While most of my Company Burger meals are excellent, yesterday's was exceptional. My fried chicken was cooked to perfection. Crunchy skin and tender chicken made for the best bite. I added tomato jam because that sandwich runs a tad dry. I also added basil aioli from the mayo bar. The fries are the reason I keep coming back. They're fresh cut, salty, and crisped to perfection. I love the crispy bits of them that settle to the bottom of the bag. Their frozen strawberry piña colada was SO frozen. As a lover of frozen drinks, the temperature of this frozen drink was a flex. It didn't melt by 4 sips- actually stayed frozen from the first to the last sip. It was so cold that it frosted the glass. I had to fashion a coozy out of some paper napkins. An inconvenience of luxury! Additionally, my date remarked that many old fashions taste of only whiskey, but theirs actually tasted like an old fashioned. I ordered the falafel burger with sweet potato fries for takeout. It was packaged properly. Service was quick. Most people were there for takeout but the ambiance appeared to be pleasant. The sweet potato fries were ample and the falafel patty was a generous portion for the price. Of note, the sweet potato fries are thickly sliced and were fresh and tasty, even a few hours later. The falafel patty tasted comparable to other falafel forms I've had. Unfortunately, the falafel patty was very dry - most of the mayo stuck to the bun and I nearly inhaled falafel bits but chugged it down with some water. Maybe I should have slathered on more mayo at their Mayo Bar... It didn't blow me away but the prices are quite fair and the food was filling, so I'll likely return. read more

This was my first experience at Company Burger. I was excited to try this spot! I ordered the Turkey Burger and onion rings. Honestly, they were delicious! The burger and toppings were fresh and the onion rings are made fresh with full purple onions. I was totally engrossed in my meal and talking with a friend. As I finished eating I started watching other customers come in. It was getting busy! Since there's an open kitchen concept I approached the counter and asked the Server if it was ok to take photos for my review. He was super friendly and said of course! It was then I noticed no one had gloves on! I was shocked. Additionally, everyone with long hair did not have hair nets on. I returned to my table and decided to watch the process of the cook preparing the meat for the grill, use his cell phone while it cook, then proceeded build the burger! The prep cook also prepared the fries and onion rings with bare hands. It made me feel sick to my stomach I ate my meal before discovering this! Clearly, this is the norm and not ok! We stayed uptown at the Alder Hotel and the variety of restaurants and bars and cafes in the uptown neighborhood was amazing. We stopped in at the company burger ™ for lunch a few times during our stay the staff was energetic and efficient, and very welcoming. You can order your meat to your favorite cooking preferences. Disappointing. The tator tots were fried well, but too salty. The frozen strawberry margarita was all tequila (not all a good thing, but not a good taste) and the burger was raw. Never tried this place. It's not a huge place but adequate for about 30-40 people with our feeling cramped. Being able to watch them cook the burgers and the chill vibes was nice and enjoyable. Getting there is kinda rough in a way because of the roads but didn't feel in danger or anything . Now the important thing,the Food. OMG if you've had five guys you'll enjoy this restaurant too! 3 stars for the food but -1 star for the price! I had the Company Burger, which was a decent size burger, and the fires which were done very well but have to be purchased separately and were a very small size. They have reduced the prices on their drinks from what was originally listed on their website menu and that has made this place a better value. It still is a very pricey burger for what it is and I appreciate that they are using quality ingredients but it is still expensive even with that. For what the burger costs here I can go to Whole Foods and buy enough grass fed beef to make a weeks worth of burgers! The burger tastes very similar to one I get at an old food stand (that is on my way to my grandparents house in Mississippi that has been around since the '50s) and they have always used local grass fed beef and I can get their very similar burger for about $3. You can also get a very similar and less expensive burger at The Camellia Grill or Clover Grill. I might return but it won't be very often as at the current price level far bigger and better burgers are a far better choice. FYI the meat for burgers here comes from Creekstone Farms which is advertised as "all natural, hormone & antibiotic free" and is fed on a "vegetarian diet" but corn is a vegetable so they can still corn fatten the cows and meet this criteria. So this standard doesn't mean the same thing as "grass fed" and "grass finished beef" which is the gold standard much healthier for you and has higher omega-3 fatty acids than fish! What has happened to Company Burger?! I haven't had a sandwich since they left the CBD. I saw the chicken caesar salad sandwich promoted on Instagram, so I dropped in to check it out. I used to buy the chicken caesar salad sandwich from la Madeleine and it was delicious. That was about 17 years ago, though. I had high hopes for the Company Burger version, but the sandwich was a disappointment. The chicken filet had no seasoning whatsoever. I tried the filet alone and it was bland. The provolone cheese and caesar dressing provided little flavor. The texture, however, was crispy crunchy. The fries tasted like they had been sitting for a while and they didn't have much salt. This is not the Company Burger I remember that owned the corner of Girod and Rampart. Service was ok. The order taker was staring at the payment terminal, just pressuring me to add a tip, but I'm getting more empowered to select no tip. This tipping has gotten ridiculous. The highlight was Mae Mae's punch, which is a twist on an Arnold Palmer. Tea and lemonade meets orange juice. The OJ flavor is prominent if you don't add ice. With ice, it's more like a traditional palmer. I highly recommend with ice. The overall experience did not live up to the $22 I spent for a sandwich, fries and drink. read more

The noteworthy attribute was the Mayo-bar where they have 4 different kinds of Roumalade to put on your burger.
