My go to spot for Pho! Always have great service and the food is super yummy. I've gone at various times on different days of the week and it's never been overly packed so you shouldn't have trouble getting a seat. The beef pho broth is bland as hell. I tried them in 2019 and then again in 2022 and it's still not flavorful at all. It taste super plain

For some reason I always want Phõ on a Monday. And they're closed. So when Tuesday comes and I have to eat tacos, I'm even more jonesing for phō. So finally on Wednesday and we get to go...I'm always excited for putting their delicious foods in my face. The phō is delicious. The broth is sweet and rich. I've had their meatballs, chicken and seafood phō. I'd say the seafood is best. A little spicy without too much heat. The spring rolls are heaven. I want one right now. The vermicelli bowls are also really good. I don't know how they cook their pork but it's heavenly. Omg I'm craving it RIGHT NOW! I don't like fro-yo, but they have that too. I love this little place. The service is excellent. I never have to ask for a refill and they keep the table clean while you dine. And you can't beat their prices for the generous servings and consistent quality. I also love that I've never had to wait longer than 15 minutes for hot food to touch our table. My sister and I go there at least three times a month. Sometimes more. We get the same thing each time we go and it never disappoints. On a cold day it's the perfect place to go. I give five stars for the Vietnamese food. We had the frozen yogurt and would give that a 1 star review because it was more icy than creamy. The Vietnamese food was absolutely wonderful. This was our first visit and my wife and I started by splitting the steamed pork dumplings. Once we had them we knew we were in for a treat for the rest of the meal. There aren't a lot of places that do steamed dumplings and fewer still that do them well. They were done to perfection on this visit. My wife had the Spicy Seafood Pho and I had the Well Done Brisket & Flank Pho. Absolutely wonderful. It had been a long time since I had had great pho and this place was such a tremendous treat. We can't wait to get back for the cafe side of the house. We both decided to have the frozen yogurt for dessert and were not very happy with the product. The yogurt for both of us was icy instead of creamy and lacked any depth of flavor - it was rather bland. We've had difficulty finding a good frozen yogurt place in Baton Rouge and this was just one more on a long list of disappointments. read more

Let's face it.. I'm only here for the PHO lol. They have a good selection of froyo and toppings but the Pho is always full of flavor, clean, and comes with a plate full of fixings. Traditionally, there are other items on the menu. I have tried the Pork Vermicelli as well and the flavored were on point. The establishment is always clean and the staff are always friendly. I have to admit...nothing beats my wife or mother's Vietnamese cooking. So I am actually very hard to please when I rate a Vietnamese restaurant. However, this place is good if you don't have a Vietnamese family member or Vietnamese cooking know-how. The egg rolls in my opinion are a little too skinny...meaning a little bit more meat would make it better. The bun bo hue was actually good. Service was prompt and friendly. A Cute and clean little spot for some pho and fro-yo! Service was good and it didn't take long for my Bun BO Hue to be ready! Overall it was good, nothing too special. The beef in the soup was a little tough and chewy but the soup base was tasty! Didn't have room to try to fro-yo but they have a large variety. read more

Okay so my first experience I ordered broth and veggies and found some type of meat in the broth. I believe it was a piece of pork or beef and I told them I didn't eat meat. It accidentally fell in there was there excuse. I gave them one more chance. I called ahead and let them know what I wanted. Called back once I was close which was a 25 min drive and was then told we are out of bean sprouts. Wait I just spoke with you and told you what I wanted to order which included extra sprouts. They waiting until I was near to say we have been out all week! Ok that's it back to my normal spot or making it myself. It just so happen my normal spot was closed both times I tried them. And their price is higher than some other local spots that taste much better. read more

