Was craving Vietnamese food while in Rockville so we decided to go to this place and I'm glad we did! Normally we go to Eden center when we're craving good Vietnamese food but this is probably one of our new go to places. I got the veggie pho and crab spring rolls and both were delicious. The crab spring rolls were def unique and crispy seasoned well. As for the veggie pho I wasnt expecting much since lots of veggie phos tend to skimp on the tofu and the broth isn't paid much attention to but I was surprised they they had a decent amount of tofu and the veggie broth was well seasoned. It was also priced well for the area. I enjoyed my meal and would definitely come back!

It's a great place for a quick meal. I stopped here for a bowl of pho. The price was affordable, the portion was generous. I had a hearty meal of soup with beef and more. The service was good and efficient. The ambiance was casual.

Green papaya salad with beef jerky

Highly recommended by Vietnamese friends but not sure we ordered their best dishes. Papaya salad was definitely a hit with the recommended beef jerky (as I type it, this doesn't sound very appealing but it truly was fresh and delicious.) Pho was serviceable as were the rolls and bun dishes. Service was friendly and helpful. This strip mall feels a little sketchy but once inside the restaurant has a nice homey feel. We'll try some other items on the menu next time.

Tried this place with my family for lunch the other day and appreciated the number of unique menu items that are not commonly found on other local Vietnamese restaurants' menus, such as Banh Cuon (Vietnamese crepes), Bun Bo Hue (Spicy lemongrass beef noodle soup), and Thit Quay Gion Bi (Crispy pork belly), for example. The restaurant is located in a strip mall in the Twinbrook area, with a decent number of parking spaces available in a lot right out front. The interior has nicely spaced out tables in the middle of the dining room for medium-sized parties, and some half booths along the perimeter, so no need to worry about crowding or sitting too close to other tables. Service was friendly and our food took a little bit of time to come out - not as long as it would take if it were freshly made - but still took some time as the wrapper of the Spring Roll seemed to taste freshly deep fried (despite the filling being precooked), although I think most items were just reheated. As for the authenticity of the restaurant, I am on the fence about this, as the fish sauce barely tasted like anything. Usually, the tell-tale sign of an authentic Vietnamese restaurant for me is determined by the fish sauce - it should be a balance between sweet, salty, sour, spicy and umami. The fish sauce here was neither of those flavors despite the variety of authentic dishes they offer. Overall, this establishment is a good introduction to some traditional Vietnamese dishes, but enhancing the flavor profile of the fish sauce would definitely make the food taste more authentic. I will come back if I am in the area and craving a certain Vietnamese dish that I can't find elsewhere, but it's likely I won't become a regular here.

The Banh Cuon dish I had was pretty good. It was different because it came with meatballs like the Bun Cha Ha Noi dish. I would get this dish again! It was a big portion so you can share with others as well. The Bun Bo Hue on the other hand wasn't good, and I wouldn't get it again. It tasted like normal pho broth with a scoop of sate for coloring. The restaurant is very big and spacious.

Came here for another try for lunch. As before food was ok, nothing to go crazy about. The shrimp papaya salad was good with flavor, chicken rice dish was ok.

Quick dinner first time there quick in and out. The service was wonderful, and the food was delicious. Being a big fan of iced coffee I had to get it and it was Amazing. I think that the ambiance is perfect for its size. It's not overwhelming. Overall the food was very good, fresh, the perfect temperature, and the portion was perfect. I will have to go back and try many of my favorites which are on the menu.

While you should skip the pho here for pho75, the bun bo hue was surprisingly good. Flavorful broth, blood cube that had no odor (firmness on the medium instead of soft), and other various fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was casual. The service was inviting.

Bahn cuon's texture is decent, nice and thin but I feel that the filling is not as nice as others I've had from Eden ctr, the vietnamese center. The crab spring roll is decent but I probably should just stick w regular spring roll. I like the grilled beef that comes w Bahn cuon. I don't like the broth, I feel like the anise flavor is too strong. Very fast service and overall it is decent food.

Hello Vietnam in Rockville has this amazing dish Banh Cuon Thit Nuong - basically grilled meatballs and pork in sweet broth with rice crepes with ground pork filling. Definitely unique and one of the few places in the DMV that has it. Service was super friendly and fast. Place is bright and open and a little slow on a Monday night. Yes the prices are kinda steep for Viet food, but it's made up with their portions and the quality of meats. The pho had massive slices of beef. N the bun with grilled pork had so much that my wife needed help finishing with the meat.

I went to Hello Vietnam for a quick lunch after a long day of traveling. I was immediately greeted upon walking in and shown to a table. We decided to order the P4 and our food came quickly. The broth of the pho was delicious and the aromatics used to flavor the broth really came through. The person I was with ordered a fruit smoothie and although it came out a little later than our food, it was tasty and was a great compliment to balance out the smokiness of the pho. The restaurant is located in a shopping center with ample parking and overall I would definitely return.

Special Crispy Spring Rolls with Crab Meat

I have a few friends who really like this restaurant so decided go check it out. I ordered the spring rolls with crab meat which were a delight and the pho with brisket. It's a okay broth, but not the best broth I've had in the area so I likely won't be back for this. They do have other menu items that aren't normally found in the area like caramlised fish, banh cuon, banh mi bo ne which I may come back to try.

Reliably one of my favorite go-tos for Vietnamese food. I usually switch it up between a bowl of pho (one size only: LARGE ) and a bun nuong and am always satisfied with whichever one won that day. The flavors are wonderful and balanced and portions are perfect. The service is always prompt and pleasant. We've always been lucky to eat in on the evenings when they're not too busy so have enjoyed their relaxed environment. Will happy continue to frequent for years to come.

I ordered a large bowl but should have gotten a small. A robot delivered my order to the table with the help of Ben, which was a hoot. I have to say that the scent of the broth hit my nose first and it was heavenly. The accompaniments of lime, basil, bean sprouts and jalapeno slices were very fresh. I added a few modest squirts of sriracha sauce and got to eating. The round steak was a nice surprise ... steak in pho can be very chewy and this bowl had decently tender slices.
