I ordered a regular sized Philly BBQ which comes with lettuce, tomato, mayo, bbq sauce, steak, and bacon. The portion size of the overall sandwich is fair but if you would like a little extra of something, you'll for sure need to ask for it. The cheese fries were solid; the cheese sauce had a hint a jalapeño flavor so the cheese wasn't too bland. The fries were slightly undercooked though. Went to the Philly Dat Up in the Wal-Mart on West Esplanade in Kenner. Employees were friendly enough, place was clean with nobody in line and only one person at a table. I should have taken the hint. Instead I ordered a BBQ Philly, regular size plain. Paid almost $8 for a 6" dry sandwich that was hard to swallow. There was NO BBQ sauce and the meat was more like chipped wood than meat. The food was awful. I could have driven a few blocks down either West Esplanade or Loyola and done better for less money at a fast food place. My son got the same sandwich but made it a combo with fries and a drink. He felt the same about the sandwich and gave the fries a "meh". Never again! read more

HORRIBLE! Avoid at all cost! Prices on menu inside on board do not reflect the prices they actually charge. I ordered a One surf n turf philly sandwich , 1 large fry and two drinks. When ordering a drink and fry they upcharge you $7.00. I ended up paying a total of $20 for basically nothing. The shrimp were so small, barely any meat. Went to American Deli on the westbank the other day, got a philly, wings, drink, fries all for under $20. It's far from where I live, but so worth the drive! Made a last minute food order on Door Dash and decided to try this restaurant. We ordered 2 surf and turf Phillies with fries and strawberry lemonade. The order was made and delivered in record time and was still hot. The philly steaks were delicious, the fries crisp and the strawberry lemonade was the perfect amount of tart and sweet. We were pleasantly surprised at the outcome as we'd never heard of this restaurant before and sometimes blind ordering can be hit or miss. I'm glad we took the chance because the outcome was the discovery of a new addition to add to our growing list of favorite spots. If you haven't already give them a try. I order here through Uber eats yesterday I work all the way in Chalmette so I expected my food not to be to hot but at least warm enough for me to at least eat it. I ordered the surf and turf with extra cheese, fries and a strawberry lemonade. My sandwich was so good still warm when I received it but the fries I could have done without they were so cold and nasty but the lemonade was delicious. Guy with the dreads took about 10 minutes to acknowledge me... i just left today, he walked out after he was taking this lady in front of me order, he then came back and acted like i wasn't even standing there.. he then told me " man I'm zoning out" like who does that!! the customer service is poor. New place around here it's been open for about 4 months. You walk in with a greeting and you walk out with "have a great day". Super sweet staff! Great food and awesome atmosphere.
