I ordered delivery and they packed my soup with a fly stuck on the lid on the inside, dead and wet. I don't know how you managed to not see this fly as you're packing, and how they even get inside like that if the restaurant is kept sanitary. I'll start by saying that service was on point. The one woman managing the front of the house never stopped moving-- she was taking orders, running food, checking on guests, clearing tables, and closing out bills for a more-than-half-full restaurant. Our drinks and seaweed salad arrived as quickly as I could have hoped for, with cooked-through tapioca pearls in my milk tea and a premixed Vietnamese coffee. I'll probably skip the summer rolls next time since I prefer peanut sauce over hoisin sauce with that particular app. The pho overall was just okay: excellent quality meat, but somewhat light broth and clumpy noodles. I'm glad I skipped the seafood pho, since I'm not a fan of imitation crab sticks. I intend to come back during offpeak hours (parking can get competitive in the shared strip lot) to try the pho ga and teriyaki beef short ribs, if for no other reason than to throw more money their way. read more

My teenage son and his friend eat here semi regularly. We went yesterday and the interior was clean and well lit. Pleasant for sitting and enjoying a meal. The boys have gone enough times that the staff knew their order (which the boys love) and I would say the staff/management are very nice, better than you expect. I enjoy the gyoza and P9 brisket and skirt flank. I will admit I don't eat Pho that often, but 3/5 of my family do, and they say the food is excellent and keep going back. The place and the food is a five star! The service is a 2.5 star. My niece and I wanted Pho yesterday and happened to find one 5 minutes from our home. We never knew there was one there, it is right next door to the Crab shack. In the shopping center at New Hampshire. There is plenty of parking around, but it is rare to get a space right in front of the store. We went in there is plenty of space to sit. The waitress just said hi and asked if we are eating in or in. We said in, she only left the desk when we said we are eating in. I ordered a honeydew smoothie and seafood pho and my niece had the number 2 well done. Our food came after 2 to 4 minutes. This food was well cooked, I have had shrimp Pho in two other Pho places and the taste was different. I recommended to come here if you want well cooked pho. The first thing I'm going to say is that two of these 5 star reviewers have only written one review...and that's of this restaurant...so take those with a grain of salt. My family and I went here tonight in what I think is their third day of being open. The decor is pleasant and there's gentle piano music playing over the speakers. The staff seem friendly and there is a very cute baby running around. I'll post a picture of the menu but as you'll soon find out, it's not very extensive. Here's what I can tell you about what we ordered: Mango smoothie: big and yummy. My 10 year old loved it. I thought it was pretty darn good too. Gyoza dumplings: not very big but tasty and a nice appetizer. Vietnamese fried egg roll: a little pricey ($4.25) for two but okay. Nothing out of the ordinary. Grilled chicken and rice: we wanted to order the pork chop but they were out (or didn't have it yet). The chicken was a little dry but had a nice flavor to it. There's a very light breading on it too which gives it a little extra something something. Bo vien pho (meatball): the soup was very nice and the noodles were perfect. The meatballs were less chewy (tripey) than I've had in other places. They had a delicate flavor, shall we say. The basil and bean sprouts were nice and fresh. I saw an order of the fresh shrimp summer roll go to another table and it looked awesome. I'm definitely ordering that next time. All told I would say it was a good but not great meal. The bill was also a bit steep considering the amount of food provided. Considering that it's about 7 minutes from my house, though, there's a 100% chance I'll be coming back. If the owners are reading this, might I suggest expanding your menu to include spring rolls and maybe a lemon grass pork? read more

Second time here, strawberry boba smoothie, meatball pho and seaweed fries - it was perfect. The soup wasn't as flavorful as anticipated, also saltier than I'm used to but we ate it all and were happy. Good portions, great service and clean environment. The "pho" used to be 5 star, unbelievable, especially surprising in a strip mall. You could really taste the painstaking efforts to boil the bones for the best broth. And the seafood pho... to die for... Yum! It could compete with the some of the best Pho in the country! But since the covid pandemic it's gone down to a 2.5 star. Perhaps they lost their best cook, I don't know what happened but I'm very disappointed! I've tried it several times, and well, it's only gotten worse. It used to be worth traveling great distances to eat this food. But sadly, the pho, now is just barely average, nothing noteworthy, an average strip mall pho joint. Tastes like, dare I say, a broth mix packet with minimal portions. Heartbreaking! Don't let the 3.5star turn you off! We came here as our regular pho place (Pho Real, also amazing!) is closed on Tuesdays. First time here and it's excellent! There are lots of options for whatever my mood is for pho - beef, shrimp, tripe, etc. The broth is very flavorful. The bean sprouts are always crisp and the basil leaves are never even bruised - its like witchcraft! I also want to recommend the seaweed shaker fries and the Gyoza. Both are delicious. So lets start with I work in the shopping center so I really wanted to like this place. The pho is not bad, nothing special but not bad. Appetizers were satisfyingly. The problem is when you get the the teriyaki. The price isn't great although with inflation im usually ok with that. That problem is the contents. The NY Steak Teriyaki: Very fatty steak, way undercooked broccoli and carrots (still crunchy) and plain lettuce with no dressing all this for $19.07 Beef short ribs: Same as the NY steak platter except with bland short ribs with not enough teriyaki so cover them Over all I will be eating the Teriyaki from Sushi Ninja. read more

