I've probably been here more than my fingers can count. The customer service is always great considering how often my family and I come. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The food is delicious! I often get the vermicelli with the fried spring roll and meat - very tasty and filling! The spring rolls are also delicious - however the wrap was a bit dry (at the edges), but still good! The peanut sauce is my fav! Probably going to come in again this week haha!

" I'd like to offer some feedback about my recent dining experience. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue specialty. Expecting it to look like the photo on the menu. However, the soup I received was quite different. I also ordered the shrimp salad and was surprised to find it consisted only cabbage and shrimp. While fresh it lacked variety and additional ingredients that might enhance the flavor Such as herbs or different vegetables. I understand that price increase, but the $20 price for the soup, compared to the $10 it was a few years ago, felt high given the portion and what was served. Finally, I noticed the restaurant's cleanliness could be improved. The walls and floors appealed dirty, and dusty, which distracted from overall dining experience. Based on this visit, I'm hesitant to return, but I hope this feedback is helpful."

Outdated review, since we haven't eaten here in about a year. Food is pretty decent here, though definitely not the best Vietnamese I've had. I'm personally not a fan of their beef pho. I found it bland and wouldn't order it again. None of my friends who ordered pho seemed to be excited. On a return visit, I did find myself loving the grilled pork vermicelli bowl, which was huge and filled with juicy, perfectly grilled pork. My husband got some kind of lemongrass specialty soup that he also loved. Would definitely recommend that over the pho. We also enjoyed the house special wings, which were crispy and flavorful. So overall, the food is hit or miss. The atmosphere is surprisingly nice for a Vietnamese restaurant, and it's a place I wouldn't mind bringing a date if I were single. Prices are fine. The location is right in the center of Malden. We might be back in the future for bun, but for now, it's not our first choice for Vietnamese in town.

I ordered delivery and I ordered spring rolls and smoothies. Instead of the five dollar smoothies, they gave me a can of Coke. Refused to refund. On top of that my spring rolls came burst open and impossible to eat. They literally stole my money and made no effort to make it OK. Will not be ordering from them ever again.

Visited this place off the recommendation of a close friend who used to live in the area. The interior vibe of this place was unlike the typical Vietnamese restaurants back home in NYC. I loved the open glass doors that this place had that let in so much natural sunlight. Our friend told us that this place was hands down the best pho he's ever had by far. Wow this place lived up to that expectation. I don't know why this place isn't rated higher. It really has some aromatic and flavorful pho. I don't know if I could definitely say that it's the best pho ever for me but it's a really darn good pho. We also tried their Vietnamese crepe which our friend has seen on TikTok and it was surprisingly very pleasant and crispy. The sauce it came with was also delicious. I would definitely recommend this to visitors or locals. It's amazing pho.

We got pho bistro for pick up for our dinner wnd we got the pho dac biet, grilled pork over vermicelli noodles and fried spring rolls. The spring rolls were very crispy and the sauce it came with had a nice kick to it. The grilled pork was super tender and the vermicelli noodles had a good chew to it. The pho dac biet had very tender meet as well and the broth was very rich. This is a great place to visit for some classic pho!!

There's almost always table available walk-in so it's a nice casual spot to get a quick lunch. We like the shrimp salad a lot - big portion and very flavorful. The pho is a nice dish to get on a cold winter day and they have a wide variety of meat combo for pho. We also recommend the fresh lime drink - a great refreshing drink to start the meal!

This place used to be stellar. Came in today, and there is an apparent fly infestation that they refuse to deal with. Had to swat flies away from my food, and counted at least 15 on the wall next to me. Could not finish my meal due to them LANDING ON MY FOOD! I asked about this and was told "there's nothing we can do, it's a new season". This is unsanitary, disgusting, and unacceptable.

    60. Bun Bo Hue Dac Biet/Hue special soup
    Marni M.

First time trying this place. I ordered their bun bo hue in a regular size which had bean sprouts, basil and lime wedges on the side. The broth had a strong lemongrass flavor and was slightly more viscous than others, which I loved. However, service was very slow and inconsistent. Prices were also expensive considering the portions we received did not match up. If it weren't for the service and cost it would have been an easy 5 stars. Probably will make my way back.

