I highly Recommend going to Copacetic Rudely Elegant Jewelry! We just went there for a great…read moreEngagement ring resizing (half a size down). Me and my fiancé got engaged back in February 2026 and we got a great ring from a nearby jeweler. The only issue was they outsource their resizing, design and delivery to partnering jewelers so when we were looking to get her ring sized down we would have to have the ring send out for 1-2 weeks to get resized. We got recommended to a jeweler in smithfield 30mins away who was able to do a friend's resizing in a day. As we did not source our ring from them they had mentioned it would take a week and a half and $150 to resize the ring. I called several nearby stores and Don picked up mentioning he should be able to get the resize done in a day or by the next day. Feeling happy with this response we swang by the following Monday at 10am, where we were greeted by Don. He was very nice and welcoming. He handled our engagement ring with care and was able to start right away bringing the ring down to a size that fit my Fiancé's finger nicely. He was cracking jokes and being very respectful while doing so. We dropped off the ring and were told he will text us when it is all finished. To our pleasant surprise the ring was resized a few hours later that same day. This is even after we were told it would take 1.5-2 weeks by every other store (and i called 7 local jewelers). Were we able to come by and Don did great work! The ring was all cleaned, fit snug and secure, and the ring itself looked brand new and the cut wasn't even noticeable. Don also only charged up $35! We will be going back to check out more of the store's unique and beautiful pieces! Thank you Don!

This place is great! My husband brought a pair of his great aunt's ruby earring here in 2012 to…read moremake into an engagement ring. They did a great job helping him select a diamond and to design the ring. I also got my wedding band at MRT's. It's a great local shop! My mother-in-law's wedding and engagement rings are actually also from here. What has impressed me most about MRT's is their customer service. When one of the tiny rubies fell out of my wedding band early on, they fixed it for free. More recently, I decided to get the wedding band and engagement ring fused together, so that they wouldn't rub together (the side wall of the wedding band was thinning from rubbing). I currently live in California and the price quote I got here for thickening the side walls and fusing the two rings together was $200 more expensive than the quote MRT's gave me. When I took the ring to MRT's, they gave me a price quote based on the time and materials to fix the ring. When they realized later it would take more time to fix the ring than expected, they kept the original price quote, rather than raising it, despite it taking more labor. I just received my rings in the mail from them and am thrilled with the result!

The woman was very unfriendly and told me that they couldn't help me, which is fine. However, when I was leaving I overheard heard her make a rude remark to an employee there along the lines of, "Why the f*** would he bring the bracelet here and not go through them (Swarovski) instead??" The whole encounter left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Before I contact Swarovski, I'm going to bring it to Gray's in Barrington. Those guys are super nice and helpful.

On the way back, I just had to stop in. Upon stepping in we were greeted and they let you shop the cases without hounding you. When I asked to try some pieces on, a girl was more than happy to help me. She opened the case and let me go at it, I like this place! This is when I truly get to gauge pricing and honestly, it wasn't bad... until I went into the Dafne case. I instantly fell in love with Dafne's Bracelets. Slightly Boho yet chic, simplistic in a beautiful way. I've just never seen anything like it. The owner, Haylee, was very nice but she never got up from her chair. She basically answered all my questions with me standing in front of her. I am guessing this it the Armchair she was talking about in her article in the Providence Journal "I get to sit in an armchair surrounded by pretty things." [Providence Journal Article: www.goo.gl/tdsU6W ] I asked if I could receive a discount if I buy two and she gave me this speech on how her pricing is very good, lower than normal and I could go check outside myself. Knowing I was being bamboozled, I still purchased the bracelets. I liked the store, staff and this would always be associated with our Trip to Providence (from NYC). Lets talk pricing - Triple silk wrap Navy/Gold bracelet Talulah Cooper: $108 Dafne-collections.com Retail: $88 Online: $87.50 (Free S/H) [Love and Pieces: www.goo.gl/jwE3ka ] Ok, now I feel ripped off, but wait... Wrap bracelet arch linked with thin chain Talulah Cooper: $138 Dafne-collections.com Retail: $148 So I was overcharged $20 on silk item and undercharged $10 on the gold. Interesting... I guess it wasn't all that bad. Knowing this I would most likely stop in again in Providence, but this time I will not be too shy to check online pricing first.
