I ordered two of the same pizzas at 12:05 this afternoon. An hour and a half later, two cold pizzas showed up with the excuse of "I'm doing the best I can." No apology, ok that's fine, I go inside after taking the pizzas. One of the pizzas is correct...cold, but correct. The other is some weird burnt-looking square cut peperoni pizza, nothing at all like I ordered. Had They both been just cold and an hour and a half late, I would have sucked it up, as I always do, and not called. Instead, I called and explained the issue. Never was I offered a refund. I was asked if I wanted the one pizza remade. I said "yes." Surprisingly, not an hour and a half later, but just twenty minutes later, the re-made pizza shows up. It was the same delivery driver. I handed him the pepperoni junk pizza, he handed me an amazingly hot replacement correct, or so I think as I type this, pizza. He never says a word, no apology, no anything. The store is four minutes from my house. I always tip like 4-5 dollars. It's notable that today I only tipped 40 cents (the amount to the rounded-up dollar). I tip everywhere. This is a legit first. No accountability on either trip to my house. I made this account on Yelp just to get this out. I tried the bs "report an issue" on the website where I ordered. It was an insult to see them offer either "20% off your next order," or "free two-topping medium pizza" to make up for it. I declined. I'm very annoyed at the whole situation. I eat from that place once a week. I'm now done for good. The Shepherdstown Dominoes, like an unfit partner, will push and push...push until you end it for good. If you don't cut it off at the root, you're in for a lifetime of disappointment. Have a lovely day, everyone!

Any business that stands behind what it makes is a business I want to patronize. I looked confused and the guy behind the pickup window said the first one had a hole it it so they remade my order and the original was on the house. When I opened both boxes they looked identical save for one slice have a tear which to me is neither here nor there. What stands out to me is I didn't get my pizza, notice the flaw, and then say something. They spotted the error and corrected it before I even got the text my food was ready. The pizza itself was delicious. They accommodated my special request for stracciatella cheese too. Delicious crust, quality toppings, and the sauce was where it needed to be. I highly recommend them for dine in or take out.

We also scooped an order of cheesy bread as well and a couple of waters. MARGHERITA: thin on the sauce (which is a heavy tomato paste consistency) so it looks overcooked. Flavor was good but the sauce was nearly dried on - maybe thinning the sauce so it keeps its liquidity more? Don't know. Again - a solid pie (7.2/10) RICKERONI: Cupping pepperoni, ricotta mounds, and some jalapeños . More of a traditional feel here - loved the pepperoni and the sauce. The ricotta looked cool but wasn't my favorite addition. Peppers really had a pop to them. Liked this way more (8.1/10) BIG MAC: Meat, garlic sauce, MAC sauce and pickles - I liked this a lot but I wish I would had ordered more MAC sauce on top - like these style specialty pies (7.8/10) The cheesy bread was good, the pesto very thick on top. Nice large space to sit and eat. Staff was nice and friendly at the pickup window.

Honestly, most have been underwhelming, with only a few exceptions. Mythical Pizza was a very welcome plot twist. We happened to drive by and pulled in on a whim. Even from the outside, the place has personality. Inside, we were greeted warmly by who I think was either the owner or manager. She explained how everything worked, gave great recommendations, and immediately made the place feel welcoming. The decor is quirky in the best way: Bigfoot, aliens, cryptids, paranormal touches, and a little gift shop. It sounds like it could be too much, but somehow it works. If a pizza place and a roadside folklore museum had a charming baby, this would be it. The menu is surprisingly broad, with pizzas, specialty crusts, pastas, salads, folded breads, strombolis, wings, desserts, and more. Since there were too many interesting pizzas to choose from, I ordered the "Flight of the Squonks," three 5 inch signature pizzas. We tried "The Alabama White Thang," "Attack of the 50' Meatball," and "Sprout Man and the Masters of the Pizzeria." All three were genuinely very good, creative without being weird for the sake of weird, and the crust was excellent. We also had barbecue wings. The wings themselves were juicy, meaty, and well cooked. The barbecue sauce was fine, though next time I'd probably ask for sauce on the side and try another flavor. The place was packed, which felt like a good sign, and the energy matched the food: fun, unpretentious, and better than expected. After a disappointing meal elsewhere the day before, where the price point really wasn't justified by the food, Mythical Pizza felt like a small-town restaurant win. Great vibe, warm service, creative menu, and very solid food. Definitely coming back.

From the second we walked in, it felt very welcoming and friendly. I've never seen so many wonderful pizza options on one menu. I wanted all of them! He had the Alfredo Parmesan wings and he said they were delicious. I chose a pepperoni roll (I hear it's a West Virginia thing) and it was very tasty with a boat load of cheese. I personally like a spicer marinara for dipping but it was still very good. The staff was super friendly and helpful finding me the right souvenir t shirt with the Mothman on it. Oh and we tried the tiramisu and boy howdy! It was Dee-LISH!!! Def worth a try.
