I have gone to Touch Thai several times whenever I'm in Bethlehem, and have always enjoyed it, but this last time was not good. I went for an early lunch. First, it was about 90 degrees outside, and they wouldn't turn on the AC. I ordered what I usually get; Beef Samrod, which contained very little beef or green pepper, and a whole lot of onions, which I thought was excessive. I should have sent it back. I wish this place had lunch size portions, but they don't. At $20, I felt I didn't get my money's worth. Will I go back? Doubtful. A shame. read more

Nothing terrible just a lot of overpriced "meh"... got the Drunken noodles with pork and it was over sauced not spicy and included way too many big slices of onion & oddly, broccoli (not my experience with drunken noodles usually). The meat to noodle ratio was good but the portion was too small for price. I ALWAYS have extra to take home when I order Thai noodles. Here, scraped the plate clean, except 10 big onion slices, and still hungry. I almost ordered a bowl of my fav Tom yum soup but when I found out it was $7 for a CUP, I passed. We came in without reservations for dinner time. It was okay. Nothing to rave about. I've had better thai food for better pricing in other places. The service was alright too. Nothing out of the ordinary. We had a large party with different orders. They ran out of this dish that I wanted to try so that was a bit disappointing. So, I ordered something else which was just eh... average. I got a seafood dish, which was supposed to be spicy, but it wasn't. It looked spicy though, but looks can be deceiving. A very disappointing experience. Brought a friend to introduce her to Thai food for lunch today. Arrived 12:40 and all tables were available which seemed odd for lunch. Menus weren't in the best condition but we dismissed that and decided on the wrong choice of staying. Both ordered pad Thai which was the worst I've ever had. Tofu was soggy and just didn't have a nice taste. Ordered a simple meal which took more time making than it should have. Server was pleasant but after bringing our meals she never returned to ask if we needed anything. Our hot meals were cold within minutes because of the cold temperature inside . Had to ask her to bring the space heater to our table since it was uncomfortable wearing heavy coats. Had to get up and approach her as she sat in the back viewing her computer. Needed straws, napkins, sauce for flavoring the dull, small, overpriced meal, a water refill, and some warmth as expected. The only attention we received from the server was when she brought the bill. Placed on table and within one minute was back for payment. However, I have been ordering the drunken noodles & pad Thai for the past few months and I noticed it became more flavorful. I asked for the spring rolls and they brought me very small one inch rolls to dip in sauce. They were tasteless with hardly any filling ( if that's what you want to call it ) in them. Maybe a tablespoon full. Please, what was that? I then ordered pad Thai with chicken. It had some sort of sauce in it to make it seemed that they knew what they were doing. Food is good but DO NOT USE UBER EATS! Was basically charged twice for delivery, and there is nothing I can do about it. Used Uber eats many times with touch Thai, no issues. I accidentally ordered something that a member of my house is allergic to. I didn't know what to do, so I immediately called the restaurant advised them I made a mistake and to cancelled the order. They did so, and Uber eats updated to cancelled, 4 minutes later I placed a new order minus the one item I mistakenly ordered, got my food and it was good. A couple days go by I notice the first charge is still on my credit card. I contacted touch Thai they tell me that it's on uber eats, uber eats app has a support chat, spoke with them was told they would email me, they never did. I contacted uber eats again, they said they escalated it again, never received anything. I then contact my credit card company, they filed a charge back and uber eats disputed it stating my food was deemed undeliverable, despite me having proof it was cancelled my credit card company said they need me to provide them with proof it was cancelled on uber eats end. So I contact uber eats again they told me there is nothing they can do, as the restaurant accepted and tried to deliver my order that was cancelled, Uber advised me that they paid the restaurant and uber took their cut. Also Uber eats said I only had 48 hours to contact them about all of this. Uninstalled Uber, will never go back to Touch Thai. So in short touch Thai stole my money. read more

Don't use Eat24. If you're thinking of ordering take out, call directly to Touch Thai! Yelp's Eat24 ordering system doesn't allow the vendor to contact customers when their order is ready for pickup. Instead Eat24 sends an email (see attached) saying that your order will be ready in 1hr. When in actuality, the food was ready for pickup 20min past the order was made. This is ridiculous. EAT24/Yelp charges honest family vendors like Touch Thai for their "service" when they are actually providing a "disservice". So if any of the other reviews complains about the long wait time, it's not TouchThai. Never using Eat24 again. This sort of experience is not the first time it's happened with other vendors. Just call Touch Thai and the sweet manager/owner will let you know when your order is ready for pickup. Other than that, the food was great and perfect for when you have a Thai craving. read more

This has become our go-to Thai place... Really, our go-to takeout place when it gets too late to plan a meal and cook. I love their drunken noodles-- they remind me of an amazing noodle dish at a shop I grew up near. They're chewy and savory and just the right amount of spicy. My husband likes the pad see aew-- it's very sweet and almost cinnamon-y, but has the same tasty broad rice noodles. Recently, we dined in for lunch and I was unfortunately a little disappointed. The restaurant smelled a little strange, and I ordered an entree, the rama dish, which was small in portion size and not that flavorful and (I'm pretty sure) made with frozen veggies. So, lesson learned-- we'll stick with being frequent takeout customers and have many happy at-home rice noodle meals! read more

