Sarah was a great host during our visit. Enjoyed a first visit for some lunch with a friend. Inside seating available clean and organized. As of now it's pay by the lb. Fill your to go container with as much protein as you'd like. If ordering by the lb you can fill your plate yourself. If ordering a combo plate staff will fill tray for you just let them know which entrees and sides you'd like. Single, double or three item combos also available. Try all the entrees and find your favorite. Thai tea was great not overly sweet having just the right balance. Located right off the 91fwy exit McKinley North. Make quick right into shopping center head straight back. Same shopping center as 85° bakery. Plenty of parking right in front.

Stopped in for some lunch and been wanting to check this place out since they opened not long ago. Love the options you get such as pay by the weight. By that option, you get to pick and choose what you want at the bar and how much u want as well! They also have bowl and flavored drinks options as well. Definitely a hidden gem and a place to check out! Say hi to Sarah that works here and explained all the ordering options you have. Very nice lady!

I recently came across this small Chinese spot and was honestly pleasantly surprised. It's run by a husband and wife team. I spoke with the owner Sarah and you can tell right away how much love and effort they put into their restaurant. The food is made fresh daily and you can taste the difference. Nothing was overly sweet, salty, or oily. The flavors reminded me of simple home style cooking, the kind of food your mom would make. The broccoli was bright green and still had a nice bite to it, the chow mein noodles were soft but not soggy, and the shrimp had a light crisp texture. They have a hot bar where you can pick exactly what you want. There were options like chow mein, fried rice, broccoli, shrimp, mushrooms, and different chicken dishes. When I came around 5pm right before the dinner rush they had just run out of orange chicken. Sarah offered to make a fresh batch if I wanted some which I thought was really kind. Of course I said yes and it came out hot and crispy. The pricing is very reasonable. Food is charged by the pound at $6.29. Mine came out to around $9 and the portion is big enough that I can easily split it into two meals. I already have rice at home so this works out perfectly. You know those days when you don't want to cook but still want something warm and comforting and not fast food. This is that kind of place. The restaurant is clean and looks newly remodeled compared to the previous owner. I like that you can choose exactly what you want and only pay for what you actually take. Another really sweet gesture was Sarah giving me a Thai tea on the house. It was creamy and refreshing and honestly made my day. For anyone wondering about location, it is in the same plaza as Carrot and Daikon and there is plenty of parking which makes it easy to stop by. Sarah also mentioned they are thinking about adding malatang in the future which would be exciting if it happens. She plan to add more items to the menu Overall this place feels like a little hidden gem. Good food, fair prices, and very kind owners. I will definitely be back.

Bumping this place for the tasty and cheap food, good protein options, and potatoes! Potatoes are the so delicious and theyre a great source of complex carbs. Literally the sweetest lady that helps you out as the owner. Very clean and very chill place to eat after a long day at work! If you want, bring cash to support them with tips too!

By pound or plate, anyway prices are good! Food is great. Thai tea delicious. I got the rice noodles as a base and everything else went well with it. Healthy option with food flavor options. Customer service 10/110

Was really craving Chinese food, and came across this location. I loved that they had amazing options of food and that their other option was either to pay for a plate w/ choice of sides or by pound. What an amazing idea I went with paying by the pound and wow I was able to have a lil of everything with that option. My craving was totally satisfied. Customer service was amazing really friendly, the location is clean and organized. I will definitely come back. I'll be recommending to family and friends.

I don't think I've ever been so excited about trying out a new restaurant! This place is awesome and I hope it does well. We were hesitant to come here at first because we thought it's just spicy food, but they have a little of everything, even seafood. It looks like a buffet, you select the food you want, as much or as little, and then you get charged by the pound. This is great because sometimes I'll want to order something but try other items. The owners are so friendly, Sara even said if we wanted to try something she would give us samples. Sara and her husband Yang just opened this restaurant 17 days ago. We had been to this location before and the new owners have cleaned up very nicely. It is so bright and spacious. I like that there is not much on the trays, that tells me the food is fresh and they're constantly cooking to replace the food. Our two orders came up to 2.50 lbs which was a little over $15, what a steal! Our favorites were the curry chicken, coconut shrimp, salt and pepper shrimp, potstickers, kung pao chicken and sesame balls (fresh and steaming hot!) You can even order "Special Bowls" with 1 side and 1 item. I don't ever think I've written a review this long, that's how much I like this place!

