There is a lot of farm land and many people own horses. The park is a generous 30.12 acres located directly on Southern Boulevard. Park amenities include equestrian trails, a 10 station, 1.47 mile exercise course, open green space, picnic tables with grills, picnic pavilions which can be rented, a playground, bathrooms, and a ball field. I like how this park has a lot of trees. They provide shade for my favorite part of the park, the fitness trail. On the day I visited people were running their dogs, picnicking, and playing softball. You feel like you are out in the country but less than a mile away is all of the strip malls selling everything you need. Really close to the park is a brand new Aldi's where you can purchase all your picnic items. This is a great place to enjoy fresh air and nature.

I found out online that in 2017 they completed a 2.7 million dollar renovation of Bradley Park. This is one of my favorite kind of parks. It runs at the base of a bridge giving you a fantastic view of the waterway. After visiting the park all I can say is wow! It combines two things I am passionate about, art and history. The 4.4 acre park was the former home of Colonel Bradley as well as the location of his beach club. The Gilded Age buildings were destroyed as were many others during the 1970's. It was why the Preservation Foundation was created, to preserve the historic architecture of the Palm Beaches. All that remains is the Artemis fountain featuring cherubs and the four faces of father time and the historic tea house. Park improvements that were made during refurbishment project include a quarter mile long shell walkway, the restoration of the tea house, and a terrace for the Artemis fountain. Inside the tea house are five informative panels that give the history of Palm Beach. The history begins with the prehistoric legacy of the Native Americans. It then moves to the Palm Beach pioneers, Henry Morrison Flagler, Colonel Bradley, and ends with the Bradley Park Beautification project. The park pathway continues to Lake Trail that was extended to run along the sea wall. Beautiful plants and trees make up the rest of the park. This park had the nicest public bathroom I have ever seen. It was designed to match the tea house. I love how the Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach chose to honor their historical legacy in this park. It is beautiful like all of the parks and gardens they manage. It was worth taking the time to take in the beauty of the park while learning about the history in the area.

Acreage Pines Community Park is one of nine parks in the area. This large park has two sections. The north area has baseball/softball fields, football/soccer fields, picnic area with grills, playground, and restrooms. In 2020 a south expansion was added to the park. Amenities in this part of the park include an amphitheater, multi purpose field, picnic area, playground, restrooms, track, and walking path. Also located in this part of the park is the entrance to the Acreage Pines Natural Area, an 124 acre natural area with walking paths and boardwalk. Both sections of the park are open everyday from 8 AM until 9 PM. This beautiful community park has something for everyone. You can play sports, take the kids to play on the playground, have a picnic, or take a nature hike. A walking club meets weekly for fitness enthusiasts. The park is very clean and well kept and all equipment looks new, especially in the southern expansion. This is a great place to get out and enjoy the best of outdoor activities in West Palm Beach.

It was established in 1963 to preserve this historic neighborhood located on he intracoastal from overdevelopment. The South Palm Park neighborhood is comprised of around 200 homes of various price points that run in a narrow north-south strip between Federal Highway and the Intracoastal Waterway. The homes date back to the 1920's when the earliest pioneers moved into the area to be closer to the city. Growth continued in the neighborhood in the 1930s, '40s and '50s. The South Palm Park neighborhood is named for this passive park located at the east end of 11th Ave South. The park has open areas for play, a beach to launch non motorized watercraft onto the intracoastal, a playground, picnic tables, and grill. The views of the water are stunning. This is a true neighborhood park without any outside parking. You can try to park on the side of the road but you can tell from the people walking in that this park is only used by the South Palm neighborhood.

Their responsibilities include managing the lands within its boundaries for water control and water supply purposes. They must protect the land from flooding by maintaining the canals and other drainage improvements. According to their website "The District is sanctioned to construct, improve and maintain roadways and roads necessary to provide access to and efficient development of certain areas. The District is also empowered to buy, develop, and maintain recreational areas." Since this park contains a lake it is one of the recreation areas the district is responsible for. Coconut Park has a 1/3 mile exercise path that runs around the perimeter of the lake. Along the path is outdoor exercise equipment and benches. In the middle of the lake is a fountain and at the end of the lake is a fishing dock. The lake is stocked with fish. There is also a picnic area with a grill. Whether you are coming to fish or exercise this is a very scenic park . Just keep in mind if you are near the lake, especially when walking your dog, it is important to remember that the lake could contain alligators although I did not see any.

This is a very nice neighborhood park in the 1.546 single family home neighborhood of LaMancha in…read moreRoyal Palm Beach. LaMancha was built in 1978 and expanded upon through the years. This park was named in honor of former Royal Palm Beach resident, Todd Andrew Robiner who was a football player for Palm Beach Lakes High School, a basketball star, and a championship wrestler. While attending Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois on a full scholarship it was discovered during a routine physical exam that something was wrong. It was later diagnosed as cancer and Todd passed away from the disease at the age of 21 on August 20. 1994. There is a plaque with his name at the entrance to the park. Situated on a canal, this lovely 5 acre park has a lot of amenities. These include a restroom, large playground, basketball court, sand volleyball court, boat launch, and fishing dock. In August of this year the park was renovated to include two new dog parks, one for small dogs and one for large. Dog fountains, benches, and new fencing were added to the area. A new kayak launch, expanded sidewalks and a new parking lot were also added to the park. It is very nice to sit on one of the swing benches and watch the ducks and boats sail by.

You can find it on the south side of Evernia Street west of Flagler Drive next to the Meyer Amphitheater. If you ever need parking for that venue you might try this park which has its own metered spaces. This park was named after the Palm Beach Post, a historically significant for the newspaper for the city. In 1910 the paper started weekly before evolving into a daily paper in 1916. The Palm Beach Post is deeply tied to the city's growth on Clematis Street which is the city's historic hub. This green space is mainly used by people to walk their dogs. There is enough room to fly a kite or have a game of soccer. The city also stages events here. The next one is a New Moon Experience on January 18th from 4:30 pm - 8:00 pm. There will be yoga, sound healing, breathwork, and silent disco as the sunset over the waterfront. I think the view of the boats on the Lake Worth Lagoon is the nicest feature of this park.
