I googled later and found out that it's a chain from Arkansas. There are locations in Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, Ohio, and PA. We all ordered warm bowls. I got the Poke Bowl with Ahi Tuna and an Avo Coconut Smoothie. I ordered the sriracha bowl with added tofu and chickpeas. Our friend got the teriyaki bowl with citrus chicken. The only con was the utensils were impossible to use. They kept on breaking and could not cut anything. Wish they had reusable options that were a little more sturdy. It seems there has been a few misses here in the past but overall, it's a top vegan spot. There are places near me that offer a vegan gobbler too but I don't always notice. Community and pretty Internet pictures help a lot. Reading some of the owner's struggles and seeing her in full force now is very inspiring. I am grateful for the opportunity to be able to have some quality vegan food and to be able to support such strength without it feeling forced or unnatural for me. What could be "better"? A bigger place, more parking would be nice, more specific dates on when something is offered rather than me having to know the vibe that specials are likely Mon- Sat and Sun is likely no specials unless they happen to have that special leftover. All the staffs were extremely courteous and attentive. We ordered the Lomo Saltado and asked for yellow rice. The beef chunks were cut to perfection as we prefer this slicing rather than thinly sliced as you seen elsewhere. It had the right amount of marinated taste, accompanied by tomatoes, onions, and fries. Additionally, it had the perfect salt seasoning without overpowering. As we got to the place right when they'd opened, they did mention it will take about 1/2 hour for the chicken which we didn't mind one bit as you must appreciate the freshness. Once served, the chicken was absolutely moist and tender and didn't feel like we had to fight hard with the utensils with slicing. For appetizer, we shared maduros sweet plaintain and that too hit the spot. If you pay in cash, there is a minor discount which is a nice option.
