West Bethlehem finally gets a Vietnamese restaurant. I started with the Summer rolls. Pork, shrimp, cucumber, carrots, and the like. They were some of the best rice paper rolls I have had in recent memory. Served with peanut sauce, they were terrific. My Pho came out piping hot. The broth was a little flat for my taste, on the baseline test. Once I added all all the fixings, it was pretty decent. They offer dark chili oil on the table, which many places do not. This gives the soup a rich smoky flavor with great heat. The rare steak was plenty, as were the tendon beef balls. Great texture and chew on the beef balls. The noodles were cooked to perfection. Basil and sprouts were fresh. It was a good bowl, and I will for sure be back. read more

This is an excellent restaurant for Vietnamese food. The noodles in the vermicelli were cooked perfectly and the accompanying fish sauce had the perfect balance of sweet and salty. The meat was also grilled very nicely and flavored well. The pho had a clean broth that also had a great amount of flavor. Simple in nature and very comforting. To top it off, the staff were incredibly nice, friendly and attentive. Their food rivals that of the surrounding major cities. I live in NYC and Pho Bowl's food is good, if not better than what the city has to offer. Very impressed by this gem in Bethlahem. Will definitely return if I find myself in the area. read more

Don't get me wrong-- it had flavor, but just not enough (this is coming from a Viet person who has been eating pho all her life). The texture of the sliced beef felt old and cheap... These guys are really nice fairy friendly it's very clean there's always a smile on everyone's face they seem very proud of their food. If you want to sit down with a group definitely go on off hours there's only 12 seats. If you want to bowl of pho and you want to just get in and out you could do so in 30 minutes. I ordered the drunken noodle with chicken "spicy hot" which had the perfect amount of heat and was delicious. They were doing a brisk carry out business while we were there which is a good sign. A very new restaurant that just opened January 10th, this is a great ETHNIC addition to the Bethlehem restaurant scene. Food is very tasty and seasoned appropriately to what you request. TLDR: Very friendly and helpful staff! Delicious food! We will be going back. We shared the curry puffs to start and they weren't greasy and were packed full. I had the Pho House Special and the meat was tender and the broth had plenty of flavor even before adding the red pepper and lime. My girlfriend had the drunken noodles which had an excellent sauce. The portion sizes are just right to boot. To wash it all down we each had a Thai iced tea. The atmosphere is friendly and we were joking with the staff the whole time. When we left they even gave us a handful of the hard candies from the counter. All in we spent just over $40 tip included so If you like authentic cooking at affordable prices it doesn't get any realer than this. My only complaint is that they closed at 9 pm so be sure to get there early (This was a Friday night). FYI they don't have alcohol and I didn't ask the policy for BYO. read more
