We came here on Christmas Eve for their official opening and it was wonderful. Service - as expected - was warm, yet authentic. Been to many Philz's before, so I had an idea so the ambience. I loved the flow, since the waiting for coffee is separated by the wait/eat area. If it's your first time, you can't go wrong with the mint mojito. We ordered a cookie + crossiant, which we haven't had before, and it was delicious! Overall, 10 out of 10! My fist time to visit this coffee shop. The shop was clean and bright. Isaac was there to help me. I guess I looked'lost'. He gave me time to look at the menu and then took the time to explain the coffee I might be interested in. He proceeded to ask me questions about what I might want to add. When I went to pick up my drink, he even asked me to take a sip if it's how I wanted it. It was perfect! Even the temp of the drink was perfect! I'm glad I came here. For anyone going to this location you better lower your expectations. My coffee and my girlfriend's were really water down. We couldn't taste the coffee at all or the flavor we got. Not milky either, just tasted like water. Yeah no. Not coming back. Friendly staff though read more

I really don't mean to be annoying with this post. I also feel for the baristas here because it gets super busy and they're working hard. I love Philz and come to this one often but I was a bit frustrated today. Today I put a mobile order in at around 9:45 and the app said it would be ready at 10:10. It takes me about 20-25 minutes to get to this Philz but it's the closest one to me and I always think it's worth it. I got to Philz to pick up my drink since it said to check in and it wasn't ready. The app refreshed and said it'd be ready at 10:25. Checked again at that time and it still wasn't ready. Then it refreshed to estimated pick up at 10:45. Had to ask for a refund and drove 20 mins, waited there for nearly 40 mins for nothing. I asked why the app told me it'd be ready at 10:10 and also why it told me check in when it wasn't ready and the response from management was "well it's because it's getting busy" and the tone of the lady seemed annoyed. Well if it's that busy don't turn your mobile orders on? I know a lot of cafes that will turn it off if foot traffic is high. If I knew it'd take nearly an hour (maybe more because the estimated time just kept going up) to get my drink I wouldn't have mobile ordered it in the first place. I also probably wouldn't have been so annoyed if the app hadn't told me it'd be ready at 10:10 and to check in with the barista at 10:10. read more

This place was great. The line was long but the servers were very attentive and even gave out free samples, which lead us to buy the food. There was a lot of staff and they were pumping out coffees quick. Once the coffee was ready, they had us take a sip to see if it was too our liking before we took it! 10/10 read more

Haven't been here before but I plan to go back. I find it funny that there's a girl there with the same first name as me. I saw her name card, and didn't get a chance to ask who she was, and would love for her to make my drinks one day. Anyways, I went earlier today with my husband Roberto, we got 2 pistachio spices. My husband has rather picky customizations but even then they got it right. My husband did go back to get it a bit sweeter, but I'd say the service given by Tyler was great, and the rest of the staff too knows him, and he jokes and says he finally got the app since he goes almost every day and had gone so long without it. He says his drinks are always consistently great and it's why he comes everyday. He loves the staff here as did I in that small encounter I realized why Philz is actually different than other coffee shops around asking us to take that sip. Store was clean, and everyone seemed to be having fun. I'll definitely have to start coming with my husband more often. read more

Horrible place. Went to pick up my surprise bag that they offer. I paid online and went to get it and when I arrived there were 2 young girls there and I showed them my proof of purchase and they didn't accept it. Said I needed to "swipe" my card again. It shows on the receipt that it was paid for with proof of payment and they still wouldn't give me my stuff I ordered. I was very upset! They had horrible customer service and rude! Will not be going back and will complain to corporate for my refund! Will not be going back here. Hire better people who know what there doing !!! Zero stars if I could rate them...... read more

Coffee was not the best, usually I go to the Rancho and Claremont locations..and this location is just not it. If you want Philz Coffee don't go to this location go to the other locations that they have. This location is very unorganized and not consistent as all the other ones. read more

Visited this location with 10 minutes to close and I felt terrible walking in but the whole staff made me feel so welcomed and even the manager made me feel good about walking in saying it's no big deal and that they were more than glad to make me my drink. energy was great, music was awesome and they were just so friendly overall. I was so excited to see a Philz open in the area. I got my usual drink, a mint mojito, and I'm sad to say that it does not hit the same as other locations. It's not as sweet and creamy and the coffee flavor is not as strong. Just not the drink I am used to compared to other locations. Granted, I was not able to taste my drink prior to leaving as I was in a rush during my lunch break. So I only realized when I got home. First time I came here, the staff was really friendly and welcoming, and the coffee was perfect. Today was a very different experience. The cashier had a dismissive attitude when it was my turn to order, especially compared to how she interacted with other customers before and after me. When I asked for a specific type of milk, she responded "we don't carry that here" in a curt way and seemed to wait for me to move on, which made me feel uncomfortable.Additionally, the cashier was wearing smart glasses that appeared to be recording, and there was no notice or explanation given to customers. This made me feel uneasy about privacy while ordering. I hope the business considers how this comes across to customers. read more

Decided to treat myself to a cup of Philz today because I was in the area and figured it wouldn't be too busy around 11am and it wasn't thankfully. I went in, ordered my drink and took a seat infront of the baristas. I was waiting for my drink when I noticed it had been 10 minutes since I had ordered and I still hadn't gotten my drink called out. After that, I started to see that people who ordered after me were getting their drinks immediately. I work in a coffee shop too so I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they may have ordered easier drinks to make but once I saw a second person that had ordered after me, get their drink before me, I spoke up and asked where my drink was in queue. She then said the drink sticker had fallen so they were going to work on it immediately. I waited 20 minutes for my 1 drink. Nobody had asked me what my order was because I was waiting there for so long and it was not busy. Like I said, I work in a coffee shop as well so I didn't want to complain but I wasn't given anything to cover another visit or anything. i finally got to try out this location after going to the rancho philz for some time, and i'm a little disappointed in the service and how my drink was made. ivan, who had made our drinks, did not call out or acknowledge me when i was picking up my order and had an attitude as well. i ordered the cashew cocoa and he didn't seem to have added any milk as my drink tasted very watered down. i don't think i will be coming back to this location anytime soon until improvements are made. read more