My sister and I were in the area and decided to try some pho for lunch. We shared a large chicken pho (number 17) carry out. It was really nicely packaged with chop sticks, a spoon, the broth, a bowl with noodles and chicken, and a plastic bag with basil, jalapeno peppers, lime, and bean sprouts. There was also a small packet of siracha sauce and hoisin. The broth was tasty, it seemed to me there was a little more star anise flavor than I'm used to, but it was good. The chicken was cut in match box size sticks rather than sliced, which actually made it easier to eat with chop sticks. For 2 people for lunch the large size pho was more than enough. At $10 for 2 people it certainly was better than any fast food place nearby. They have apparently recently added some teriyaki meats to their menu, they have spring, summer and egg rolls, plus some other appetizers. I wouldn't call myself a "pho connoisseur" like others who have left reviews on here, but I was born and raised in Vietnam, so I think I pseudo-know what I am talking about. I ordered a large Pho because I was very very hungry and my oh my was it a mistake. Honestly, it tasted just, not right! It's hard to put it into words but the spices were off. It has a distinct after taste that I can only best describe as "bland". If that makes sense. Good pho broth has flavors of a multitude of spices: star anise, clove, cinnamon, ginger, plenty others (in vietnam 24 spices is the norm for pho broth). The broth I had here tastes like pure beef broth which has been cooked with onions. Those are the only 2 flavors I can distinguish. It's wholeheartedly bland. Oh and there was not much meat at all. I had some itty bitty bits of meat floating around in my bowl that I had to actively hunt down lol. I also feel a little crazy saying this, but their hoisin sauce doesn't taste right... anyone who thinks the same please let me know. I thought all restaurants get their sauce from like the same sauce dealer or something. But this is the first time I have had a restaurant whose hoisin sauce tasted different like others. It has a funky after taste. By the way, don't expect authenticity too much. The staff isn't Vietnamese. I suppose that's why the soup doesn't taste so good. Service was good. I noticed this pho cafe a few weeks ago and was really excited for it to be open soon! Being that it's like 10 mins away from where I live, but that's not the point. On to the place & food. 1. It's located in a small shopping center right off the intersection of Randolph road and New Hampshire ave where the Giant is at. Parking is scarce and tight so be careful backing out ! 2. The inside looks nice and very lit (lightening wise) with a good amount of seats/tables for couple and families - though I think the max capacity is 20. There are no single seaters! 3. Only condiments on the table are housin and sriracha sauce. No chili paste unfortunately... 4. Menu is just two pages. Left side being the pho and the right being the rice dishes & beverages. Prices are what you would expect at most pho places. $8.95 for a large and a dollar less for small. 5. I ordered number 1 (L): beef brisket, flank, soft tendon, steak. The very first thing noticed when my bowl arrived, was the dark broth - That is not normal because the broth is suppose to be light where you can see all the ingredients in your bowl. The broth gave off this strong non-beefy aroma which nearly turned my appetite down and that's also abnormal when it comes to pho. The first thing you do (before you drench your broth with condiments) is try the broth to determine if it's good or not. My WORD WAS IT UTTERLY CONFUSING AND BAD! It's like they used those fake prepackaged beef pho powders !! After that first sip, I wanted to just pay and leave, but I hate wasting food - so I sucked it up and finished it (NOT the broth). The meats even tasted weird, I guess only because it soaked in that bad broth... The tendon was all rubbery rather than getting the gelatin-soft texture. I know most (if not all) my Vietnamese pho lover patrons would agree with me. Now, I'm not steering anyone away from trying this place out, but heed my WARNING - for winter is coming... P.s Their other condiments of bean sprouts and basil leaf are small portions. Did I mention they don't serve jalapenos and give a ton of limes? First of all I order a large shrimp pho $3.00 extra, ive NEVER in all of my years seen any slice a shrimp in half the long way..lmao what a rip off. They give you 3 shrimp but cut them in half to make it look like 6. I also ordered a large and in the take out bag it's so much less than what you would get if you were in the actual restaurant because the carry out containers are SMALL, another rip off. Got this to go because pandemic. The food comes in this plastic bowls which, at first, don't look large but there is definitely a lot of noodles and company in there. Not a lot of meat, I'll add, but just enough or slightly less than enough. Again, I had a few slices of pizza minutes before. The broth wasn't too salty or too bland which was nice but could use a little more cilantro. In the to go package each bowl gets their own little baggie of basil, jalapeno pepper, and bean sprouts which I thought was great because you don't have to share with others. The salmon with carrots was equally great :). Environment was clean, yet cold. The heater must have not been working while I dined. I was freezing. Staff=2 waitress's very observant and fast! I've been coming here for like 4 years. Pretty much since they opened. Everything is on point all the time except the broth, which is inconsistent. the basil, bean sprouts, and jalapenos are good quality, the meat is good and they give you enough to have a piece with every bite of noodles. But the broth is the most important part, and sometimes it's amazing, other times it's okay. Last time I came here my bowl was pure heaven, the time before that i'm pretty sure my broth was ocean water. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt because it hits more than it misses.
