Oh... Emmm.. Geee!!! This restaurant is located in the food court inside the mall. I've never been to one of these "Charley's" before, but it's apparently a chain. They had many options for the sandwiches, including chicken and turkey options. I ordered the jalapeño philly steak sandwich and my friend ordered the pepperoni philly steak. Both of these sandwiches were incredible!! I mean, they had flavor, they were extremely fresh and hot, and everything about the sandwich worked together in terms of flavors! The service could, however, have been a little better in the area of friendliness and hospitality, but otherwise, my experience with "Charley's Philly Steaks" was my first time trying them, and I can say I plan on being a very loyal customer now. The food is awesome!

We stopped by the food court before going to the airport. I wanted something that I don't normally eat and chose to eat here. I had a good Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Service was quick also.

The buffalo chicken cheese steAk was pretty darn good. The Philly cheesesteak needed to be chopped up more but other than that it was good

The main reason I will not recommend this location is their false advertising of prices. Their onlinemenu and their HANDWRITTEN menu have different prices than what they charge. In my case I ordered 2 kids waffle wt berries (it does not say add berries for additional costs) for $6 however it was rung up at $9 and my blue line breakfast on their online site and board shows as $11 but they rung it up at $12, mind you I did not have any of their protein as I couldn't have it. Even their kids only price is $7. Here's the thing, I don't mind prices being raised bc we all know our economy is poop. However, don't have one price and charge me another cause I feel lied to, and when asked I was just told oh yeah the prices have changed. Well why not disclose that AT THE COUNTER. To add insult their "fresh OJ" is $7 for a small cup. (Half of a plastic cup) and it taste like they used the full orange without peeling in a juice processor - godly awful and sinful haha. It's a big no for me to go back. My first experience did not leave me wanting to go back. If you go I hope your experience is different.

I ordered the berries waffle with a side of scrambled eggs and grits. The waffle was very good, light, fluffy, soft on the inside slight crisp on the outside. This was probably the best part of my meal. The eggs were just ok, taste like a little to much milk was added. My grits didn't come out with my food, so I had to wait a few minutes for them and boy was I excited. I love grits with my breakfast. So you can imagine my disappointment when I tasted the grits and all I could taste was milk and s. I love stone ground grits, so I was expecting them to so satisfying. They weren't. UGH, they had way to much dairy and tasted sweet. I'm not sure if they put sugar in them or not, but sweet grits are a No No. yikes! I couldn't eat more than two bites.

Chocolate chip cookie (9/10): Highlight of the meal. It's a pretty good cookie. Fruit cup w/ dip (8/10): That dip! Yum. Much better tasting than the dip you get in the grocery store fruit trays. The strawberries and pineapple could've been sweeter, but the grapes were good. Service (9/10) The to-go team member was knowledgeable and friendly. She told me about the catering process, which was helpful. Ambiance (8/10) I picked up a to-go order so I didn't receive the full experience, but the place looked clean and inviting.

It is so rare to find a place where the food tastes the same every single time you visit. I never have to worry about a recipe changing unexpectedly or the quality dipping; it's always that same savory, delicious flavor I've come to crave. Because the food is so good, the word has definitely gotten out! It starts to get quite busy and energetic right around 11:30 AM. If you're planning to dine in, just be prepared for a lively, loud atmosphere--it's a popular spot for a reason! What really keeps me coming back is the complimentary ice cream cone. There is something so special about an establishment that shows appreciation for its patrons by offering a little treat on the house. Even when the restaurant is packed, that gesture makes you feel like a valued customer. For the most part, the machine is always up and running perfectly, unless it's down for a quick tune-up. Overall, if you want a reliable, delicious lunch with a sweet finish, you can't beat this place. It's worth every penny

The Roma is probably my favorite because it is more savory. The positano was a little sweeter than I expected with the fig jam. I love the fig jam. Both sandwiches were great and you can't go wrong Price is pricey Bread is oily Parking is street and somewhat difficult to find, had to walk 2 blocks Only has about 3 small tables to sit outside, otherwise you're out of luck. I took it to go since there was no seating. Overall, I'd definitely come back. I think half a sandwich per person would suffice instead of a whole next time. It still tasted good after being in the fridge for a day.

The prosciutto was heavenly, the sweetness of the fig spread coupled with the spicy Calabrian chilis is out of this world. Sooo good! Mike had the Pisa. Despite the chicken being a perfectly thin cotoletta (yes, I have been taking Italian lessons for the past year ) it was still moist and crispy. The sauce was wonderful and the mozzarella was melted to form the most delightful sandwich. We had planned to get back over there before we left town but failed to. Alas, another reason to come back to NOLA This place is not an eat in establishment but has 3 tables outside for you to enjoy your sandwiches. The young lady who took our order was friendly and pleasant and one of the owners (the mom) chatted with us. Our experience was wonderful. It reminded us of our visits to sandwich shops in Firenze. Panini deliziosi!

If you read…read morethe whole review I'll give you the best tip on how to skip the line (insert shushing emoji) and don't cheat by skipping to the end! Hands down, the best po'boys in all of NOLA. Everything is made from scratch (except the bread, which they source locally), and you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My personal favorites are the Surf & Turf and the James Brown. The Surf & Turf gives you get the best of both worlds (shout out to Hannah Montana). Look it up kids. You get the slow-cooked roast beef with gravy plus fresh Gulf shrimp. Shut the front door! The James Brown is just as incredible: juicy BBQ beef, pepper jack cheese, fried shrimp, and a hot sauce mayo. Bring napkins - you'll need them. Pro tip: go with a group and order a few different po'boys to share. You'll want to try everything. You made it to the end, so here we go. I feel like gate keeping (look it up old-timers), but I'm going to be generous because I love y'all. In order to skip the line, go to the bar area and find a high top or seat at the bar. A seat always opens up quickly. It never fails. You can order from the bartender and the service is top notch. Cheers y'all!

The cheese fries are a sad shame. It's just melted cheddar that immediately solidifies on regular fries and gets super greasy. The fried pickles were good. The grilled chicken poor boy wasn't it - it was bland. The gumbo was good but quite watery - not many ingredients. Very little rice. Not pictured - the cole slaw was really bland. The potato salad was the best one. Husband enjoyed the fried shrimp. The roast beef tasted like cat food - terrible texture. The merch is super overpriced ($25 for a dog toy? Out of a vending machine!) The bathrooms were air conditioned and clean.
