I ordered a custom order for my 30th birthday and WOW PPF Staten Island did an amazing job and I had the most positive experience. 10/10 recommend! Thanks Tommy!

Priced very reasonably and very friendly owner. It looks like it's ran by teenagers which is awesome to get them started at a young age and to learn to appreciate the hard work that goes into food and servicing customer. Quite a busy area where cars come and go to pick up delicious freshly made pretzels. They have catering options as well. When speaking with the owner, all the ingredients are high end including containing 18 grams of whey protein for each pretzel. You really can't go wrong when you buy their party platters or even bulk orders of pretzels. For $55 it will get you 100 pretzels which is great if you want to do some fundraising in school or a little league game. I've tried the riverets, hot dog pretzel, cheeseburger, and Philly cheese steak. The verdict is they're all fantastic. I love the fact that it's not that overly drenched butter that leaves you feeling terrible but it actually leaves you with a healthy refreshing meal in your mouth.

Big is empty because the pretzels were warm and delicious!

I am a big fan of warm big New York soft pretzels. This place is the best! I just wish they had more locations. The prices are fair and the service is quick. Get the three pack and a soda for the best deal. The sauces are .50 extra and they have many varieties.

If I could give this place a negative star I would. I wanted to go to brunch spot next door but, I noticed that Philly Pretzels sign stated that you have to be a customer to park, so I purchased the doughnuts with Carmel dip $7. The cashier was very nice. I told him I wanted to purchase, so I could go next door. I left the doughnuts because I would pick it up when I left the brunch. I was told by the brunch spot that I had to move my car because Philly Pretzel was towing cars. I respectfully went in and stated "I ordered food, I thought it said once you are customer you can park." There was tall Caucasian man who was preparing dough who was so rude. My goodness he triggered me. He said and I quote, "you are not going to just park your car and leave", I explained that I purchased. He said and I quote "doesn't matter." I said okay, I'll like to cancel, mind you he isn't at the register, he never even came towards the front. He talked to me like I was inferior. I said so "then I'll like to cancel my order." I never had the food in hand. I purchased and left the food with them. This rude man who I believe is the owner or manager then says, "you can't get a refund, I'm not wasting my food, I can't resell that." He was so nasty. Mind you, I told the cashier who was in front of me about the refund. Rather than assisting his cashier he proceeds to yell bout me not getting a refund. He was absolutely disgusting and offensive in his delivery. I said, "there is no need to be rude and unpleasant....I then said you know what, keep the money and the food." I felt so disrespected I left the food I never touched and my 7$. It's the principle. Treat people with respect. I left to get my things from the brunch spot and to move my car, so it couldn't be tow. Five minutes after leaving this horrible Philly Pretzel, the same disrespect Caucasian man knocked on my window to give me my money. I was so offended, I never put my window down and simply waved as way to say it okay and I drove off. I never raised my voice, never was disrespectful. How are you a manager and you couldn't even come to front and talk to me with respect but yet yell your view points from an entirely different area? The money wasn't the issue, it's the principle! Some ppl park and don't even think of purchasing. I purchased out of respect of the sign that said paying customers. I would never ever go to this place. I would not recommend any one who likes to be respected to go to this place.

Since the outside appearance is what you'll notice first, let me just say, it looks dated and old in the absolute BEST way possible. You instantly know probably nothing has changed from when they first opened and you're getting the original recipes. The owner, Jimmy (son of the namesake owner, Tommy), was there to greet us. What a guy. Seriously. This man could not have been kinder. And FUNNY. We liked him immediately. He was patient when we were deciding what we wanted, and he opened up dialogue with us and the other local regulars who came in. We not only learned about his family history, but we got to learn more about the town, too. Always an added bonus for us as we like meeting new people and hearing their stories. My sister got a hotdog with onions and Jimmy suggested I get the chili, cheese, and potatoes hotdog. As someone who loves making chili, I appreciated they make their chili in-house! We also ordered fries to share. Dang these dawgs were GOOD. I loved my hotdog. It was cooked perfectly - and those potatoes on top? Wow, so good. Jimmy is a gem. And Tommy's Hot Dogs is a small business worthy of supporting. I ventured there all the way from the east end of Long Island and would happily do it again and again just to say hi to Jimmy and get another hotdog!

(And that ATM machine at the corner? It looks like it'll not only steal your identity but your soul as well.) My last visit (2023-ish) I tried their 'combo' (one hot dog, one sausage) which was... okay. But when they're slinging a double Italian hot dog? They're firing on all cylinders. Tommy's is not shy to pile a wicked amount of grub into that pizza bread. The hot dogs kind of get lost under a mountain of deep-fried and oily (but delicious) sliced spuds. (I do wish they weren't so stingy with the peppers and onions to really balance out the meal.) The 'Holy Trinity' when it comes to Italian hot dogs in North Jersey is a no-brainer... Dickie Dee's, Jimmy Buff's and Tommy's. (For me - no one comes close to Dickie Dee's but my one kid said Tommy's was his [current] fave.) As for that couple that came cashless? A good Samaritan behind me pulled out a wad of cash (it's not wise to pull out a fistful of cash anywhere you go but it's ESPECIALLY not wise when you're in the rough and tumble streets of Elizabeth, let's be real) and after swapping Venmo information everything was a-okay. Take-out/to-go only. Parking is atrocious. Guy behind the glass - always aces. (Oh, and... cash only!)

I've had the sausage/dog combo before that's like an Italian Dog and I loved it but I had never just had some good old doggies here so I grabbed a couple. Went with 1 with red onions and mustard and 1 with chili, diced onion, and mustard. I love red onions, just a big nostalgia thing to my youth getting dogs in Coney Island at Nathan's. These onions were tasty. The chili wasn't what I was expecting but the crunch from the diced onion was welcomed. The rolls tasted fresh and the dogs had a fantastic snap and delicious flavor.