Decent vietnamese food in Baton Rouge? Thank the lawd! I spent a couple years in New Orleans, which has a fair sized Vietnamese community, so I was eager to check out Dream Berrie Cafe when I heard about. The interior is a little jarring. Actually the whole thing is jarring because it's a Vietnamese......./yogurt place? Clearly they took the yogurt stores' route in terms of decor. It's very sparse and clean looking. My food has been reasonably good. Not spectacular though. The service has been spotty but not too awful. They usually mean well at least. I usually get pho. I would say it meets my expectations concerning flavor. I also must say the serving was large enough that I took about half home. Going by my dining mate's responses, some of their food seems a bit toned down in terms of flavor. The prices are fair. But this is a vietnamese place in freaking sherwood forest so how much can I expect? Surprisingly I tried their yogurt too, which was the real disappointment. Such bland flavors. I really hope they plan to rotate them. Probably the most unique one was some jolly rancher/gummy bear one(forgot the name), but it tasted sickening sweet. I wish they would have dropped this and focused on food but half the people in there were purely getting yogurt so I guess it was a smart business call. The business is somewhat under a stranglehold do to clientele (not downing my La. People, just a lot of y'all aren't very adventurous eaters if the food isn't neouvo cajun). This was my first time having Pho in a very long time and I am so glad we ate here! The selection was huge and the portions even bigger! The wait staff was friendly and attentive to refills. They have a kids menu with milder flavors that went over well with my semi picky six-year-old. If it isn't your thing they have a wide selection of meat entrées as well as classics like spring rolls and eggrolls. The peanut sauce with the spring rolls was so delicious I think I could eat it every day. The atmosphere is very casual so we were not having to shush our children every few minutes, as is the case and some restaurants, which made for a pleasant dining experience for my husband and I. And don't forget about the frozen yogurt! What a great way to get your semi picky eater to finish their dinner. They had six flavors to choose from the evening that we went. Ranging from classic vanilla to see salt Caramell and double chocolate. OMG What took me so long to get here? I guess it was the name--very misleading.. Seeing how I'm not a big fan of fro yo, I wasn't going to step into some place called Dream Berrie with a pic of fro yo on the sign! But the husband was struck by a craving for pho last weekend, what with the weather being so cold and rainy. So I found myself here. Only two people were dining on a Saturday night, and so I kept my expectations low. But I needn't have worried so much. The first thing that I liked, and other reviewers have noted this, this place is really spacious and clean. You can sit where you want. and the service is pretty quick and efficient. The husband ordered some steamed pork dumplings with dipping sauce as appetizer. Delicious! I think I devoured three dumplings in two bites! Next, he got the pho which came with the usual assortment veggies and meat in flavorful broth. He also got a small side of meatballs in soup. I managed to steal a spoonful from his bowl when he wasn't looking, and it was goooood! I got the combo noodles which came with seafood, pork, chicken and veggies and soft noodles. yum yum! I added the sa te sauce which spiced up things considerably--just the way I wanted! While we were eating, people started trickling in. For dessert, we just hopped over to the other side of the restaurant and got ourselves some fro yo with toppings. I left with a box of leftovers which I had for lunch the next day. Great Pho, but only one server so he was a bit distracted. The Yogurt soft-serve offers a bit of relief if you "over spice" your pho!!!

What an amazing place. Went for dinner with my 2 children from the moment we arrived we felt welcome. At no point were we lacking anything and food was amazing. I had rare beef round pho, daughter had chicken pho and my son had beef friend rice. All of the dishes were perfectly cooked and ready very promptly. The kids had frozen yogurt which they loved! Dream Berrie Cafe is a small Vietnamese Bistro on Sherwood Forest near the I12 exit that specializes in Vietnamesw Cuisine and Frozen Yogurt. Although I did not get a chance to try the Frozen Yogurt I did eat the Pho Dac Biet and Shrimp Spring Rolls. The Spring Rolls although not great were decently cooked. They were filled with shrimp, vermicelli, cucumber and lettuce. The ingredients were relatively fresh with a very tasty peanut sauce. Although the quantity was quite meager with only 2 rolls the quality of the dish makes it decently worth the price although maybe a tad expensive. The Pho Dac Biet itself although not incredibly tasty was quite fresh and delicious. For restaurant Pho I would give the Pho here a solid 7.5/10. The broth was tasty and not too oily, while the noodles although good were not seperated before serving. The service itself was mothing special although friendly. In conclusion Dream Berrie is a quaint little cafe that is a tad overpriced however the food is tasty from my experience. I do recommend it! PEACE! read more

We came one evening; it was just us and our grandson. When our grilled pork spring rolls came out they seemed fresh but mine had such a hard burnt piece of pork that I had to pull it out. But upon pulling it out a black hair came out with it so we sent it back and told him don't worry about making us anymore; I kind of lost my appetite for it. Well that was a bad idea. I wish we had them make it while we were there eating because in the order of spring rolls we ordered to go there was an approximately one inch long, thick, jagged, piece of plastic in the new order. We found that out when it stuck my daughter in her gum. I don't know how you could possibly accidentally miss that when rolling a spring roll. While we were there the two young male waiters stood by the counter talking and made no effort to keep the language being used clean.
