We hate to cheat on Pho 95, however the drive is a whole lot shorter and to be quite honest the food here was really good. We ordered the beef spring rolls, I had meatball pho and Merle had rare steak. There was a heaping portion of meat and noodles. Lots of veggies and giant slices of lime. The place was running very smoothly unlike a lot of opening day places we have been too. I was also surprised how busy the place was!! Clearly we needed a great pho place on the North side. Dang it & fooey. So I went out of my way to stop off here on a cold, blustery, miserable night just figuring that Pho would be the ticket to soothe the tiredness out of me from a long day. I remembered that this place had newly opened and wanted to support them. I stopped in and asked if I can get Pho to go? He said sure. I asked also for crispy eggrolls and sat down to wait. Very shortly they gave me my check - it was a little higher than I thought - and here's why: I was charged extra for take-out containers. Huh? The waiter pointed to it written on the menu and sure 'nuf, it was there. But why didn't the waiter initially tell me that "sure, they can package PHo but they charge a little extra." I can't remember ever paying extra to package food to go. Maybe I'm out of it. I thought the eggrolls were good and everything was very fresh and beautifully packaged (outa be, as I paid extra for that!). The Pho broth was lightly seasoned with Star anise. Good, but I just didn't feel the love. And that's a shame, because I really wanted to - I really want to have this little place take-off up North here. read more

After some friends on Facebook were talking and asking about if Pho 7 was any good we decided to try it. I recognized one of the waiters from Pho Duy there. Generally the first thing we do when walking into a Vietnamese place is smell. I want that smell of anise and beef broth. Not here. Service was okay, not great, not bad. We ordered egg rolls, my wife got the Ga, and I got the Vegetarian pho. The egg rolls were good. Although I have to say that their Nuk Malm is way too sweet, as is typical of most Pho places here in Denver. The broth was decent, you could taste the fish sauce in it. Too much so I think considering it was pretty salty to me. And not enough anise. Wife said 3 anise stars in the pot would have helped considerably. Everything was fresh though. Overall I would rather drive to Pho Duy. On a side note, a drunk fellow came in and sat down at a table. He drank some water and asked them if they would call him a cab. After about 10 minutes one of the wait staff came over and basically pushed him out the door (without pushing him out the door). They never called the poor guy a cab. Kinda sucky. Update: Went to Pho 7 because we were both craving Vietnamese. I had a noodle bowl and my wife had a rice plate. FLAVORLESS is the best way to describe it. AND both of us had upset stomachs last night and this morning. I will NEVER and I do mean never eat here again. Two times and one time is not very good and the next we get sick? The Pho here is quite good. Very tasty broth. Not super crazy about the meat they use for the rare steak, but it gets the job done. Pho 7 has delicious vietnamese pork eggrolls. Also some awesome crab eggrolls. I recently deviated from Pho to tried the grilled chicken plate which I thoroughly enjoyed. Excellent fish sauce too. Very nice servers. read more

We had dinner there this evening...the newness and the clean minimalistic decor was nice. We tried the Vietnamese rolls....tasty. My husband ordered the meatball Pho, and I tried the rare steak. He received much more meat than I did. No fair. The broth was okay. I think as far as what I know about Pho broth...it could have had more body...but with the basil, sprouts, saw grass and cocksauce...I suppose it did not matter, they tout a low sodium Pho on the menu...and perhaps I am a salt addict. I also noticed no sliced jalapenos on the plate of veggies that accompany the Pho. I am sure we will be back. The location is awesome, and I have driven to the ends of the earth when my husband was sick to buy him some Pho for medicinal purposes. I love that they opened in our neighborhood. It's nice to have this little gem so close to home. The staff are always friendly, never have to wait to be seated, and the food always comes out very quickly. The place is kept pretty clean including the restrooms, which is something I always look at since a clean restroom is an indication they probably have a clean kitchen. The is pretty good, has plenty of flavor and they serve it with a good amount of meat. Thier spring rolls are made with lettuce instead of noodles like I prefer, so I wouldn't recommend that unless lettuce is your thing. My husband and I were in the neighborhood so we decided to try this place since it's fairly new. We love pho especially on a cold, raining, and/or snowy day. Their service was very attentive, but the pho was a disspointment. I also tried their vietnamese egg rolls, but wasn't impress either. Still one of my favorite spots. I became a regular because it was close to home but continued to stay because it's probably the best pho in the area. Some might consider it too salty but I think it's just right for me. It's always consistent and a perfect little spot to hang out. Authentic pho! I placed an order for carry out and it was well packed. I was impressed when I opened my foam hinged lid container because it was neat and there was even a foil that separated the rice noodles from the meat and herbs. Waiting over an hour after ordering pick up on the phone. Terrible. They just keep telling you it's coming and people who walk in after you get their order. It's a joke. The best thing about this place is its convenience. Close to work, close to home. The service was good. I've eaten here 3 times so far - one dine in and the other 2 takeout. What was weird is that usually pho places are freeeezing cold, but the time I went in to eat, it was like the A/C wasn't even on. It was 90+ degrees out, hot soup in warm restaurant - no bueno. I usually get the rare beef pho and it's pretty tasty. My friend went when they first opened & had complained that their broth was tasteless. I didn't think so, but I enjoy Pho Duy's broth a lot better. Their fried crab egg rolls are REALLY good, but somehow not on their printed menu, so when my husband went to order for pickup, he didn't realize they were available. Bummer. Their shrimp spring rolls are good too, but their sauce is rather watery and not very tasty. Tastes kind of like watery peanut butter. We also tried the combo noodle bowls on a separate occasion. Similar to any other noodle bowl you'd get at a Vietnamese place, however I felt their sauce was lacking. Their beef was the best out of the 4 (beef, chicken, pork & shrimp). We'll probably continue to go here & takeout if we don't feel like making the drive out to Pho Duy or Pho 79 in Broomfield. read more

We started with some pork spring rolls which were light and good. We went with the traditional pho with flank steak. I love the freshness of all the toppings that they provide for you. Today my girlfriend order takeout for two rice plates however when she arrived she was told she ordered noodle plates(which we have never ordered before) the guy she dealt with proceeded to YELL and belittle my girlfriend and tell her she was wrong; instead of correcting the mistake. They then took the meat from the noodle plates which contain peanuts and different meat onto rice plates and sent her home. The major problem is I have a peanut allergy and order a dish with no peanuts and was given a dish with peanuts! Had I not checked the food before I would have had a terrible allergic reaction. They should have also remade the dishes due to the fact they contain completely different items. These guys always have bad attitudes and terrible customer service. The manager also tried to defend the guy who YELLED at my girlfriend in front of other customers, she also admitted to switching the plates herself.(health violation)They also took 15mins agruging with me instead of just giving me a refund. Needless to say we will be enjoying pho at the many other options out there. read more

This pho is less than a minute from my house, so naturally this is where I always go when I'm craving pho. But even if it wasn't, I think I would still drive farther to come here. The restaurant is always clean, the staff is very friendly, professional, and speedy. I've never waited for a table and I've never waited more than 10 minutes to get my food. It is by far my favorite Pho place in Thornton. The broth is not oily, like other pho places I've been to, and the meat isn't chewy. I've never had a bad experience here. I used to go here twice a week with co-workers. The usual waiter left and things have gone down hill horribly!!! A couple of weeks ago we were checking out and the guy repeatedly wiped his nose and face then handed us back our cards, then he went to the kitchen and delivered food. We were soooo disgusted but decided to check again because we love the place. We were walking in a few days ago and saw him walking to the kitchen wiping his nose AGAIN, we walked out and wont go back.
