there, we still had to wait 10 minutes past pick up time. They were not busy. I don't think they made our order till after we were there. When we got home my Italian sub didn't have the extras I ordered, nor did it have much oil and vinegar. The meat itself tasted off. Not bad but just odd tasting. The bread was beyond toasted. It was more rock-like. My husband actually split his sub with me cause the Italian was just not edible to me. The Philly cheese steak supreme was good. The tomato tasted home grown. That was the sub we remember. Our recommendations are to stick with the cheese steak subs. We have had the pizzas in the past and those just aren't our cup of tea either. Next time ( honestly I am not sure there will be a next time) we will stick to just the supreme and that's it. read more

Horrible pizza. I don't think these guys have actually ever been to New York City! I ordered a veggie pizza and it had almost zero sauce and tasted terrible. If I could give them 0 stars I would... I got a cheese steak with cheese and extra ketchup. It had very little ketchup on it and they refused to give me more. The marinara that came with my cheese sticks was a little tiny cup. They filled my cup with ice after I asked for light ice. My husband found PLASTIC in his sub and they didn't wanna do anything about it. Little girl that was running the front was rude... Definitely not coming back. Great stuff. Nothing pre packaged/frozen here. Tender and flavorful steak, fresh soft roll w just the right crispness to the crust. Tomatos were wonderful. In the summer the owner uses produce from of his own garden out back. The front counter might look like a typical mom/pop place but step into the dining room and you will feel at home. We've ate here several times and seems like it gets progressively worse each time. First meal was excellent and that's why we came back. After that things just went downhill. I was hoping that the cook was having a bad day. Service mediocre at best, had to go the counter and ask for my salad that took 15 minutes to get. Ordered Mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and never came out first, came with meal on the same basket with the sub. Fries were good but who can't achieve that. Steak and cheese (hot) had raw onions on it, supposed to cook onions for a hot sub! Steak was bland and greasy, no flavor. I don't understand how they make Lasagna incorrectly but only ate 1/2 of it, it was that bad. when they brought out the lasagna had to ask for bread (you never serve this dish without bread). Overpriced for the quality they claim to have. The outside of this place does not do justice for what is inside! It is so clean and well maintained with a porch out bak for outside eating. I know subs and hoagies. I have tried 4 Italian subs here. The first one was edible and then all down hill after that. The last one actually made me sick. The rolls were stale. The onions were actually rotten, like they sat out all day yesterday, then put them in the refrigerator instead of throwing them out. Disgusting. I made subs for years.
