Tried this New place for lunch. Had Spicy shrimp skewers with a Banh mi BBQ sandwich. Shrimp were soooo good and the sandwich was great. Not as good as my Favorite Lee's but good tasting. Decor was modern and clean, service was prompt and Friendly. Plus great prices! and glad I don't have to go into Modesto for my Vietnamese food fix Will return for sure. read more

Food was delicious!!! Customer service was great, right from the get-go. Lina was our server and she made our dinner very nice and welcoming. Q, was welcoming and inviting as well. We both ordered #1 Pho with everything and they were amazing!!! Broth and meat were all perfect! Given that the restaurant is well air conditioned, eating Pho during summer still hits the spot! I used to like this place, but not anymore. It used to be the best place to relax at lunch and the old staff and food were amazing. Now the food is inconsistent and the waitresses seem to not know what they are doing. The restaurant was filthy, the staff was drinking on the job, and I spotted a cockroach crawling by my table. Good pho! Like, seriously this pho is so flavorful and all of its components are good. The broth has a wonderful flavor, the noodles are perfectly cooked, the meat is fresh, and they give you just the right amount of fixings to add. Delicious and very comforting on any type of day. Place was ok. Portions could have been better. I wanted to eat light but at least be satisfied. I had the Pork Vermicelli bowl. Very light on the greens and was not crazy about the amount of mint leaves. My wife had the drunken noodles and she loved it. My son had a small pho beef bowl good broth and the bowl was good. I was in town visiting family and friends and stumbled upon this Pho place in Turlock. I was intrigued so I decided to give it a try. As I perused the menu I was surprised to see several Thai offerings along with a few Laotian dishes to accompany the Vietnamese dishes. I was in the mood for pho so I went with the flank and rare beef version along with some spring rolls. The time to fill order was a little long but the pho broth was very good and all the ingredients were fresh. As for spring rolls, the key was the peanut sauce and this wasn't a bad one. Some are too thick for me but this one was fairly well balanced. My only complaint is minor. I wish they used actual limes instead of the tiny key lime slices but for Turlock, this is a good sign. Nice to see a little variety. I'm from San Diego and we have several pho restaurants so my rating is based on the many I have tried and this is a little better than average but for Central Valley add a star. As of this writing, the place is a little over a week old so I hope to see it the next time I come thru town. I updated this review because on a second visit, I decided to try the pad Thai. I ordered the bed pad Thai spicy and it was pretty decent. Again they had those key limes but after inquiring about them, they normally use regular limes but their supplier was out so they should go back to regular limes once they run out of these. I wish I could add a half star to this review but it won't let me but as I said previously, in Turlock, it's a solid 4 star. read more

Very good pho and the fried rice is amazing. Compared to the other pho place in Turlock, "Pho America", the pho here is authentic and very tasty! The staff is super friendly and caring! I've eaten here once. I purchased 2 large orders of Pho to go. It was amazing!!! My only small complaint is that my food sat on a table for about 5 minutes before someone realized I was still waiting and handed me my food. The man who helped me was very kind and prompt. He offered me water while I waited. I will definitely be back. I'm glad I have a local spot that sells delicious Pho. I'm just sad they're closed right now. I love this restaurant so much. This is my go to restaurant if I am craving asian food. The servcie is really good and the food comes in a reasonable amount of time. The people that work there are extremely nice and polite. The chicken wings there are really good and crispy. The pho is a good size and price. You get to customize it and add lots of stuff to your taste. I recommend going here! Good food, the interior of the restaurant looks nice and there are tvs there if you want to watch. This place has the most authentic pho I've ever had.. the broth tastes so fresh, the noodles are perfect in texture. Not to mention huge portions. I'm giving them a 3 star because the owner/waiter that serves us each time we go in is always on top of things. He's always very nice. He makes sure our drink cups are always filled. He comes by to check up to see if we are enjoying our dining experience after our food is served. They are a new little place so I know they will improve in their flavors in the area of their pho and the Thai/Lao dishes. The waiter/owner didn't charge me anything after seeing that I didn't eat my pho and for that, I will definitely be back again! went here for lunch because i was craving pho. well, i ordered the chicken pho but i wasn't as impressed as i thought i would be... because according to the other reviews the pho is great! well in my opinion, the pho(the broth to be exact) had a weird taste to it. it tasted like a cream/medicine or something ... the broth tasted not like food to me. hard to explain but basically it wasn't that great. the noodles and chicken were fine tho. i also added meatballs to my pho and they tasted really weird. they were very stiff(tasted very fake and processed) and one of them was cold in the center as if it had been frozen or something. the meatball tasted like a bunch of different things(different meats) put together in one. very processed taste(meatballs) on the plus side, their fried rice was delicious. very flavorful. the chowmein was good it just reminded me of typical Chinese chowmein. nothing special. overall i wouldn't come back.... phoenix noodle house in modesto is better in my opinion. read more

Will give it a four star for our first visit. My wife liked the spicy shrimp soup with lots of shrimp. I liked the fried rice but my wife feels it had just been warmed up. This place is not hyped enough. The food is delicious and the service is awesome! We had Kayla as our server, she was extremely nice, funny, and very on top of her game. Their happy hour is the best! It starts at 2pm and they give you half off appetizers AND BEER. Which is a very very good deal. The pork egg rolls and shrimp egg rolls are so good. I also had the Pad Thai with beef, it was pretty spicy and very very filling. Another time I got the pork sandwich, very well made. This place is so clean from the bathrooms to the utensils. A table never stays dirty for more then five minutes. It's also very roomy. I love this place! read more