As soon as you walk in you are greeted, the place is super clean and the food smells amazing! All of the food is fresh and hot. The price was GREAT! Think of it as a bufffet to go! You choose how much you want & you can mix and match everything! Food was delicious. Andddd let's not forget the thai tea & milk tea we were gifted. Definitely will be back!

Wow a full plate and Drink! So fresh, delicious and filling for $10!

Brand New Spot opened up in Corona off McKinley. This is not your ordinary Chinese Fast Food restaurant. You serve yourself from an open buffet of food items. Pay by the Pound. They have a great assortment of freshly cooked Shrimp, Chicken, Fish, Beef, Rice, Noodles and Vegetables. The food was so fresh, hot and flavorful! They also have Boba Tea and Freshly made Passion Fruit Tea, it was so good and refreshing. Please stop by and enjoy this unique fast food experience and support this new small business. Say hi to Sarah the Owner she is very happy to serve you and your family.

Everything was really good. It was refreshing to find a place this close to home that actually hit the spot--even my parents thought it was good, which says a lot. We usually end up driving out to Rowland Heights for Chinese food, so having something like this down the street in Corona is nice. The pan fried shao mai was probably the surprise favorite for me since I've never had it prepared that way before. The xiao long bao wrapper was a little thicker than what I'm used to, but it was still good. Honestly, nothing we ordered disappointed. Food came out pretty quickly too, so even though there's usually a line, it moves faster than you'd expect.

I didn't even bother to write a review at that time, but had submitted five photos, some good, others not, that told the tale. So this time, with some trepidation, we gave them a second chance. Glad we did. This time was different. Two dishes, the black bean ribs and the salt & pepper pork chops, turned out great. Not only did they have good flavor, both dishes were quite generous and meaty. And if we had stopped ordering right there, I wouldn't have had any reason to drop a star. It was the dim sum that almost ruined it. The siu mai (8 pcs) were small and oddly fishy tasting, lacking the traditional aromatics. One bite and I knew there was no way I would continue eating them. No reason to bring them home either. Was I willing to just throw away my $13? No. Disappointed, I bravely told the server, and then, the manager. I got a "deer in the headlights" response, followed with a "what's wrong with it" query. Awkward moment. But, minutes later, the server returned from the back kitchen, and the most miraculous, unexpected thing happened. She said they would take it off my bill! Honestly, I was not expecting any resolution. But in wisely doing this, they frankly rescued the situation and my attitude. I respected that one gracious gesture. So, while the siu mai will still never be anything I order here, there is a vast menu to explore, and a few dishes I already know will not let me down. Two of these were from our first time, the char siu baos and the shrimp with scrambled egg. These were good. That said, this is a decent business that proved they wanted my business. We will come back.

It took about 40 minutes just to get our drinks and have our order taken, and then another 50 minutes for the food to arrive. I politely asked several times when our food would be coming out. The restaurant was not very busy and there were several open tables, so I wasn't sure what the delay was. After waiting an additional 15 minutes, one dish came out, and a few minutes later the rest of the order arrived. Unfortunately, the server also brought the entrée I had clearly canceled when placing the order. I explained that I had canceled it, but she insisted that my mother had ordered it. I calmly told her that I was the only one who spoke and placed the order--my mother hadn't even asked for anything. She continued insisting that we keep the dish because it was already made. When I politely declined, she pointed at my mother and said she had ordered it. My mother responded that she hadn't even spoken. At that point, the server raised her voice and became aggressive, saying we had ordered it and had to keep it. Her attitude shifted completely from polite to confrontational. We remained calm and did not escalate the situation. Eventually, when she realized we weren't going to argue or cause a scene, she took the dish back and walked away. That reaction was completely uncalled for. Additionally, I observed something else that was concerning. A group of African Americans and Hispanic men came in, and there were about four tables open at the time. They were told they had to wait 40-50 minutes to be seated, while other guests who came in after them were seated right away. From what I witnessed, it felt discriminatory based on how they were dressed. That was very uncomfortable to see. At the end of the day, this is a business. We can't pick and choose who gets service. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect. This is my personal experience and observation. I won't take away from the fact that the food was delicious, but the customer service was awful and the delays were absurd. If a restaurant is busy and the food is this good, there should be enough staff scheduled to provide proper service. Because of the service experience, I will not be returning.
