Stopped into PPF for some pretzels. I got a box of rivets the smaller pretzel sticks. The pretzels were fresh. The rivet box comes with two dipping sauces. The price was a good value for the amount of pretzels. read more

Monday, 1/27/25 @4:50 pm. Employee: 18yo blond white female. I entered this store to make a purchase. I asked if she could change a $50 bill. The employee replied "what is the matter with you, can't you read." and pointed to the sign. I asked where to get change and she told me I was talking loudly. I apologized and explained I am deaf and tend to speak louder when I feel attacked. She replied this is not her problem and will refuse service. She told me to put the items I intended to purchase back as she has decided not to sell them to me. I told he she was being very disrespectful and she replied "Your a F___ Bitch." I began to cry and asked why she is being so disrespectful. "I do not care about your disabled husband in the car....my father is dead." She said "go you F___ Bitch...I only have 30 minutes to close and she (woman in back room} does not speak English." read more

I ordered a large tray of pretzel rivets for pick up at 1pm. When I arrived I was told they had just sold my tray to a walk-in customer (as I was walking in I passed this customer) because they didn't have any ready for sale. The manager then advised me this is a common practice and I would have to wait as they were getting ready to make more rivets. The manager then attempted to blame me. What? I cancelled the order and left. Isn't that why you place a pick-up order, so they are ready when you arrive and you don't have to wait? To add insult to injury, I had given them a tip with my order. I felt like I was in a Seinfeld episode - they know how to take the pretzel order, but not provide the pretzels. The manager set a poor example for the employees; customer service really needs an upgrade. They also didn't credit my card, so I had to dispute the charge. Avoid this place. read more

Visited yesterday around 6pm. Very slow. The two staff members we saw weren't conversationalist. I got the pretzel hot dog and 5 pretzels. The cashier only gave us 3 pretzels and the pretzel dog, and she wasn't very enthusiastic. When she held our bag while waiting for my mom to put her wallet away, I thought either she didn't want to be there or she didn't want us there. I grew up in the Philly area and love a fresh soft pretzel. But my experiences at this store have been very hit-or-miss. Several times, I've gotten warm pretzels with that just-out-of-the-oven fresh taste. Can't beat it. On other visits, though, I've been given a bag of pretzels that feel like they were made the day before - room temperature & stiff. One time, there was also a weird oniony smell in my entire order. The service is usually friendly there, their prices are good, and even a mediocre soft pretzel is a decent snack. I just wish they'd deliver their best goods more often. P.S. They also offer pretzel dogs and a variety of pretzel dips; I've only had the cinnamon dip (which is pretty good), but others may be worth a try. read more

Wow, for 25 bucks I got a tray of pretzel rods that could feed an army. We also got the chocolate and caramel dip that were good. These pretzel rods were perfect for dipping. Cheese fondue would be great with. There phone contact lady was very helpful when ordering. Very poor customer service. I waited in the rain for 30 min to get 5 pretzels and I was told that they couldn't sell them to me because I didn't pre order. The woman who I assume was the manager was incredibly rude. I will never go there again and will make sure that I tell everyone I know. read more

I called to place an order but no one answers. It's an automated message telling you to order on the website. I went to the website and thought maybe I could order and pay at the store but that's not an option. So I was going to pay online but then I got a message that I had to create an account before paying online. Frustrated I opted to go to the store to place my order. Super Bowl Sunday: yes, I waited a long time in line, in the rain. But it's Super Bowl! They were swamped with customers and did as good as they could in the situation. I was there right before closing time, still a huge line to handle. The employees were still pleasant and accommodating. My pretzels were fresh from the oven and delicious. My child loves soft pretzels, and drive by a few times a week so we used stop in often. They are so good when they are done right, and other times they are disgusting. We only get the no salt pretzels so I know exactly what they taste like, and for a while the caustic solution was so strong that we literally could not swallow the smallest piece. One time my child actually started screaming that it was burning her mouth. I went back and exchanged them and the second batch was no better. The had an odd odor to them, and I had the girls working try the batch and they couldn't swallow them. I called to let them know, and was told that I could come back anytime to have my purchase replaced. I received a call from the owner the next day, and she basically questioned the validity of my claim since no one else complained about it the rest of the day... hmm the baker that night agreed with me and two year old that loves pretzels doesn't start crying after tasting a piece. Well she said she'd replace the pretzels I paid for and send out some gift cards in the mail. I never got anything, and finally went back to get a replacement batch since I held onto my receipt. The experience has completely tainted my opinion. read more
