Such a great find! Everything was so good. We got the turkey my way and that jalapeño pesto was so unique and so delicious with great jalapeño flavor but no real heat. We split the sandwich. Everything was very good but it is a little on the pricey side. We spent $30 for one sandwich, two chips, two drinks and a piece of tiramisu. Considering the sandwich itself was $12 that was a pretty expensive bag of chips. But everything was delicious! read more

At first the little gremlins weren't all that enthused about a deli. When we walked in and saw the menu, though, we all gravitated towards turkey items. OUR ORDER + My Way Turkey Melt = $11 + Kid's sandwich with turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo & mustard = $6 + Combo (bag of chips and canned soda) = An additional $3.50 per person My youngest daughter and I really loved the My Way Turkey Melt. It's one of the more popular items probably due to the slight kick of the pepperjack cheese and jalapeño pesto. Our Italian-inspired sandwiches were prepared panini style which I love because the outside of the bread had a slight crunch, but everything inside remained tender and juicy. The lone restroom was clean. There was indoor and outdoor seating - something I adore about Carlsbad having lived in Southern California for so long. Service was awesome! Friendly and quick to prepare meals. Great option for lunch. I'd be here at least once per month if I lived in this town. Free, minimal parking on the south side of the building. If you're parking a larger vehicle or towing a trailer, you'll have to find a side street and walk there... or do the old drop your daughter or wife off so she can run in and get your order while dad drives around with the trailer. After visiting the Caverns, we found this great deli for a late lunch. I had the Calabrian on foccacia and my partner had the Godfather hero. Some of the best sandwiches I've had anywhere, with ingredients you won't find at a chain sandwich shop. Excellent service in a vintage storefront. Well, they didn't have turkey. But I'll give them a pass. The sandwiches were quite good. The toasted focaccia was the highlight of two of the sandwiches my group tried. While friend got pressed Panini style sandwich. The place had a nice outdoor area to dine in the back, although we did not get to use it, because we were in a rush. This little deli has HUGE flavor! Our faves were the grilled cheese and the "three little pigs." Great portions, excellent service and locally owned! Do not skip on this! The establishment is clean and quaint with ample table size for the huge sandwiches! Fresh ingredients that are not common in that neck of the woods for an excellent price.
