This spot used to be absolutely delicious. I was so excited when they finally opened after the second lockdown. They had great portions of pho and a decent price. They have since increased prices which I do not mind. But the pho is full of noodle, very little broth. So little broth that the veggies and meat added on top was sitting on top of the noodles and not in the broth at all. My go to place for pho on a chilly day in Corona. PARKING Located in the 99 Ranch Market plaza. Plenty of parking in the lot. INTERIOR/ EXTERIOR Decent sized restaurant. Plenty of tables to accommodate for different size parties and we've never had to wait during lunch hours. This place is cleaner than the other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. MENU I've only gotten two dishes repeatedly here. The first being their pho with freshly sliced brisket and their vermicelli dish. Their spring rolls and egg rolls are good appetizers too! Still, it can't beat the homemade Vietnamese food my mother used to always makes. We always get their Thai Tea even though it is pretty darn sweet. SERVICE Workers are nice and the colleagues and I don't really have complaints. Once in awhile, the food comes out slow and sometimes the utensils and sauces run low. read more

So this place is a hit or miss with service, but being the only place that has Pho in Corona you do not have that many choices. Plus don't be surprised if they don't bring you an order you asked for or the Bill after you've sat there for 30min done with your food and ready to leave. The Pho is great and I personally love the Oxtail with extra Tendon. The Thai Tea is great too even though it's pre-made. I wish they wouldn't rush you either too when ordering since I wanted to try something new but ended up with what usually always order. The chicken egg rolls here are sooo good. The filling is packed with chicken and pork. When I am in the area I always stop in and order them. I stopped in and had the Pho finally as well, and it was pretty good! The broth had a nice flavoring to it. The only reason I had to knock off a couple of stars was for cleanliness, which is kind of a biggie for me. The front door and glass is always riddled with smears and finger prints (which almost stopped me from walking in my first visit), and where I sat didn't look very clean, dry splatters from previous Pho eaters. I asked for a Pepsi and the waiter said ok. Then other person at the table asked for a diet Pepsi then we were told that the soda machine was busted and this is right after I asked for a Pepsi and was told ok. We asked for lemonade and they did not have anything. We were told that the manager is not in today and they don't know when he will come back. I guess the manager needs to work 7-days a week and he went AWOL . Then we proceeded to order our food; hey we are already there. Mostly everything we asked for they were out of something or just did not have it. I was ready to walk out at this point. To add salt to injury there is a darker skin guy at the counter mocking customers and laughing. Keep laughing this place is disgusting. I did not like the faces being made to us because they couldn't bring us what we wanted and fresh food. If you want to come to a place where obviously they do not care about the customer, the food quality is poor then you hit the best of the worst restaurants in Corona. This place needs Gordan Ramsay to save it from closure. They will be out if business in 2 years tops at this rate. Have fun laughing and mocking your customers. This place was used to be our favorite restaurant for Vietnamese food. However, their service is not good anymore.

I picked up take out hoping to avoid the service I received on my first visit. I got a regular rare pho I took the first 3 pieces of beef and put them in the broth ate it and noticed it tasted off....that's when I noticed the beef underneath was turning brown and not from oxidation... when I put it in the hot broth the smell was obvious it was turning rotten. The pho is surprisingly pretty good! I was a bit worried I wouldn't be able to find a decent pho place in Corona having been accustomed to the pho in Little Saigon, but Pho Anam didn't disappoint. I like their #3 pho tai chin which has both rare steak and well done flank. They don't skimp on the meat either! The soup has good flavor and isn't too oily. This place wasn't bad. As for pho, I didn't feel like it had much flavor, but everyone's different as to how they like their pho. I ordered the pho tai, which I think was about $5.50 for a regular bowl. My friend and I also ordered the Nem Nuong Cuon (2 rolls sliced into 4 = $3.75 or $3.95), Butter Garlic Wings (6pcs = $4.95), and Egg Rolls (2 rolls = $2.95). The Nem Nuong definitely doesn't compare to the Nem Nuong at Brodard's in Garden Grove. This place put waaay too much mint leaves and veggies in theirs. The egg rolls tasted better to me. The butter garlic wings were nothing special. I expected more flavor from it... but it ended up being more fried and greasy than most chicken at KFC. I was probably just unlucky that time, but they still weren't bad. My friend loves getting avocado shakes, but most Vietnamese restaurants don't usually make it fresh. However, she decided to take a chance and I'm happy to say it was perfect! Even I tried some and enjoyed it, which I've never really been brave enough to have because it usually looks unappetizing to me. You could tell it was freshly made with fresh avocados though, which I gave a second thought to order it as well. Personally, I compared it to tasting like green tea ice cream almost, but you might disagree. We were pleased with the shake. Overall, it wasn't one of the best Vietnamese restaurants that I've been too, but it certainly wasn't one of the worst. It was definitely a lot nicer than most pho restaurants. Not so dirty and dingy looking -- it was actually nice and kept clean with very polite service. Not sure if that lowers its "authenticity" of a real Vietnamese pho restaurant since many say that "the dirtier a restaurant is, the more authentic and better tasting the food is." In this case, I'll vouch for this restaurant and say that phrase doesn't exactly apply, but again it wasn't one of the most amazing Vietnamese restaurants either. My friend also liked the artwork/decoration of the place. Kind of small, but it's also kind of an intimate atmosphere for a pho restaurant. If you're in Corona/Riverside looking for a Vietnamese/pho restaurant, this is one of the places I might recommend for you to try. read more

Honestly, it was so good that I have no interest to search for a different pho place. Not only that but they offer an entire vegan menu and vegetable broth! As other people have mentioned, sometimes it takes awhile to get their orders. This wasn't my case. Although, there was a man next to me who supposedly got his order pretty late.
