My fiancé ordered the chicken chipotle panini, and I ordered the Pete's panini with balsamic instead of pesto on gluten free bread. Mine was GINORMOUS. Easily 2-3 servings. It was way too much food for one person. It was also a bit dry, with pretty much all chicken and little burrata and sauce. I would get something else if I came back. It was also pretty pricey. I've been here a few times. The food was good. The service was very good - until we used a gift card and they charged us a credit card fee. The Acting Manager, who wasn't really acting as a manager should, told us that we were right and shouldn't have to really pay the credit card fee but there was nothing she could do because that's what the manager said. So I asked her to get the manager - she wasn't there nor did she answer her cell phone. One of my favorite restaurants on the island. The mozzarella en carrozza never misses as an appetizer with its plum tomato sauce with capers. If we're talking entrees, the Pete's Panini is my go-to, but the Pollo Daniel is my favorite dish on the menu. Despite going to panini grill for a cheat meal, I don't even feel too guilty after. Everything I've tried on the menu is always seasoned well, has the right acidity, and all in all hits the spot. Another plus is that they offer complimentary fresh foccaccia bread with a variety of spreads as you wait for your meal to come out. However, I've never waited too long for my meal despite how full the restaurant is on weekends. As for the ambiance, I absolutely love when the place is decorated for Christmas and Halloween. The way they decorate both for the holidays and at all times of year gives the place a unique charm. The food here is to die for. The vibes are always so fun and you can tell the people who work here legitimately love what they have going on. Very nice menu nice drinks also. it was a Friday night and they had live music which was really a treat. Appetizers were all very good and filling. Our main courses were very good also but everyone was so stuffed. We wound up taking much of the food home. Owner treated us to a calabrese pizza which was delicious with nduja . They surprised me with a big birthday candle and a lovely dessert that had cannoli cream and whip cream was very good. We will start with the initial waitress attitude and move onto the cheap frozen chicken wings that was doughy, not crispy and had 1% meat. Ordered a medium burger, got a rare burger. Ordered well done veggies zucchini and broccoli and got undercooked broccoli . They brought out an extra plate and expected me to remove each piece of broccoli from my plate to the other so they can recook. . So now I have my meal no zucchini undercooked broccoli and hubbie cuts into his mooing burger. They go to take it back into kitchen and now we've been there an hour. I don't think so. We are done. We had to pay for the cheap frozen wings and the shrimp dinner they messed up even though our whole dining experience is now ruined and we just want to leave. $50 for nada, nothing, zippo. Last night we took my daughter and several friends to Panini Grill for her 21st birthday and it was amazing! Not only was the food great, but both the restaurant decor and staff made it a fun and lively experience. We brought a cake and they brought it out with a huge sparkle candle, turned up the music and the staff sang to her (several other patrons also had birthdays that night). They were very accommodating with our food order (we did "family style" by ordering several appetizers, salads, one large pizza double sliced and several orders of two types of pasta to share).