Extremely disappointed with this place. Went here with a large group of students that I work with as part of a fun spring break celebration. As a group of 10, we expected we'd bring in a fair bit of business and they'd be excited to see us on a slow day. Wrong. We were actively ignored for most of our stay despite being the only people there. The owner appeared to be more interested in watching TV on her laptop that attending to us or the restaurant. Despite her service, she added an automatic 18% gratuity for the group size and was bristled when we only added a few extra dollars to it. I could forgive the attitude if the food was good, but it wasn't. The portions were small. The calamari on my Basil Fried Rice was gummy and overcooked. Finally, most of my students reported finding gnats or fuzz in their food. We won't return. read more

Solid Thai food restaurant. My wife loves Thai food and we have come here a few times. You can't go wrong with any of their curry's. Their portions aren't huge like you can get at other restaurants but they are not small either. I have noticed that their specials for the day are always the same. I love that my friends and I can come in on a week night with a bottle of wine and grab a meal that comes out hot, quickly. We usually sit and talk for an hour or more, depending how busy the restaurant is. Service is fast and friendly, but I do sometimes feel like it is so dead and the staff want us to leave so they can go home for the night. Touch Thai in Allentown, PA is a small intimate restaurant, clearly family operated, and very good. Service was personal, and constant. This was lunch and very accommodating. The food was fresh, cooked well and with attention to the spice strength requested. There were perhaps six other patrons while I had lunch with a friend, and that filled more than fifty percent of the restaurant. Lovely place and I will definitely be back. read more

One of the best Thai restaurants in the Lehigh Valley. This place recently opened up, and is competing with Thai Thai down the street. Touch Thai is way better, offering up more authentic, tastier, and fresher dishes for cheaper prices, as well as way better service. The staff here is so accommodating and pleasant. I am always bringing my family here whenever they visit (I go to Lehigh), and am often ordering takeout from them as they deliver across the bridge to the south side (it is an added plus, although their delivery can get expensive as they have a $15 minimum, which is why I am taking one star off because it is sometimes a nuisance to order something extra when your order is say, $12). Overall though, I really enjoy eating here and the dishes I have had are not only some of the best in the Lehigh Valley, but are some of the best compared to other Thai restaurants I have eaten at throughout the US. My favorites include the chicken in basil sauce, green curry, pad thai, drunken noodles, and the papaya salad. read more

We walked in here today at 1pm on a Sunday for brunch. The decor had an Asian rustic feel without feeling too old or very modern. The low ambient lighting offered a comforting feel. The restaurant was very quiet with three other tables being served. One thing to note is that on weekends, there are no lunch specials so please keep that in mind. Service here was friendly and adequate. Didn't even had to ask for refill for my glass of water. We ordered a Thai ice tea which we found sweet and tasty. One annoyance we find was the straw was just as tall as the cup, small nitpicking detail. I had a chicken pad thai which normally isn't spicy but I asked to make it a level 3 spicy. I didn't really taste it being spicy so not sure if it was added or if level 3 just isn't very spicy but your mileage may vary. The dish itself was good, what you expect if you ever had pad thai. Nothing to rave about but nothing to complain about either. The same can be said about my partner's pad see ew. Overall, the dining experience was nice. Something more along the lines of casual nice dining with decent Thai food. read more

Sorry Touch but you gotta give me a little more in my 22$ peanut steak than two little pieces of broccoli and four quarter-thin carrot slices that, if totaled together would be less than a half inch slice of a whole carrot, and 1/20th of a whole head of broccoli. When we got there, there was one other table seated, and they left as soon as we sat down. Ordered the curry puffs, thai iced tea, drunken noodles and pad see ew. Everything was delicious and on par with my other Thai experiences. It was our first time trying drunken noodles and WOW. The noodle is so soft and yummy and the sauce has great heat - but addicting so you keep eating more. The portions are great. We took home lunch to eat again for dinner! The interior/exterior might look rough around the edges. I prefer clean and well lit atmospheres so it can scare customers away - but the food was delightful. read more

We ordered take-out from this restaurant. Their food is very tasty. Pricing is also reasonable. We had the grilled shrimp for appetizers, spicy bamboo with beef and pad see ew with chicken. Everything tastes great! The spicy bamboo can be a little too spicy if you don't usually eat spicy food. For us it is just prefect. Pad see ew has chinese broccoli which really adds something to the flavor. I would recommend this place if you are in the neighborhood looking for thai food. read more

Okay, so I haven't had a sit-down dinner here, yet. I can't speak to the in-house service at all. All I can say is that everything that I've eaten here has been fabulous. I usually order for take out, because I work nearby. We've also ordered for delivery, and I kid you not, we've gotten our food in under 30 minutes before!! Now, THAT'S great delivery service!! My favorite items are the Eggplant Holy Basil, the Drunken Noodles, the Crab Rangoon (which I haven't liked anywhere else,) the Pad See Yew (which I became quite addicted to), Tom Ka soup, Tom Yum, and a few other random dishes that I can't recall at the moment.