Pho Ga at Pho Bistro in Malden MA
    Bruce K.

Stopped in for lunch on a hot day and when it's hot, what do you want? A huge bowl of soup. Yep, that's me. I just really like Pho Ga, the Vietnamese version of chicken noodle soup. Pho Bistro's was delicious with a rich broth, plenty of chicken (not sliced, this was pieces of pulled from the bone) and a good knot of noodles in the bottom. It comes with the usual fixings including plenty of bean sprouts and a big spring of basil. Sriracha and hoisin on the table. Very nice for lunch.

Came to this restaurant with my husband to try their famous Pho. I ordered a Vietnamese pancake.. it was very delicious. I like this pancake particularly because it was not greasy at all. My husband said he does not feel guilty after He ate it as his appetizer. Order their. I ordered their full broken rice plate. It came with all their goodness. Again, it was not disappointing. My husband tried the Pho. He loveee it.

    Wonton Soup with Egg Noodles

When I'm craving pho or anything soupy, the best place to go to is Pho Bistro. The service here is really great. What I love most about this place is that even though it is busy you never really have to wait to be seated. You also get your food super quickly. I normally order pho or bun bo hue (a favorite) here, but I opted for some wonton soup with egg noodles. The broth was perfect for me. Not too salty or bland. I love the garnishes that was already placed in for me. I didn't really need to add anything else even when they gave me the usual mints and bean sprouts on the side. Now I'm usually picky with my wontons because some places over cook their wonton causing the wrap to be super soggy but my wonton was perfectly intact. I might have to order this again because it was just way too good. And not to mention the broth was hot and I don't like it when my broth is warm because it just doesn't taste as good when it's like that. Parking: street parking, garage parking (few mins away), and public parking. Price: $$ For two people I usually spend less than $20.

Vietnamese cuisine is traditionally rooted in affordability, sharing an abundance of food, and enjoying good laughs with great company. By trying to force the concept into a high-end parallel, it just ends up feeling mediocre and hollow. The value simply isn't there--a single appetizer, one main entree, and three refreshments came out to a whopping $105. To make matters worse, the service was incredibly judgmental. Because our party of three only ordered that amount, the staff pretty much ignored us for the rest of the night after taking the order. The awkwardness started the absolute second we sat down. Before we could even settle into our chairs or get handed a menu, the waiter demanded to know what we wanted to drink. When we asked to see a menu first, he looked completely confused as to why we'd need one. After another staff member finally took our order, we sat there waiting for what felt like an eternity. When the food eventually arrived, they gave us sharing plates and chopsticks. We asked for a spoon to properly eat the claypot rice, and the waiter gave us another judging look. As Asians, we obviously know how to use chopsticks, but you objectively need a spoon to scoop the claypot SAUCE out of the pot! While the food itself is decent, the cramped atmosphere, poor hospitality, and inflated price tag mean I won't be rushing back. I might grab take out for the dumpling platter and cat fish rice pot but definitely not sitting in again.

For entree, I ordered pho while my husband ordered the bun cha Ha Noi, and my kids shared the rice plate with pork chop and fried egg. My pho broth was very clear, and very light in flavor. It was very reminiscent of how my mother would make her pho, very subtle flavors and with wide pho rice noodles. Long's pho I would say is more akin to Northern Vietnamese pho so if you're looking for more salty and fragrant pho, this might not be for you. I love additional pickled vinegar garlic slices that are available at each table as well. I have never seen this at any Vietnamese restaurant in MA. The bun cha Ha Noi, the was good, but I would try something other next time. The rice plate we ordered had pork chops, fried eggs, and what was supposed to be pork skin, however, the pork skin was not up to standard so the owner replaced it with grilled chicken for us. Pork chops were a little over cooked. They are still very new. I think playing some music will help with the kitchen banter. Service was friendly and fast. Food came out at a very good pace.
