Next time no added protein. I ordered side salad, but really wanted Papaya Salad. I was surprised they don't make Papaya Salad here anymore. Tom Kha chicken soup was creamy with unique flavors. Chicken Mango Curry was best I've had. Chicken Red Curry was also good. Coconut pudding was too small for $10. This restaurant was always clean and nicely decorated. We each had drunken noodles, mine was shrimp and my hubby had chicken. More of a kitschy place to dine in but at least it was open for dining in. Traveling and saw the reviews and the menu and figured this was for us. We both enjoyed the drunken noodles (flat rice noodles-one of our favorites) my wife had shrimp at a medium spicy level. I had chicken at a true Thai level (think volcano breath). It was excellent!!! As my wife says, if my face turns purple, I'm enjoying it. Place is tucked in a residential area, and we witnessed a good volume of takeout. Interior is a little kitschy, Disney memorabilia everywhere, mismatched chairs & worn flooring. We went there tonight for a birthday meal and the service and food were incredible. We have been here before and always had a good experience. Don't let the unassuming building exterior fool you. Fabulous food and service! Our meal arrived piping hot, just as it should (unlike many other places that serve lukewarm dishes). The interior is cute, clean, and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Our waitress was very attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The satay chicken was flavorful, and the curry chicken was exceptional--rich and aromatic. The only suggestion for improvement would be to change the music. The loud pop music and intrusive political ads detract from the dining experience. A switch to mellow, traditional Thai music would better complement the cuisine and create a more authentic and relaxing atmosphere. This restaurant is is warm & cozy. It has excellent food & service. It is decorated beautifully. My friend took me to the Thai Diner & it was enchanting. I ordered dumplings which could be dipped in a cucumber sweet sauce. The pineapple fried rice contained chicken, shrimp & pineapple . Absolutely delightful & reasonable. The wine glasses are provided & an ice bucket. The dishes were served on intricate designed plates. It was a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this awesome gourmet feast. Food here is excellent! This little hole in the wall will not disappoint. We were so pleasantly surprised at how god this place was. I know authentic Thai and this is really up there. The food was fresh and everything made from scratch. The mango sticky rice is incredible so save room for dessert and bring your favorite Thai beer, because it's BYOB. The service was top notch. The food was perfect and the portion sizes made the price worth it! Our server was great and funny, always checking in on us. A suggestion to the restaurant, I would say maybe adding instrumental music would add to the ambiance. Even with every table filled it was quiet and when I talked with my husband the whole room was silent. Many Thai restaurants stateside are a let down. They frequently cater to American taste, which takes away from the authenticity of the cuisine. This is not the case with Thai Diner. Our first time here was one of the few times I experienced the food actually being made Thai way, outside of Thailand. The tom kha with vegetables was very good! It had an excellent balance of coconut creamy goodness and that gritty umami I loved so well in Thailand, and the heat was actually as hot as asked for. The drunken noodles were quite tasty. The portions of veg were overflowing, thank you! I'd have liked a bit more noodles. The scallion pancakes were flaky and crispy, very nice. The green curry was lacking and was thin. There really wasn't much flavor, just heat. Bummer. The iced tea was pretty good. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. First off, one of the best Thai places and restaurant experiences I've ever had. It's a small restaurant but there was only 1 waiter for about 8 tables and he was super nice. We were a party of 7 and food came out pretty quickly. My friend ordered 1 star but was still too hot for her and so she told the waiter and he said we can keep it and let other people eat it and he will remake it. And we accidentally spilled the flower water on the table and the waiter ran to the back to grab a bunch of paper towels to clean it. And for the food, everything was amazing. From the udon basil to the pad se ew and the curry and pad Thai all was amazing! This is definitely a place I recommend for the food and for the service and especially the waiter. What a wonderful dinner experience. Parking is limited, the outside or name is not comparable to the quality of your food experience. It is well lit, no red carpeting, BYOB. We started with steamed edamame and curry puffs. Edamame, take them or leave them, the curry puffs were savory, very flaky pastry, just a hint of sweet (the less the better for me). The cucumber dipping sauce was sweet. didn't use it. My main was the ginger fish which was fried red snapper, bone in, which is typical of snapper, served with jasmine rice. Very delicious, no complaints. My daughter had penang tofu curry, I tasted, the tofu was a bit soft, it is hard to get a good crust on tofu, the sauce which she ordered level 1 spicy was really tasty! This is a really nice restaurant! You may have to do street parking but it is worth it to check out!! read more

Really good Thai place for the area. Better than the fancy one on Main St Bethlehem. We started out with the fried tofu appetizer with sweet chili sauce. It was really good. The perfect amount of crispiness on the tofu and the sauce was great. I had the mango curry. The mangoes were actually perfectly sweet and ripe. But the sauce was a bit bland. I would've appreciated more of a mango taste to the curry sauce and a creamier texture. It was a little watery. The overall taste was fine, but I wasn't very satisfied with it. My partner got the pad see aew and liked it. It had its' authentic taste. I guess overall, the place is nothing too special. I think what got us excited was the authenticity of the food and the variety in the menu. We didn't expect to see a place like this in the area. We definitely want to come back to try the rest of our usual favorites and see how they do - i.e. pineapple fried rice, crab meat fried rice, bang bang shrimp, lobster pad thai. Will update when we do. But if you are looking for good Thai food in the area, this is probably your best bet. read more
