The food showed up on time (aka early enough to set up) and it was a huge hit with everyone - we had people clamoring to take the leftovers home! Ian so disappointed because I have been coming here for years. It is my daughters go to got her birthday dinner etc. we sat down and had no greeting for 20 minutes. When we moved to the area we hunted down the best pho place we could find. I think that we spent 3 weeks going to every place with in a reasonable travel time. This place won. They had great food with lots of noodle and plenty of meat. The service was always shaky though but we put up with it because we liked the food. Now the service is terrible! It goes above just not a greeting. They are not even remotely friendly anymore, paying is a nightmare, and now on top of all this they don't give as much noddles or meat. God help if you have an issue cause getting any sort of help won't happen with out forcefully flagging someone down. Cleanliness has taken a dive too. I'm really sad because I really loved this place, now I don't want to go get pho :( read more

The pho here is great! So is menu item 2b. I really like the pho, and they give you a lot of stuff to put in it. I crave this stuff some times. I've tried it at the place in broomfield and it is just not as good there. The only downside is that when I get delivery, they cannot understand my street name. I have to try it like 20 times. and spell it 20 times. The guy hung up too fast for me to add the apartment number in there so when he couldn't find the place he called and he yelled at me! But I don't care, I still order delivery and go there to eat because its delicious. For those of you who don't like the miscelaneous meats in the soup, neither do I so I ask for it with no meat. Try that next time if you get grossed out about pho. read more

My first journey into the world of Vietnamese food. I was very impressed with the food here. It was tasty, fresh and reasonably priced. I asked my server for his reccomendatins, he recommended the Bún Dàc Biêt (#2c mixed noodle bowl) and the Phò Tái Chín(#6 small steak Pho). Both were very flavorful and filling. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the whole bowl, but something also seemed just slightly amiss. I enjoyed my bowl, but...I think that there were a few things that all led up to the feeling of the experience just not being complete. The service was fine - very attentive and timely - order was taken promptly and water arrived just as I was about being seated. The bowl was quick to the table, which is always bonus, because when I show up for noo-noos, I wanted it half an hour ago. The soup was very light on anise and had a really great cooked bone and onion flavor but it was not hot enough, but I like lava hot. The extras plate was fine - all fresh, crisp and plenty of it. Not bad, it's all coming together...Then the tendon bit back a bit. It was oh-so-close to being just right, but it wasn't, and for you tendon eaters, you know that it can be just ever so off putting. The noodles, though, were perfect and slippery, slurpery good! When I get an unbearable hankering when I'm in the immediate vicinity, I'd go back. read more

Feeling under the weather? Having a bad day? Teeth chattering from chilly weather or your climate un-controlled office? This Pho is the cure for whatever ails you. I'm no expert on Pho. I don't know how the broth rates for authenticity, or if I'm even eating it properly. What I do know is that when I lean my face over that plentiful bowl of steaming soup, my worries melt away. After personalizing my bowl (I like the #1 with chicken) with the ample amounts of fresh herbs, lemon, bean sprouts, and sauces, I alternate between slurping up the delectable broth and dragging long rice noodles. My sinuses clear, my spirits lift, and I feel cozy and warm. The service is attentive and effecient, but minimal: they seat you, take your order and bring your food almost wordlessly. I can't decided if they're un-friendly or just have some sort ot peacful respect for their pho and the patrons that come to slurp it theraputically. Either way, I love this place. read more

This is based only on the pork banh mi. What can I say a sandwich is my favorite type of food. The banh mi had the perfect amount of all flavors. The meat was seasoned perfectly. All flavor profiles were there. Sweet, salty, sour, crunchy. This place gets bonus points for opening up at 10 am. I can't wait to come back and try another banh mi, or even more of the menu. read more

I like pho a lot and I've been to several in my area. I like this one the best. They don't use a crazy amount of MSG to where your soup is so salty you're craving water like it's going out of style. Also, the flavor of the broth is perfect. The ingredients you add to it are what makes it awesome. Plenty of sprouts, culantro, thai basil, limes and jalapenos. Service is freakishly fast! And friendly. Occasionally they run out of something and don't have it in the soup...like the culantro...makes me sad, but I'm ok with it. I noticed when the POM is out of it then so are they..not their fault. It's mostly on point. They have good bobas too if you like those and their other foods are pretty yum as well....but all I want when I go there is a Pho Tai...over and over and over again. read more

I have eaten at a ton of pho restaurants in San Francisco Denver and Chicago and this place is the best!

I used to work about two blocks from this place, and I miss it! The goi cuon are so tasty; add some sriracha to the peanut sauce...trust me! Pho is always hot and flavorful and gets to the table quickly. I also love the combination bun noodle bowl. The restaurant can get a little chilly in the winter with the doors opening and closing so I recommend sitting away from the door. Prices are good, especially for large servings. Servers are pretty quick with drink refills. read more

The ambiance is basic, the service is good, there is a TV and a fish tank. That said, the Pho is excellent. The broth has lots of flavor and the brisket tastes great. The smoothies are very good and the egg rolls are good as well. The wait staff is on and off. I have had service from an upset waiter and I have had waitresses be very nice. Love this place! No longer will I need to drive 45 minutes to get good boba tea drinks! The variety of boba milk tea drinks they serve are awesome! I haven't had one that I haven't liked. My favorite is the rose garden, jasmine tea infused with a hint of rose and lychee, then topped with aloe vera jelly. Pho was good and decent size serving. Very tasty! Had the grilled pork vermicelli and it was just the right amount - enough to fill you up but not too much. Good flavors and fresh veggies. Spring rolls are large! Enough for four people to have a serving even though only two rolls come per order. Rolls were pretty good but a little bland even with sauce. Clean restaurant with friendly service! I went to Pho 78 for dinner with my wife for the first time. The interior design of the restaurant has a mixed of traditional and modern look. My wife ordered the rice noodle combo and I had beef pho with Vietnamese eggroll. The pho is pretty damn tasty and the thinly-sliced steak in my bowl is perfection. The eggrolls are really killer by the way; so crispy and tasty and simply wonderful. Price is right, and the pho is good. Not much more you can ask for. Would visit Phó 78 again. read more

It's been a real long time since last we ate here but we were at Home Depot for some stuff and thought we'd grab a quick bite. I had a medium #12 which is the deluxe comb with all the stuff some people fear in it. Not an abundance of noodles but enough and they were cooked alright. The meat wasn't sliced as thin as most other pho joints but it wasn't tough so that still worked. The condiment plate was fresh and had enough of all the essentials. So why the three? Pho is all about the broth for me and this one was just a little too over seasoned. I mean you could tell there was beef flavor in there somewhere but the abundance of anise, cinnamon, clove, hmm maybe cardamon? dunno but whatever the spices were... they were just too overpowering. No amount of lime or bean sprouts could dampen the intensity. Worth another try since they aren't too far from home and the people here are nice but probably not a destination, more a last resort. read more
