The worst pho I had ever had. No flavor. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The soursop smoothie was pretty tasty. I thought I was stumbling into a hidden gem. But as I continued to see small groups of college kids roll in after I ordered I knew this place wasn't going to meet my expectations. You can serve college kids anything and they're happy lol Prices were reasonable, the portion was a nice size but the flavor just wasn't there. Now I have to buy dinner elsewhere because honestly I'm not forcing myself to eat it.

    Nice full bowl!

I gave this 5 stars 11 years ago but have since had a lot more Pho. This is a very thin traditional clear stock. Good flavor. Has a fair amount of salt or msg in it. Not a lot of meat in my #12. Large was $16.50 and the coffee was $5.75. So, kind of a pricey lunch, but it is fast, reliable, friendly and the noodles are perfect. These days a tend to like a more full bodied stock. Best I have found is Nam Pho over in Annapolis. It's really good. She even makes her own chili sauce (sriracha) from scratch.

Overall, Pho VN One really hit the spot for my pho craving. For about 15 bucks, you can receive a HUGE bowl of pho with comes with all of the fixings. There is an option for a smaller bowl for about $14 bucks. I also ordered the fried spring rolls, which were about $4 for two. If you are not super hungry, I would recommend skipping the appetizers because you will receive a huge portion of pho. The ambiance of the restaurant is very modest because you might see a few broken tables with yellow tape blocking it off. However, I think that's kind of par for the course for many Vietnamese restaurants that I have visited in the area. The restaurant is great for larger parties. During my visit, I saw a couple of groups with 6+ people. I thought the service was pretty good because the waiter/owner checked on me a couple of times during my meal. Also, the food will come out fast. For instance, my pho came out before my spring rolls. ;) I was a little annoyed that it took a while to receive my bill. However, I think that was on me because I did not realize that you are supposed to get your bill and pay at the register. Although the food was great, I do not think that I will go too far out of my way (e.g., driving more than 20 minutes) to dine here. However, if I have a pho craving while in the Beltsville area, I'll definitely will return.

    Well done round and tendon

If I am being honest for a large bowl, it's very little meat and noodles here and I even bought extra meatballs. I tried to order extra tendon but they said they only have enough for pho and not for a side. Doesn't make sense to me if you're going to charge extra and then say you can't do it. Meatballs were just okay. The broth was just okay. I wanted to ask for extra of the bean sprouts etc, but honestly wasn't enough food to take any home. Usually if I place a large order at other pho restaurants I have plenty left to take home. For the price I do not think it's the best value, but it's just okay. I did enjoy my Vietnamese iced coffee. The service was fine.

Today I mistakenly tipped with a much larger bill I didn't see and the hostess was kind enough to double-check / let me know without hesitating. I am so grateful for the honesty (and did tip extra after). As I mentioned in a previous review, the pho was flavorful and hit the right spot - would recommend!

Beautifully restaurant, fast and friendly service. I ordered the summer roll with pork and a number 12 pho. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. Highly recommend if you're craving Vietnamese food

I had chance to dine in here after many many years, and I must say that the Phö is still absolutely amazing & one of the best in the area! The ambiance of the restaurant is still very zen and chilled, and the customer service has improved majorly! The food here simply brings one comfort. 5 STARS BABY!!!! Cheers to good eats!

The lady in the front with a bob

everything could be improved, the service is terrible the cashier host lady assumed we were going to steal and said she didn't "trust us" paying separately. Racism that is expressed through rudeness and microagressions. The food cost much more than any pho spot and the portions are like 5 pieces of meat and the rice noodles took most of the plate. The ambiance feels like hell.

    Fried spring rolls

I have been coming here since I was 3 months pregnant and the food here has always been amazing! The owners are so welcoming and nice. The calm music is just a nice touch. You can have conversations without over bearing music. The fried spring rolls are a must try! Even after not coming for a while they still recognized me

When we walked in, we stood at the counter for several minutes without anyone greeting us or asking if we needed assistance. The only employee visible was a woman at the front who was focused on throwing away breakfast items. She never looked up or acknowledged that customers were waiting. Eventually, I walked over and asked if breakfast was still being served. She simply replied, "No." As I was speaking with her, I watched her remove three breakfast quiches from the display, place them into a bag, and throw them away. She then took down the breakfast signs. It was frustrating because Panera could have sold those quiches instead of discarding them while customers were actively asking for breakfast. A simple response such as, "Breakfast has ended, but these are the last quiches we have available if you're interested," would have been much better customer service. I also noticed another customer had the same experience. He had to walk over to the employee because she never acknowledged anyone waiting at the counter. I don't know why we were ignored or whether there was another reason, but the lack of acknowledgment and customer service was concerning. After the interaction, I no longer felt comfortable ordering food that was being prepared by someone with that attitude, so I left without making a purchase. I hope management reviews this situation and reminds employees that greeting customers and offering basic assistance can make a significant difference in the overall experience.

I think $38.99 is a fair price for all you can eat. I like that the portions are small so too much is not wasted. This was also my first encounter with the delivery robot. That was cool. I don't like that it has other people's food on it though. I was sitting close to the kitchen so my food didn't have to travel too far but, I wouldn't want my food traveling across the room and making stops at multiple tables before getting to me. I'm from the South and I need a bit of flavor so I did add Salt and Pepper to the items while cooking. The salad dressing had no flavor. I ended up using the yum yum sauce as a dressing. The dumplings were good. The cucumber salad was also good. My favorite hot item was the steak and shrimp. The brisket was mostly fat and the thin pork belly was like Prosciutto. My only suggesting is serving the noodles closer to when the hot items are ready. They get stiff if they just sit. Oh, and I think you need separate tongs for seafood, pork, chicken, and beef. I was worried about cross contaminating. I'd try this again.
