Treats every guest like they truly are the only person there? He's incredible. Suggested delicious dishes and remembered our orders even though it was just our third time in the restaurant. Nice people, extensive menu and well executed. Ambience is upscale though perhaps could use a little updating. That being said the service and food far outshine any detractions. I mostly mention the ambience because my partner often judges a restaurant by their architecture while driving by. That would be a big mistake with Pho 89. I have been here twice and both times the food was outstanding. It was tasty, prepared fresh and served hot. The menu offered so many options it was difficult to choose. First time going to a Vietnamese Restaurant. We were scared it would be a disaster. Personally I hate Fish, I grew up in a Seaside town but I only eat clams. I told the young waiter that we were new and I didn't do fish and fish is a big part of the cuisine and he recommended a few dishes for us. I couldn't believe how tasty everything was. Even the spicey chicken wings cooked with a fish sauce, the hot, sour and sweet soup was awesome. Nothing like Chinese HS soup I was expecting. It is very casual here, it's a good place for a quick dinner. Food was decent, a place to go when you don't feel like cooking at home. I read about this restaurant in the paper and absolutely love pho. On the way home today, I decided to stop in to try this fairly new restaurant. The atmosphere was neat, clean and well maintained. However, the AC was blasting at a temperature that was boarder line freezing. I had to get a fleece out of the car in 80 degree weather and was still cold. The food was also fantastic with great descriptions on the menu but service was super slow and inattentive. I had to flag down the waiter more than 20 minutes after we were done for leftover containers and the bill. I didn't want to wait that long after freezing the entire time. I did enjoy the food but next time I will know to bring a heavy sweatshirt and socks for dinner versus a sleeveless blouse and slides. read more

The best dining experience I've had in a long time. I would give this more stars if I could! As you walk up, you smell the amazing scents coming from the restaurant. It's sparkling clean inside and the wait staff is super attentive and friendly. Soothing music in the background, pretty decor. We got seated quickly and everything came out amazingly fast. The food is FANTASTIC. We had a beef salad as an appetizer that was loaded with flavor and fun textures. Their milk tea is not overly sweet. The entrees were huge and also packed with flavor and the price is great for the amount of food you're getting. I've been going to pho 89 in Randolph for many years now. Always had fantastic food there. Recently, they opened a new location in Brockton, five minutes away. Hope they are successful. The food came out piping, hot, spring roll, too hot to touch, followed by the soup, which was just the right amount of everything that makes Pho, Pho. The atmosphere inside was very nice, very quiet, TVs were set to a gentle scenic video. Everything was as clean as any restaurant I've ever been in. Service was great. Quick to attend to me, quick with the tea, quick with the eggrolls, quick with the bowl of Pho! I round, nice and tender, tripe, just the right amount of chewing, broth, not salty, not overly seasoned, noodles... So delicious and right portion. I have always been a big fan of pho on cold days. The pho is rich and flavorful. they always give a ton of side if you love bean sprouts and basil. I ordered to go and the broth was piping hot. Their Thai teas is the perfect mix of tea and milk. The service was very bad, they did not bother to ask us if we wanted water. Personally I believe that's a mandatory thing, is to offer a cup of water without asking. They also added a lemon which I'm not too found off but that's alright. They honestly took a very long time to get our bill, and they did not once check in with us when we had gotten our food until we practically had to chase them for the bill. I order the same food all the time. Great service and great people. I love their soup and their mango smoothies.

They didn't put a warning of what is in the food, with peanuts not mentioned on their pretty intimidating menu with all the food. Though the worker was nice, the pricing I paid just to realize I couldn't eat it was ridiculous. Around $35 on nothing. The inside is relatively odd with some of the TV's stuck on a Roku waiting screen while others show clips of animals, or them being cooked. Unfortunate to say I wouldn't recommend. read more
